The best restaurants in Cork

01/05/2026: First time trying Donatellos and would highly recommend it. The pizzas were cooked perfectly, looked great, tasted fantastic and were reasonably priced. Would certainly have no hesitation from ordering from here again.

21/07/2026: This is a takeaway review. I paid around €25 and honestly I feel a bit cheated. The food was low quality, stingy on the meat, despite the price. The gyoza were absolutely awful. I don't if it is because I make my own but these tasted like some of the crap ones from lidl. Actually that is wrong, lidl ones are palatable. I will never get food from them again and I will only suggest you to order something small and see how it goes. You will be disappointed. I'm actually crushed.

27/06/2026: Got food here last night there was a taste of burn off the noodles and when I contacted the restaurant to complain he was just rude on the phone not the first time it happened either stay well clear of this place cooking equipment is dirty

25/08/2026: Freshly battered fish was so nice we returned numerous times over our holidays. Such a friendly spot, great service, got a lovely gesture of a free icecream for our frequent visits. Lovely family

20/08/2026: The burgers are excellent, the small fries are huge! The price is truly unbeatable!!! Each burger is prepared right before your eyes.....

29/09/2026: Previously the food here was great, everything was piping hot and delicious. Last time I was there I waited 15 extra min for collection. That wouldn't be such a big deal if tonight I recived the actual order I made. I ordered chicken tenders and wedges box, unfortunately it contained only the wedges, I'm really disappointed. Make sure to always check the order before leaving the restaurant!

13/08/2026: We arrived close to closing time so they did not have any chicken left however the food we got was fresh tasty and served with courtesy.

12/07/2026: I visited this restaurant today with my wife, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Everything was fresh and well prepared. We really enjoyed our meal and felt well taken care of. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back

28/09/2026: Stopped to get fuel etc the other day buy was on a long journey from Kerry with elderly parents travelling with me., said we would use the bathroom first, after making our way towards the toilets, the staff member told me the toilets had just been cleaned and sealed off for the rest of the evening, this was just 6pm and alot of people travelling home from work getting fuel. It's so disappointing when that happens, we left and got fuel etc elsewhere, which was very difficult at the time, don't understand how people shopping there wouldn't want to have the choice of a rest room at any time of the day.

11/08/2026: The food is old, the fries I ordered for my son were old and hard, I do not recommend eating them...

04/09/2026: Needs to be cleaned more. Shabby. Food is tasty tough.plenty staff behind the counter, none cleaning tables.

29/08/2026: Very noisy and staff weren't very friendly .. not many seats to dine in and people standing g everywhere waiting for food. The ketchup station wasn't very clean either.. our first night didn't go to good after hoping for a superman's..

31/07/2026: The man taking orders was incredibly rude and unprofessional when my teen son and I stopped by to place an in-person order tonight. Dismissive is an understatement. I ended up not ordering anything for myself, just a medium pizza for my son. The order ended up being taken by another employee after the original person taking orders walked off after making eye contact and not saying a word. We patiently waited the entire time (note: there was no line in the store). When his order was ready, it was dropped on the counter with a "ready" and again walked off (no other customers in sight). My son went up to grab it and returned with wide eyes, surprised at the unfriendly reception. I don't expect fanfare over 15 euros but a simple "good night", "enjoy", or "thank you" would have gone a long way after the rocky start to the sale. We only popped in there because the restaurant we wanted to eat at had just closed their kitchen (music and bar only). Mistake but I didn't want to move my car to find someplace that's still open. Parking at my hotel is very limited. I'll fast until my hotel's breakfast versus giving another dollar to such a rude establishment.

05/10/2026: Visited recently for a family occasion and it was wonderful. The staff truly did everything to ensure our table was looked after. The salmon in particular was great. I would highly recommend for large groups 😋🥂

30/07/2026: Disappointing. To be honest, we went there because the pubs weren't serving anymore and this restaurant had a good rating, but frankly, we don't really understand why. Expensive dishes that aren't worth the price. We ordered fish and chips thinking it would surely be good quality. The result: one of the worst we've ever had (considering restaurants in other countries). Bland fish, thick, soggy, and not very crispy fries (we wondered if they were frozen, which they probably were). We didn't dare order dessert so as not to regret coming there even more... There are surely better places in the area and undoubtedly better value for money.
