02/09/2025: Definitely the best supermacs to visit all food is cooked fresh to order.really friendly staff. Definitely worth waiting five or six minutes for perfectly cooked food.

13/08/2025: First time going and will certainly be back whenever I'm in the area - lived in Mallow for 13 years & never knew it was there until last week! The best carrot cake I've had so far and one of the best coffees too. Staff were super pleasant and the price was reasonable!

06/08/2025: Gougan Wrap was very poor. Wasn’t real chicken and was over €13 a take away inc a coffee.

24/06/2025: Had to wait ages for food that wasn't worth it. Service was super slow, drinks came warm and the only thing they responded was bringing ice cubes. Never again. Edit based on the comment: We didn't have Heineken.

21/08/2025: Had the pleasure of ordering a large number of pizzas from Oak Fire back in July. Our scout troop had just come down from climbing Carrauntoohil, with the late hour and everybody being exhausted, we decided a pizza night was in order. The guys at Oak Fire stayed in the restaurant after closing so we could collect our pizzas after driving back from Kerry. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the pizzas were terrific. There are small gestures that go a very long way and we are very thankful to to the team. Heartily recommend.

20/08/2025: We only had take out. My pizza was good. My daughter, who has food allergies, had a gluten and dairy free option. She thought hers was really, really good. The best Pizza she tasted on our trip to Ireland.

16/08/2025: I have been here every year for the last 3 yrs while attending an event nearby. I have always found staff & patrons to be lovely and friendly. Good if small menu after 6pm. Always enjoyed the pizzas. This year however, my experience was less pleasant with a strong smell of smoke from what seemed to be a smoking area, opening directly into the bar/ lounge? It actually put me off coming again.

13/07/2025: I really enjoyed my stay. I had a lovely room with a beautiful view. There were a few things I would like to advise you on. The breakfast cereals were very few. There was very little to choose from. T here was no milk alongside the cereals. There was no homemade brown bread or other similar items available. The choice of the hot breakfast was very good however there seemed to be a lack of cutlery and napkins on the tables. The quality of the full irish was not great. There was just one server on each morning which was a bit difficult however if more items were available for guests including basic things like cutlery, napkins, bowls were scarce, it could be far more efficient. I overheard a few other guests expressing the same sentiments. I must say my famil joined me for dinner on the 2nd evening and we had a lovely meal. Lastly, a little thing in the bedromms, a box if tissues would be very handy. Thanks. Anne

10/06/2025: Went here for lunch Sunday with my two children. Tried the carvery which I have to say was very nice. My children ordered Goujons and Chips from the Kids menu. In fairness their portion size was good but they did not like the Goujons themselves. I tried a piece of one and I found it to be a little tasteless. On a positive note the waitress who served us was lovely and great talking to the kids however the the person serving the carvery was engaging in a very loud conversation with other staff and using colourful language. My children noticed this and were a bit upset talking about it afterwards. While this language is probably acceptable for a bar setting on a Saturday night it was inappropriate in front of children and really unprofessional for someone serving front of house. So a mixed bag really. Good solid Carvery and lovely waitress but disappointing kids food and an unprofessional member of staff.

22/07/2025: It was a special experience. So much courtesy and attention 🥰. All the chairs had red hats and cloth napkins. The entire ambiance truly deserves its 5 stars. Rice was brought separately and half was placed on our plates. The food was exactly as we requested. Delicious and fresh. Highly recommended!

04/07/2025: The food was so good it only takes 10 minutes it was so worth it it was still hot when we went to mitchelstown the staff are so nice 10 stars restaurant amazing delicious

31/08/2025: Fish and chips were good, plenty of them but the wait was horrendous! People queueing for 30-40 mins for food despite plenty behind the counter, don't know why there was such a delay!

31/08/2025: Very friendly chippy:) First time I had curry sauce with my chips;) Cod was too soft/ mushy, lacked the traditional texture, batter too oily.

14/09/2025: Here with my wife and 2 kids Duck sent back inedible I had chicken and prawns with noodles the chicken was from last Sunday special and the prawns were like wooden stuff the noodles were ok Overall the experience was very bad

24/08/2025: Almost €23 for fish (cod) chips peas Pepsi max and a bottle of water. Can't blame the takeaway it's the cost of living today that's the problem. The service here was super quick and the cod was cooked very well nice and flakey falling apart nicely. Batter could be a little bit less crispy at the ends. I suppose it just depends on how it's dipped. The food was delicious no oil or grease and the chips were big chunky soft and filling cooked brilliantly. Nice portion of large fresh peas in a bowl as a side. Prices are high but you can't rate the food, service and quality on the cost of living here in Ireland that we are all suffering with. Very busy nice table service and also the takeaway option has lots of selections. Great food portions and a very tasty meal.
