27/10/2025: Best chip shop EVER LOVE LOCE LOVE LOVEEEEEEEE however do not like how they knew my order the second I walked in. Was kinda humbling so will have to take a break from coming here

14/09/2025: Full of smoke shockingly. My clothes smelt terrible afterwards .. we had to sit outside in the rain in an effort to avoid the smell .

19/08/2025: Stumbled across this gem while walking the Beara Way and it was an absolute treat. The bar has a lovely terrace with views that make the perfect backdrop for a well-earned pint. The staff behind the bar were welcoming, the atmosphere relaxed, and it felt like one of those hidden treasures you’re glad to discover off the beaten path. If you’re passing through this town, don’t miss it, a pint on that terrace is worth the walk alone.

18/10/2025: We went in for 2 and I think we had 10🤣 The lad playing music on the Thursday night was really enjoyable. Brilliant pub can't wait to get back

10/10/2025: Great cafe and deli. We drop in whenever we can. Good coffee and cakes. Tasty toasted sandwiches. Lovely location. Friendly staff. Great selection of wine, cheeses, honey and chocolates for sale among other things. Highly recommend.

27/12/2025: Food not great the hotel needs Upgrade and more staff at parties and weddings . They give a resent glass of wine . Good location right in the middle of Bandon Kid friendly I am sure it’s great value

27/08/2025: This is a well run and fantastic location for all your caming needs. The on stie bar has food all evening with live entertainment and friendly staff. The facilities are top class with everything you need. Well done to all involved and I hope to return to the hills of Glengarriff soon. Many thanks Darren Roberts

27/08/2025: The campsite is well-kept and clean. Our expectations were higher based on the reviews and photos. Given the reviews, we thought there would be a restaurant, but there wasn't (August). The campsite is quiet and peaceful. There are no children's games or children's areas (at least not in the area reserved for camper/tent camping). Showers are included in the cost of the pitch. The owner was extremely kind. We had a great time. It was perfect for one night.

14/04/2026: 1st time using China Kitchen, quick service, excellent food and very reasonable price. Highly recommended, will definitely be back.

12/05/2026: Do not stay here. This may have been a decent place at one time. We checked in and realized there was no running water in the bathroom, June said it would be fixed we took her at her word, it never was addressed. We got back from dinner did have cold running water only. Asked for a refund for the second night of our non cancelable reservation. House Manager Nicole offered a future free stay, no thank you. Cafe was nice on the first floor great for coffee as we ran from The Old Bank.

13/04/2026: Wonderful place to stay and incredible breakfast. Porridge was fantastic and the eggs Benedict were off the charts.

10/03/2026: Very disappointed with our recent experience. During the last Bank Holiday we both got food poisoning after eating chicken from this place, not only me, but my fiancé as well. Since moving to Bandon we had been ordering from here regularly and always hoped for the best, but this incident was extremely worrying and unacceptable. Food safety should be a priority. Unfortunately after this experience we will definitely not be ordering from here again.

10/06/2025: Went here for lunch Sunday with my two children. Tried the carvery which I have to say was very nice. My children ordered Goujons and Chips from the Kids menu. In fairness their portion size was good but they did not like the Goujons themselves. I tried a piece of one and I found it to be a little tasteless. On a positive note the waitress who served us was lovely and great talking to the kids however the the person serving the carvery was engaging in a very loud conversation with other staff and using colourful language. My children noticed this and were a bit upset talking about it afterwards. While this language is probably acceptable for a bar setting on a Saturday night it was inappropriate in front of children and really unprofessional for someone serving front of house. So a mixed bag really. Good solid Carvery and lovely waitress but disappointing kids food and an unprofessional member of staff.
