05/05/2025: Stayed here for a night with my family. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy.10 min walk to the titanic experience and the Spike Island tours.

19/05/2025: Plenty of car parking. Food selection is good and tasty. Really needs to work on its efficiency in dealing with waiting customers. This is now the second visit in a row where the time taken from joining the queue, and not even a big one, to be able to pay for the order has been at least 15 mins. When the order for hot food is taken it gets sent off to the kitchen to be prepared. There is no-one seemingly in charge of drinks and cakes. It is only when you get to the till that the cashier then becomes aware of it and leaves the till to fill those orders. I did count 9 people behind the counter today, Surely one could have been at the cake stand to fill those orders and another one at the coffee machine doing hot drinks to help the queue of customers get served faster. One thing that did strike was the younger ages of the staff today and this may just be a part-time job for them. The overall impression I got was that there were no members of management about. I did notice they were advertising for more staff. This isn't necesarily about needing people to work harder, just to work smarter. Hoping for an improvement next time.

19/02/2025: Absolutely tasty Chinese food. Food: if you like the chef to spice up your food, you can let the staff know and they would happily customise the spice level for your food. We had ordered black pepper chicken with prawns fried rice and chicken fried rice, hot and sour chicken soup and chicken wings. Every dish was delicious Service: quick Ambience: cozy

11/07/2025: Lovely Italian restaurant, beautiful bruschettas, we'd 2 arrabbiata, 2 pizzas and 1 lasagna, not 1 crumb left! Epic homemade garlic bread. Great service and we'd a lovely chat with the chef/owner and our waitress in the end, super friendly.

11/07/2025: A truly charming and authentic Italian restaurant where you instantly feel welcome and at ease. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a homely touch that makes you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. We were lucky enough to meet the owner, a genuinely lovely person whose warmth and passion for what he does really stand out. The food was delicious, the service kind and attentive. A hidden gem we’ll definitely come back to.

22/06/2025: Looks like great technique and very pretty food , if a bit of a “ mousse” overload . Nice interior. Service was good. Food was … terrible to be honest. Poorly put together tastes. Too salty . Too Smokey . Too sharp . In short … unbalanced . Really didn’t enjoy the meal at all . Also at more than 100 euro a seat …. It was a rip off. Who the hell smokes a beautiful piece of halibut !!!! Poor .

25/05/2025: Rare indeed. Simply the finest meal in my 76 years on this planet. Pierre our host and sommelier was the epitome of gracious and knowledgeable. As a wine geek he answered every question about our five wines in depth. We had 7 courses and 18 separate tastes. The base of the menu is seafood with South Indian spices. Chef Meeran is classically trained in London but in the last two years has added his expertise in Indian spices. The result is out of this world. We feel blessed that we were able to get a booking at the last minute. Our guide books said Kinsale was a foodie heaven. I concur. The trout main dish was smoked in South Indian spices with a heavenly sauce. The tasting menu changes daily as does the wine pairings to match the courses.
