08/05/2025: Was there for the Jazz festival and the lady at the door with eyeglasses assumed me and boyfriend were drunk because he was holding a plastic cup of water, but we both don't drink. Said they weren't making pizzas anymore, but when we stepped out of the door, other people were getting boxes of pizzas. Thought it was handled unprofessionally, and we were judged based on a faulty first impression. We just wanted pizzas and the staff was a meany :)

06/03/2025: 12 diners and 12 clean plates. It was divine. Biggest struggle was trying to decide what to order. Service and food quality were faultless. Perfect for a group looking for a good value meal.

23/03/2025: The atmosphere is very ritzy. Mind you it was lunch and was laid back, and the staff was very friendly, but based on most of the people eating there when we walked in, it seemed that they had a certain clientele base that typically dines there. I would imagine had it been either a weekend, or dinner, it would have been a different story. As far as the food, it was great. Why only four stars then? I ordered the Roasted West Cork Hake Fillet. It ios not often that I get seafood, and when I do, it isn't typically "fresh" per se as I live in a landlocked state. So being in a country where fresh is taken to a whole new level, I figured I would have some fresh seafood. The seafood was very fresh. The only thing disparaging for me was that on the menu it stated that there were Black Shell Mussels as part of the dish. And while there were in fact mussels in the dish, there were only two which was a bit disappointing for me (I love mussels). The quality, the freshness, the taste of everything was great, but for as much food that was there, to only get two mussels seemed kind of stingy.

12/05/2025: Very tasty fish & chips. The chicken fingers were also delicious and well seasoned. Payment only possible in cash.

12/05/2025: Tried this place today. Absolutely spotless. Cleanest fish shop I have ever seen. Local food made with heart. Girls are salt of the earth and happy to chat if they aren't busy. Tasty food and girl who served me. Well done. And real tarta sauce.

23/05/2025: Brilliant well worth the visit ,large portions here if not to hungry share, very friendly staff and very clean chipper, they don't do FISH but very large menu and child menu very reasonable, fresh cut chips , clean toilets , 2 large communal tables indoor and some small outdoor tables this chipper is in middle clonkilty town ,lovely walk around this town and plenty to do in surrounding areas, warren beach is a must visit not far from clonkilty plenty parking here and clean toilet facilities

17/05/2025: Had their bacon cheese burger. I guess they deep fry it because it might have been the greasiest burger I've ever had. Didn't taste terrible, it just had very little flavor presumably because everything was coated in oil.

10/05/2025: This is 1 of the best eating place's in Youghal. You can get great food and delicious desserts to.

27/04/2025: Me and my daughter went for a meal. She got the wrong order even though two people were taking it. I gave it back was apologised to Waited like more than ten minutes,went to ask how much longer the order would take and one of the staff handed me the box Which was ready minutes prior They didn’t bother letting us know the food was ready The place was empty we were the only customers there. Plus her food wasn’t the warmest. Don’t recommend not coming back again.

29/04/2025: The worst Chinese restaurant I have been to, mainly because of the quality of the food. We went in April, family gathering, 10 of us. Ordered the €46 all in for everyone. The satay chicken? What is that? Shredded I don’t know what? Not for human consumption. Same product in chicken dishes. Taken home by one of the party in a take home container. Could not identify the next day. When charging outrageous prices, you at least have to provide quality food. I gave this restaurant one star. It doesn’t even deserve that. One very unhappy customer that attended a family reunion in April.
