06/11/2024: Great little place to go and get a sandwich Staff fast and efficient and nice atmosphere in this place plus the coffee is really nice ........but 8e for a blt toastie is a bit rich considering its simple plain white pan and not some sort of fancy bread like sour dough or ciabatta

06/11/2024: Honestly a bizarre experience here. When we walked in the door the chef shouted at us from the kitchen that there was no space when we could see many empty tables. The waitress then sat us. We waited 20 minutes to order and a further 40 minutes for our food (a full Irish and waffles with bacon). On the menu the full Irish was supposed to come with toast but it did not. People who arrived at least 10 minutes after us order was taken before us. We ordered 2 coffees and only got one, we didn’t even mention this as at this point we were running late to our appointment. We had to take cutlery off the table next to us when our meal finally arrived as we had none. And finally the icing on the cake was when from our seats we could hear the chef cursing and shouting from the kitchen after he dropped/ banged off something. Overall not a good experience, the food wasnt bad though and the waitress was friendly and kind but she needed help it’s too big for her to wait all tables alone.

12/11/2024: So Dad and I hadn't booked anything in advance on our Ireland road trip. We ended up picking this hotel as it was close to the Midleton Distillery Experience. Must say this didn't disappoint. The food was good and the accommodations were comfortable. Wish I could give it 5 stars however it just wasn't there. Close though still had good staff and great location. Would definitely stay here again. I mean the lamb roast was delicious!

07/10/2024: This place is absolutely amazing The food is so tasteful The flavours are plentiful The crispy chicken in satay sauce is unbelievably beautiful Hands down I can say I've now eaten in the nicest Chinese restaurant in Ireland Go to the golden coast in castletownbere you will have no regrets.

24/07/2024: Old style bar with the Irish proclamation still on the wall. The place needs TLC not to change the old style but to upgrade it.

10/08/2024: Unfortunately this place is permanently closed. I used to come here a couple of times a year for dinner and the place was always impeccable clean with very professional and friendly staff. The food was always excellent with large portions. The price of the food was always reasonable. The atmosphere was always elegant, peaceful and almost therapeutic. It had the perfect combination of everything. It was very disappointing to find out today that it was permanently closed and soon to be filled with refugees.

11/10/2024: One of the best and consistent quality food restaurant for a very long time. We go there form Cork city at least every week for years. The place is spotless and the staff are excellent. Properly one of the best Italian Grills, Takeaways in Ireland and the UK.

28/07/2024: Bring back the Ronnie sicks 😫. A Base with garil cheese and covered in tiny pieces of pepperoni, they were the best thing on the menu before the bean counters got a hold of the business. The four seasons pizza 🍕 was also a treasure. Only those at the beginning of Oak Fire Pizza journey had the privilege of tasting that beauty. 😋 Go on, Ronnie, bring them back, ya legend. From the couple who were always in, in Clonakilty and Bandon branches.

10/10/2024: Amazing food and wine, would highly recommend. The fresh made pasta with Italian sausage as a special was amazing perfect portion and light. Garlic bread was one of the best iv ever tasted.

29/09/2024: Great experience in Bruno’s restaurant last night. Very reasonably priced menu and overall lovely evening. We will be back 😊
