24/08/2025: The beef burger off the kids menu was dreadful. My son said he didn't like it so I tried it. It was terrible. Mentioned it to waiter at end of meal. When she returned she said the chef said there was nothing wrong with it!!! They didn't charge for it. All the other food was good.

12/12/2025: While the place is generally great value and the chips my favorite of anywhere the deluxe burger I got was fairly pathetic, I could have made a better burger with my eyes closed, please up the quality for next time 🙏

17/11/2025: Food is gorgeous. I got a mini breakfast for €10. Very filling and served hot. Great value for money. The staff are very friendly. That was my third time there and will definitely be back.

04/11/2025: Even though the setting is pleasant, the service is far from commensurate with the prices charged at this establishment... From the appetizer to the dessert, everything is just okay, and even less so when it comes to one of their specialties, the meat, which they don't seem to know how to cook properly... what a shame... only the slideshow (not included) allowed me to travel a little... One star nonetheless for the person who served us, who was very friendly and professional. I don't understand the other reviews; the 5 stars are not deserved given the quality/price ratio... I won't be going back.

29/08/2025: The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. The food is delicious, I’ve had my daily sausage roll with marmalade and it doesn’t disappoint! Various varieties. More seating would be nice, but no t a deal breaker.

27/08/2025: Best matcha I've had in Dublin (and I have had a lot of matcha :)). It's so sweet! Lovely with oat milk. Staff super friendly and attentive also.

15/11/2025: A Truly Wonderful Dining Experience at Hong Kong (Fermoy) My recent visit to Hong Kong Chinese restaurant in Fermoy was absolutely fantastic and highly recommended! We were a large group of nine, including an infant, and the staff handled our party with genuine warmth and efficiency, making us feel completely at home. The service was a highlight—friendly, attentive, and perfectly paced. We never felt rushed between courses, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy our evening together. The food was uniformly delicious, but the Set Menu B was a standout choice. The beef dish was truly exceptional, cooked to perfection with a depth of flavor that was out of this world. For anyone in the Fermoy area looking for top-tier Chinese cuisine served with excellent, friendly service, you must visit Hong Kong. We're already looking forward to our next meal here!

20/09/2025: One of thd best Chinese takeaways in town absolutely flavour bomb got the munchbox 12inch they pack it with salt chili chicken fries riblets bit of chicken balls and curry sauce don't forget to get pork fried rice it's Fire ask for extra seasoning!! Would come back Thanks for the great food!!

04/09/2025: Feel a bit wrong reviewing as we rushed through, but it appeared as if it had Beamish!! Signs for Beamish, Murphys and Guinness, so your 3 major Irish stouts. Was a biker group and whole town was packed so we didnt get a chance to stop. Charming little town though! 2:30pm on a Sunday, August 24 2025.

03/08/2025: Under new ownership and renamed as Beal Blasta. Had a green veg and feta frittata with a mix of salads. Wonderful fresh and tasty food and great coffee.

15/09/2025: Friendly gallery with artworks of local, national and international significance. Overheard a very knowledgeable guide as we were leaving, do we'll need to spend longer there next time we visit!

25/06/2025: Very detailed account of The Famine, so pretty harrowing in places. Also contains information on the nature reserve, as well as a decent gift shop.
