28/12/2024: Great pub with nice friendly staff always nice to relax here with friends and has great live music at times all I would say is the security guard with the tattoos has an attitude problem and is rude to almost everyone that goes in the door...with better security staff this place would be 5 star!

07/01/2025: Had the children's party there, they have a good place, clean and with good options for food and the trip at the train around the farm to see the animals we're the cherry on top.

12/05/2025: One morning, following instructions on the website we tried to book a table for the evening. We had no reply so emailed to cancel (we hate no shows) to be told we should have gone to the website to book ! Ironic ehhh. A few days later we dropped in to have a coffee but were so dismayed with formal signs with words such as Pleased be informed …. Please wait to be seated … no one appeared to sit us. It felt like stuffy language and no service so we left.

04/05/2025: Prepare to be disappointed. We went for lunch, and sat outside, only to be told that they don't serve lunch at the particular table we were sitting at even though there was a QR code to allow ordering. They dont take bookings for outside and said they were fully booked, so we went elsewhere. When we passed later we were shocked to see another party sitting at the very same table being served food!!??

02/10/2024: Made a booking online then turned up (after driving 20 mins) and they have signs up saying permanently closed…suggest to change the booking system to stop taking bookings

30/09/2024: We ate twice at O’Connor’s whilst visiting Bantry - breakfast and diner - with a large and small family group. Our Aunt Margaret loves O’Connors so we skipped mass and headed over for a hearty breakfast. We had a large crowd over and O’Connor’s, who were very busy, were superb in accommodating our booking. Service was fast and attentive, the staff lovely even though they were rushed off their feet. Luckily Margaret had booked and we saw many people turned away. O’Connor’s is clean and modern, a lovely place that has a great atmosphere and the staff take time to chat, again, despite being busy. Portions are great and because I arrived a little late, the O’Connor’s team sorted me a fantastic gluten free bacon sandwich. A couple of nights later, we went for dinner with a smaller group and it was very good. We sat in the covered area out side and it felt very cosmopolitan, Brilliant restaurant, family friendly and good value. The key selling point is the fantastic staff. I understand it’s up for sale and the challenge for new owners will be matching how good this place is. Lovely people, good food and brilliant service.

05/05/2025: Stayed here for a night with my family. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy.10 min walk to the titanic experience and the Spike Island tours.

01/05/2025: Our family of five and small dog stayed in the lodges in April 2025. The house was extremely well laid out. The children had plenty of space. The area is quiet and close to the town. The kids really enjoyed the stay, commenting on how much they wanted to stay longer and asked if we could come back - we hope to. I recommend this location.

14/04/2025: Had a lovely weekend in one of their pods. Rooms are compact but have everything you need. Very clean too. Great service by natalia. She was Readily available. The place has a serene calm vibe to it. Bring your own food and its a great place enjoy some quality downtime with your family.

13/05/2025: We were in Kinsale for a hen party (a group of 15), and I reached out to Seeds the week before to see if, by any chance, they could help us with breakfast — a mix of sweet and savoury pastries for early Saturday morning. From the very first message, the team couldn’t have been more helpful. The whole process was so easy and stress-free, and everyone I dealt with was just incredibly kind and accommodating. It felt like nothing was too much trouble. The food was absolutely fantastic — fresh, beautifully made, and exactly what we were hoping for. The pastries were devoured in minutes, and to top it off, Ingrid generously included a complimentary loaf of sourdough with our order, which was such a thoughtful touch (and very appreciated once the pastries disappeared!). It honestly made such a difference to our morning — delicious food, lovely people, and the kind of service that really stays with you. 10/10 in every way. So grateful we found this little gem — a beautiful small business doing everything right.

07/05/2025: Absolutely phenomenal service and food bot myself a toastie and it didn't disappoint I saw the full irish from a distance and looked absolutely mouth watering the staff where on point checking in such a warmly feeling and therapeutic garden out the back to sit out and enjoy a coffee I can see they take great pride in there product and I'd highly recommend it to others out there font hesitate to pop In you won't regret 🙌🙌🙌🙌
