07/01/2026: We ordered beef and brocoli and beef was hard that you could't eat it.....

11/10/2025: Awful slow service. Waiting one hour in total for my order. When I rang it in was told half an hour collection. Waited around Youghal, went into collect after 30 mins ended up waiting another half an hour standing in the porch huddled around other customers who were also waiting a ridiculous amount of time. I had 2 young kids with me. Food was only ok. I will not be returning. Panda Cookin in Tallow is far better for service and quality

02/09/2025: Definitely the best supermacs to visit all food is cooked fresh to order.really friendly staff. Definitely worth waiting five or six minutes for perfectly cooked food.

30/11/2025: Soup was chunky flavoured water with hard bread , roast beef was like a ready made meal from centra , no flavour to potatoes and veg was hard

04/02/2026: Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience at this food truck. A simple order of a hamburger with chips took almost 30 minutes with absolutely no one waiting in line – an unnecessary delay. The server was grumpy and looking at his phone while I was trying to place my order, as he wasn't paying any attention to me. I don't recommend it. Note: the hamburger came mixed with the chips inside a box – a complete mess.

14/09/2025: Full of smoke shockingly. My clothes smelt terrible afterwards .. we had to sit outside in the rain in an effort to avoid the smell .

19/08/2025: Stumbled across this gem while walking the Beara Way and it was an absolute treat. The bar has a lovely terrace with views that make the perfect backdrop for a well-earned pint. The staff behind the bar were welcoming, the atmosphere relaxed, and it felt like one of those hidden treasures you’re glad to discover off the beaten path. If you’re passing through this town, don’t miss it, a pint on that terrace is worth the walk alone.

09/02/2026: Disrespectful to the customer. During the meal, the manager started vacuuming the room for 25 minutes. The portions were small, but the food was quite good. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it. It was expensive. We paid almost 50 euros for a meal like that for two people.

11/09/2025: Friendly bar with a chatty bunch of locals. Dosent look like a place for food but I was i pleasantly surprised. Ordered fish and chips. Big white leafy flakes of fresh fish in delicious batter. Chips were good but the atmosphere was great. Id recommend it for food & drink.

28/03/2026: A great bar and restaurant. Our family just spent a couple of evenings in The Townhouse and we were so well looked after. Really lovely food and reasonably priced. We will be back again!

09/11/2025: Would probably be busier if not full of teenagers Who just come and go with sweet and drinks not bought here taking up whole back of shop and staff not paying any attention to this used to come weekly this will be my last time as working all week just looking for a quiet coffee on a Sunday afternoon

08/02/2026: What a lovely spot. Rooms are amazing as are the staff. The Cafe at the entrance is also excellent. Staff, food and atmosphere just lovely. Well worth a visit and stay.

15/01/2026: No hot water, beautiful location with dated rooms (vintage) which is what we expected but no hot water either day and someone entered our room while we were in bed without knocking or being invited in. Not good enough

26/11/2025: The pizza is up there with the best I have ever had , chips are nice and fresh , The can coke was lovely and cold 🥶this place is a 10/10 😁

26/08/2025: Worked a 12 shift today …..had no food was really Hungary…..I tried this place ….had fish and chips…….it was shocking …..has to be the worst fish I’ve eaten on 3 continents….had a strange taste off the fish…….the chips were ok……..one bite of the fish and I knew it was going to be consigned to the dustbin where it belongs………don’t attempt to try the fish at this place…..

10/10/2025: Great cafe and deli. We drop in whenever we can. Good coffee and cakes. Tasty toasted sandwiches. Lovely location. Friendly staff. Great selection of wine, cheeses, honey and chocolates for sale among other things. Highly recommend.

They have no people skills & how to treat customers & don't deserve to be employed in an establishment where there are a variety of customers who these nasty staff think that they can shout at & misbehave with! Ridiculous. 18.3.22 Tasty food & a pleasant waitress with whom a chat was had about unpleasant & cold staff who do no justice to the Cafe nor the hospitality business! 4.9.22 Tasty food & slightly better service. 2.11.22 Tasty food & friendly service by the owner as well. 11.11.22 Tasty food but has now started charging for small pots of sauces! However with washbasins that are overflowing with water 💧! 2.2.25 Tasty food of mixed meat 🍖, scrambled eggs 🥚 & Udon Noodles 🍜 served by friendly staff & owner manager. 23.4.25 Tasty mixed meat ( which could have been softer!) with scrambled eggs & ho-fun noodles served by friendly & accomodating staff in a clean environment. However, some crooked customers seem to order a lot of food which they can't possibly finish & then want to leave without paying! 22.9.25 Tasty food & soups served by friendly staff who however seem to get the orders mixed up! 6.11.25 Tasty mixed meat & hofun noodles which could have been spicier served by friendly staff in a clean environment . 5.2.26 Tasty Laksa noodle soup , Sweet & Sour Pork with Fried Rice & Diet Coke with ice & lemon served by friendly staff in a clean environment. Beware of the charge for takeaway containers & the unpleasant cashier whose attitude will never change & because of whom you don't want to give a tip! 28.3.26 Tasty Mixed meat with ho-fun noodles & scrambled eggs served by friendly staff in a clean environment.

23/03/2026: Lovely choice of freshly baked Cantonese goods and wide variety of cooked dishes and drinks including bubble tea. Enjoyed bbq pork pastry, egg tart, red bean pastry and coconut milk red bean bubble tea. All very tasty and decent value!

12/02/2026: Ordered online, to pay with cash. Spent 15mins trying to pay in the place as their payment system wouldn't work. Offered to go to an ATM etc, to no avail. Gave up and walked out. Complete night and day compared to the one in Douglas.

12/11/2025: Take away pizza ,lovely base ,excellent pizza and the garlic bread is gorgeous
