16/11/2025: Was very disappointed with my experience here. Ordered 2 hot chocolates received one and was waiting 10 minutes to be asked with an attitude “what am I waiting for” - explained I only received one of the two, after another 12 minutes of waiting (at this point I was keeping track) I had to ask was it on the way as I had to leave. I initially went in to grab a “quick” hot chocolate to go - I was informed that it was forgotten about AGAIN. Overall waited nearly 25 minutes for a hot chocolate. I wouldn’t return not simply because of the service but because of the attitude of the female working there.

26/12/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ABSOLUTE PERFECTION – A SEAFOOD DREAM COME TRUE! I can honestly say this was one of the most unforgettable restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Let’s start with the seafood chowder, without exaggeration, it is the best chowder we have ever tasted anywhere. Rich, velvety, loaded with fresh seafood, and bursting with deep, comforting flavour. One spoonful and we were completely sold. Then came the fish and chips it was pure gold. The fish was impossibly fresh with a light, crispy batter that shattered beautifully with every bite, and the chips were fluffy inside with the perfect crunch outside. Classic comfort food done at an elite level. And my personal highlight: the prawn pasta. Absolutely sensational. The prawns were plump and juicy, the sauce silky and indulgent, and every mouthful felt like it was crafted with love and attention to detail. From the first bite to the last, everything was flawless. This is not just a meal, it’s an experience. If you’re even remotely a seafood lover, this place is a must-visit. I’d travel back in a heartbeat just to taste that chowder again. Bravo to the entire team, you’ve set the bar incredibly high. 🌟

14/10/2025: Delicious pizza. Had the gluten free camp must try campagniola. Also amazing mighty meaty and Hawaiian pizza. Great service. Support local businesses.

18/09/2025: Pros: - very kind the main waitress Cons: - pizza is really average, even made fresh but in taste similar to a frozen product - glasses for a sodas are the glasses for a pints - too loud tv - other waitress was sitting on the couch of 4 seats table blocking customers to take that table (?) - a little cold inside - main menu is showing one size of pizza 12" but there are also bigger sizes - misinformation

16/09/2025: Medium Empire State is top class. They are not shy with toppings. Pricey enough. There's only a small seated area.

21/11/2025: Wonderful evening and event. Top class meal 100% ... BUT parking left a lot yes a lot to be desired. Damp & wet evening ment, a lot of "wet limestone slime" was everywhere. On footwear, cars interiors etc. .And allowing parking of cars at entrance door, .s a definite no no. Clear access should be mentioned at ALL times in the event of an emergency

25/11/2025: One of the few nearby restaurants open on Monday evenings. You can get many popular Irish dishes here at reasonable prices. The fish is well-seasoned and thickly breaded. The fries are standard and served with a tasty sauce. The burger is loaded with cheese, and the beef itself is juicy. The portions are huge, so you can easily fill up. I recommend it.

14/09/2025: Went recently with my family for breakfast and it was great. the food was superb and affordable, the coffee some of the best ive had in mallow and the staff were all very kind. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a breakfast in mallow.

27/06/2025: Visited here for lunch during the week. The place was fairly quiet. We were sat at a nice window table but it took 10 minutes to get menus and a further 15 to have our order taken. We went for crab salad and fish and chips. The food arrived pretty quickly and the portions were large. Both dishes were very disappointing. The fish was not fresh and totally overcooked. It was mushy inside the thick hard batter. The crab was quite watery and not very tasty. All in all, not a very good experience.

23/08/2025: It was a bit disappointing, because I saw the previous reviews and I was expecting something good. I ordered one portion of dumplings, one sichuan chicken and side of stir fried noodles. That’s how supposed to come the order, first the dumplings and then the chicken and noodles. First it take 30 minutes to come and the first dish wash the stir fried noodles only, after 5 minutes the chicken than was more onions than chicken and was not with sichuan pepper, it was just a sugar chilli sauce, and the dumplings was the “desert”. Terrible service and terrible food.

14/02/2026: Currently waiting over 2.5 hours for a delivery. Tried ringing many many times and getting no answer. Absolute joke i will not be getting food from here again
