The best restaurants in Cork

27/08/2025: This is a well run and fantastic location for all your caming needs. The on stie bar has food all evening with live entertainment and friendly staff. The facilities are top class with everything you need. Well done to all involved and I hope to return to the hills of Glengarriff soon. Many thanks Darren Roberts

27/08/2025: The campsite is well-kept and clean. Our expectations were higher based on the reviews and photos. Given the reviews, we thought there would be a restaurant, but there wasn't (August). The campsite is quiet and peaceful. There are no children's games or children's areas (at least not in the area reserved for camper/tent camping). Showers are included in the cost of the pitch. The owner was extremely kind. We had a great time. It was perfect for one night.

22/08/2025: The food is excellent and to our surprise the cost of food is amazing value for money If you're brave enough try billies half pounder You won't need anything else it's huge and full of flavour. Great spot to eat !!!

19/08/2025: Very fast, food was good and good prices. I just always wish when you order something with "melted cheese" that the cheese would actually be melted.

02/09/2025: Popped in for lite lunch. Had the chowder. Good choice. Good staff. Friendly place.

20/07/2025: Went for plants at the garden centre. Very sad plants, which is a shame. Place has become a Meadows and Byrnes which is great if that's what you're looking for.

27/06/2025: I'm very disappointed. It's a confusing menu. Gluten-free options were very limited. Items on the menu were not available. Staff seemed confused and were not helpful.

25/07/2025: Grabbed a quick cappuccino on the go! Yummy! Recommended. The seating is nice too, but we just didn't have time for that.

19/07/2025: Worst place to be for people with colour, as treatment across the other table was way different, women serving most probably manager had really rude behaviour, no patience for kids or customer

01/07/2025: We discovered this wonderful pub during our Ireland road trip and what a fantastic find it was! The Anchor Bar is tucked away on a steep street, well off the beaten tourist path - which is exactly what makes it so special. This is where you experience authentic Irish pub atmosphere: cozy and rustic with beautiful maritime décor that perfectly suits Cobh. But the absolute highlight is the stunning view over the bay - simply breathtaking! The prices are very reasonable and the barkeeper (a genuine Liverpool fan) was incredibly warm and welcoming. We had wonderful conversations not only with him but also with the other locals - these are the moments that create the best travel memories. Anyone visiting Cobh who wants to experience an authentic Irish pub away from the tourist crowds should definitely stop by here. Highly recommended!

14/09/2025: Here with my wife and 2 kids Duck sent back inedible I had chicken and prawns with noodles the chicken was from last Sunday special and the prawns were like wooden stuff the noodles were ok Overall the experience was very bad

14/06/2025: The room was dirty and there were cobwebs on the walls. The food was very good but the service and waiting time were too long. I was there several times and each time the older lady who served us tried to inflate the bill. Three times in a row they tried to cheat us on the bill. The last time I was there.

08/07/2025: Great pub. Fun atmosphere and the landlord it the salt of the earth. A must if you visit Bantry.

27/05/2025: We were in Bantry a couple of years ago. My brother and I stopped in while our wives were shopping. We had a couple of pints and struck up a conversation with the barkeep. He had spent the summer in California. Nice way to spend an afternoon.
