19/11/2025: Excellent food and friendly staff! We had dinner at Breens Lobster on a Saturday night. The restaurant is beautiful and located near the harbor. We ordered a fish pie and a crab gratin, and everything was excellent 👌🏻 The portions were generous and the food was high quality. The servers were pleasant. Thank you for a lovely experience!

10/08/2025: Excellent food and very nice staff. Quick service and good prices.

08/08/2025: We ordered, the duck and salt and chilli chips and chicken and spring rolls. Food was cold and tasteless, the duck was very dry as were the chips. Won't be ordering from there again. I will be speaking to the manager tomorrow. Almost €40 for nothing.

14/09/2025: Full of smoke shockingly. My clothes smelt terrible afterwards .. we had to sit outside in the rain in an effort to avoid the smell .

19/08/2025: Stumbled across this gem while walking the Beara Way and it was an absolute treat. The bar has a lovely terrace with views that make the perfect backdrop for a well-earned pint. The staff behind the bar were welcoming, the atmosphere relaxed, and it felt like one of those hidden treasures you’re glad to discover off the beaten path. If you’re passing through this town, don’t miss it, a pint on that terrace is worth the walk alone.

12/10/2025: Got a takeaway and the food was excellent...

29/12/2025: Lovely spot for a pint, very tasty sandwiches and if you’re lucky enough on the day to have the beef goulash soup, it will warm the cockles of your heart. Top marks to all in Lombards.

13/08/2025: reasonably priced for this area!!! Good food. Generous portions. Recommending swordfish, and mussels. they were busy and there was a miscommunication whether we wait for the waiter or do we order inside. We will come back.

19/12/2024: This place has just changed its name to A&T Luxflavor ..had breakfast here today .. Service was good. but the food was muck. Sausage bacon hash brown beans and mushroom .. toast and the worst cappuccino i have ever tasted .. The place was empty at lunchtime, and now i can see why...The cheap produce that was our breakfast could have been anything. .. It was totally tasteless.. including the crap coffee. We wont be returning

10/12/2024: A very nice place with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is always friendly, and the service is excellent. It’s a place you want to come back to again and again. Highly recommend!

26/11/2025: The pizza is up there with the best I have ever had , chips are nice and fresh , The can coke was lovely and cold 🥶this place is a 10/10 😁

26/08/2025: Worked a 12 shift today …..had no food was really Hungary…..I tried this place ….had fish and chips…….it was shocking …..has to be the worst fish I’ve eaten on 3 continents….had a strange taste off the fish…….the chips were ok……..one bite of the fish and I knew it was going to be consigned to the dustbin where it belongs………don’t attempt to try the fish at this place…..

12/11/2025: Excellent meal at the hotel. Lovely setting, good choice of options for all and excellent service. In particular, José was our server who was so nice; he gave great recommendations and excellent service all evening. Would highly recommend!

22/08/2025: Unfortunately, the lunch offerings were very limited, just a few toasties. But they also had mussels, and they were really great. Otherwise, a typical small-town Irish pub.

16/06/2025: Absolutely amazing experience! I wasn’t sure what to order, but the staff were so kind and helpful, they gave me great recommendations and didn’t disappoint! Super friendly and fast service. I popped to the shops while they made my pizza, and to my surprise, it was ready when I got back. Delicious food and lovely people. Very happy— will definitely be back!

10/06/2025: Went here for lunch Sunday with my two children. Tried the carvery which I have to say was very nice. My children ordered Goujons and Chips from the Kids menu. In fairness their portion size was good but they did not like the Goujons themselves. I tried a piece of one and I found it to be a little tasteless. On a positive note the waitress who served us was lovely and great talking to the kids however the the person serving the carvery was engaging in a very loud conversation with other staff and using colourful language. My children noticed this and were a bit upset talking about it afterwards. While this language is probably acceptable for a bar setting on a Saturday night it was inappropriate in front of children and really unprofessional for someone serving front of house. So a mixed bag really. Good solid Carvery and lovely waitress but disappointing kids food and an unprofessional member of staff.
