30/10/2024: Restaurant was very dated and seats were extremely tatty with sellotape holding them together and uncomfortable, seating below the table to eat ..food was tasteless and curry very watery with not alot of meat in the dish .quite expensive for what you get served small portions

17/09/2024: Lovely food, great atmosphere from the Chinese soothing music to the very friendly and helpful staff, definitely worth a visit....you won't be hungry leaving decent portion sizes.

04/11/2024: The food was very good, what I liked most was the service, attentive and fast. Maybe when I went it wasn't the best day because there weren't many people so it was very quiet. The site has incredible views. Perfect!!

29/10/2024: Loved this place so much I will be going back as soon as I get a few days off. The oysters from Sherkin were honestly the best I’ve had ever. I was staying in the hotel attached to the restaurant and the breakfast room is actually probably the nicest place I’ve been in. Staff so friendly and just overall brilliant place. Can’t wait to go back.

28/10/2024: Four of us had food here, soup to start, chicken noodle, so tasty, then mussels, gorgeous cod, pizza, bread and proper chips. Fantastic food and relaxed place.

22/08/2024: We ate scones and cinemon buns for breakfast and sat on the chairs in the alley in front of the bakery. The baker was very nice and accommodating and the baked goods were delicious :)

25/09/2024: Nice pub, pity about the absolute pr**k of an owner. After speaking in other pubs I found out most of the people in Kinsale feel the same about him. Hamlets pub nextdoor is a by far nicer pub.

07/11/2024: Myself, my husband and our 2.5 year old stopped in for a quick soup while out running errands. The barman was very attentive making sure our little fella was well looked after too. We had a veg soup and chips. Soups was really tasty and not like the imitation baby food ya get in most places. The chips were skin on skinny chip with a decent amount too. They were great. My husband loved the MUG of great coffee. They pull a good pint too.

26/10/2024: Friendly staff, large portion, We had scampi for mains and fish and chips, slightly overcooked but still tasty, had chocolate brownie for dessert- not recommend Cons- the material on the chairs are filthy dirty White House wine delicious

18/11/2024: We’re a group of friends from Barcelona who came to visit another friend living here in Ireland. She surprised us with a dinner at what she called one of the best restaurants in County Cork. And let me say, it was a very pleasant surprise because we had an amazing time. The restaurant is a bit outside the city, in a peaceful and idyllic setting, yet still close enough – we got there in just 20 minutes. The food? Absolutely spectacular. I’ve never had a sole that size before, and it was cooked to perfection, so tender it felt like a sponge. We also had hake, which was delicious. The side plates of vegetables were spot-on, cooked to the perfect texture. Everything was just flawless – too perfect, even. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such authentic fish for dinner. We also tried oysters, which were heavenly, and chicken pâté with avocado and crab. Everything was a solid 10, truly. I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like I had to this time because it was genuinely one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was also authentically Irish, and the owners – I don’t even know what to say – were incredibly friendly and attentive. They felt like real friends, making you feel at home, as if you’d known them forever. When we return to Ireland, we will absolutely be coming back.

19/07/2024: A most memorable Friday night If you want a magical experience..Finders ..If you could rate a restaurant experience at 6 stars or more..it's in Nohaval .The kind warm welcome from the proprietors..the food..the music...the people..the setting ..the finer details.It exudes elegance in every manner Huge respect to the owners for coming back even stronger after surviving pandemic .

19/10/2024: Lovely homely place.food of very good standard ..friendly staff.parking.you can visit the lovely Lepp falls just outside lots of history reading and spot a few fairy houses.good clean bathroom.

04/08/2024: The mattress is extremely uncomfortable, sagging in the middle, we didn't have a good night sleep, waking up from back pain and discomfort. The shower is also very unreliable, you either get burnt or cold, there was no way of adjusting the water temperature, so I ended up not having a shower on the last day. There are no hooks in the bathroom to hang up your towel so the only way is to put it on the toilet or ask someone to hand it to you! Mouldy around the shower base. This review is for room number 1.

20/10/2024: I like interior design,coffee & tea great,food is tasty.€3 for Apple pie slice is steep. It's a good coffee shop. Latest stop & very friendly chatty staff,food n drinks great.Scone today was a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ treat for the tastebuds! Latest visit September 2021 there is a new outdoor area.All good.
