08/03/2025: Nice food , great spot for a coffee break

23/02/2025: We popped in for a cofe around 1630 time. Lovely looking cakes etc in the display but told "No, sorry we are closed" as they mopped the floor. Spotted a gift on sale for someone as I passed through. I paid (+ the 30 c for bag). I had to drive several miles back, having realized she charged the full price. I was told "If you are saying I deliberately overcharged you; I DIDNT!!!!" in a snooty manner!! Wow!!!! that was uncalled for (Denise name on receipt). That is a shame for Kilkenny Design Shanagarry.

21/02/2025: Absolutely outstanding food and pints- the beef roast, mussels, and sticky toffee pudding were all delicious, and I had one of the best pints of Guinness I ever had. The service was great as well- a perfect dining experience all around!

21/02/2025: What an incredible restaurant! We happened upon it by chance and everything was top class! We ordered several items on the menu- all surpassed expectations! Terrific Guinness! A casual stroll in Schull ended with a very classy, delicious and friendly experience!

06/04/2025: The food was fresh and delicious but the sitting place and the glasses were a bit dirty and the waiter was not the friendliest. But we'll come back.

22/02/2025: After a few previous meals that were not great, this week was their last chance and it went from bad to worse. I threw food in bin as I was afraid it would make me sick. Meat was dry and tough and not fresh. Food is definitely pre cooked more than once and reheated, such a shame as my family used to love their take away but never again. Recently it tastes like old the away reheated.

31/03/2025: One Star - Avoid at All Costs! Disgusting and inedible. This was, without a doubt, the worst Chinese takeaway experience I've ever had. I'm genuinely shocked that they are still operating with such a low standard of food quality. They essentially took my money for garbage. The spring rolls tasted stale, suggesting they were either old or improperly stored. The chips were a disturbing shade of brown, and so hard they were practically inedible. The 3-in-1 was a mushy, unappetizing mess. To add insult to injury, even the canned coke tasted off, indicating it was either past its expiration date or improperly stored. Every single element of the meal was a complete failure. I will NEVER eat here again and strongly advise anyone considering ordering from them to save their money and go elsewhere. They seriously need to re-evaluate their food preparation and storage practices. I honestly don't understand how they stay in business.

26/03/2025: I got a takeaway from here during the week. It was hands down one of the worse Chinese meals I've ever had. This place used to be great, what has changed? You have to do better, until then I'll be avoiding this place.

18/03/2025: Nice bar for a pint or two. A plus was you could actually have a conversation and hear the other person.

28/02/2025: Service speed fine, but very unfriendly experience. My elderly mother, teenage son and myself all independently thought it was a miserable feel to the place created by the staff, drank our delicious coffee and ate our delicious cake at speed so we could leave ASAP.

16/03/2025: Like all other fast food outlets there's a cold atmosphere and not really inviting. You wouldn't feel like lingering on a while once you have eaten. Staff are friendly mostly and serve your order as soon as they can. The portions have become smaller than they used to be but the prices have gone up a good bit we find this to be the norm at all fast food outlets and not just this particular outlet. There is no value for what you have to pay in any fast food outlet these days. Their chicken breast burger is lovely but the portion of chips given is disappointing.
