04/07/2025: Truly the most considerate staff going. I’ve never seen so many waiters and waitresses (amongst others) work so perfectly. I could only dream of service this good again

14/05/2025: Very disappointing experience. I waited 30 minutes for my sandwich. When I went to ask about it, they told me they had forgotten my order. Fine, mistakes happen. But when the older waitress finally brought it over, she didn’t even apologize — and on top of that, it was the wrong sandwich. When I went back to tell her it wasn’t what I had ordered, she told me to “calm down.” Absolutely unacceptable behavior. Very rude and unprofessional service. I won’t be coming back.

12/04/2025: Ridiculous prices, €3.10 for a bag of salt and vinegar taytos, €3.60 for a browny that was stale and gone off. I never put in reviews but I had to for this place. Coffee was not good at all. Staff where very good but, I will not be going back.

01/09/2025: We went there and had a chicken burger (great!) and scampi and chips. We waited a lot longer than they said we would have to and the chips weren’t that great and the scampi for that price didn’t taste as good as expected. I would recommend getting the chicken but I thought for being so close to the sea the scampi would taste better.

30/08/2025: Had a fantastic meal here! Best fish and chips we've had in ages, delicious veg curry as well. Everything perfectly cooked and very fresh. Highly recommend!

18/07/2025: I ordered a fish and chips from the Bandon van I can tell you the fish was tasteless it tasted like water the chips I don’t understand how people eat those chips they are rock I also waited 20 min for a fish and chips they where probably defrosting the fish they had no orders when I ordered she’s Evan asked me do you want tha deal of the day fish chips or do you want the big one I got the fish chips cost me 16 euro it was pure I couldn’t eat it had to go in the bin that fish is not fresh is frozen fish

17/06/2025: Where do I start honestly Pizza was single handedly the worst I've had it's not even a pizza dough, waiting 15 minutes to be told they didn't have the toppings for the pizza. 40 minute total wait for the pizza on a quiet Tuesday night. Save your time and go to MC Donald's

25/05/2025: Amazing takeaway. Brilliant gluten-free selection. They do most dishes with out gluten. Would recommend this restaurant as they are very efficient and the food is delicious!!!

27/06/2025: Visited here for lunch during the week. The place was fairly quiet. We were sat at a nice window table but it took 10 minutes to get menus and a further 15 to have our order taken. We went for crab salad and fish and chips. The food arrived pretty quickly and the portions were large. Both dishes were very disappointing. The fish was not fresh and totally overcooked. It was mushy inside the thick hard batter. The crab was quite watery and not very tasty. All in all, not a very good experience.

19/05/2025: For my birthday I was given a 150 euro voucher to get a message and after have some lunch. The spa experience was amazing, the girl gave me the message was really talented, however after my great experience in the spa I had 25 euro remaining for some lunch in the hotel lounge called Amber. I order the steak sandwich which looked amazing when it was delivered to my table. I quickly realized tho that the steak cuts were very fatty, the whole time I eat it I had to constantly remove fat. It was very disappointing as this is a 5 star hotel. In my opinion you should not get fat on your steak sandwich which costed me by the way 22 euro. So yeah very disappointed with that. I would of spoke up but I was under pressure to get back home. Spa was amazing but I genuinely felt left down getting a 5 star hotel experience with the lunch.

06/05/2025: One of the younger staff dropped red sauce on my 10 month old baby (accidents happen) but the manager was rude and didn't bother to speak to us even though the restaurant was quiet. It wasn't what I would expect from a restaurant in a fancy hotel. One of the staff Jose was lovely and very attentive. Honestly the food was fine I just didn't enjoy it because of the service and it was 100 eur for 2 mains, a kids starter and 2 drinks.

24/08/2025: Order was wrong, staff was rude and argued with me when I called and claimed I was lying about how long we were waiting for delivery and then asked for the food back to verify it was wrong before replacing it🤣🤣not to mention it took almost an hour and a half to deliver and then replaced only half the food so the other half was cold👏👏👏

16/03/2025: Like all other fast food outlets there's a cold atmosphere and not really inviting. You wouldn't feel like lingering on a while once you have eaten. Staff are friendly mostly and serve your order as soon as they can. The portions have become smaller than they used to be but the prices have gone up a good bit we find this to be the norm at all fast food outlets and not just this particular outlet. There is no value for what you have to pay in any fast food outlet these days. Their chicken breast burger is lovely but the portion of chips given is disappointing.

For a place that caters to tourists it was well below the service my group received anywhere else our entire stay. I’m going to assume the person was having an off day but I hope the next time they want to yell at someone they consider another way of doing it especially when that person has medical needs they were trying to take care of. The pure embarrassment the member of my party had was so uncalled for. Again significantly better cafes in town who were grateful for the business and had zero issue with medical needs being addressed.

13/08/2025: Currently on the wild Atlantic way and stopped here for food the prices are great the food tastes lovely and the service is fast , friendly and efficient would recommend to anyone visiting kinsale

25/03/2025: We chose the Diavola and the Tuna pizzas. The food was tasty and presented nicely. The staff were friendly. We were disappointed that neither Guinness or cider were on the menu but we did enjoy our meal.Thank you!
