13/07/2025: Probably the best Scone I’ve ever eaten. It was that good.

21/04/2025: Menu is simple but sometimes the simplest of experiences are the best. Wow, was it tasty and fresh. You simply have to have a hot ham and cheese croissant with relish and the warm ham and cheese scones ( yes scones) with relish as well. Desert wise the warm apple pie with ice cream, the moist carrot cake and the apple and cinnamon crumble were just delicious. Prices were reasonable and what a great environment, nestled in the Cobh heritage centre, near Cobh train station. Special thank you Donna and Ashley for looking after us.

23/06/2025: Incredible place. But a stifling hot room - with heating on and, madder still, fires lit at midsummer - meant that we couldn’t sleep and ended up walking around the grounds until 2am (which was magical). Coupled with disorganisation and poor communication with and between the staff meant for a chaotic stay. At this price it should be perfect. I offered the opportunity to discuss privately with a manager, but they never called back.

02/06/2025: Food was good. Extremely long wait time unfortunately . Servers were delightful but the female senior staff was micromanaging the servers in front of tables including ours, which was shocking to see as the floor staff seemed under pressure and were doing their best. Disappointed.

26/06/2025: Very lively campsite on a Saturday with a great pub in the middle. With our bikes, we were able to pitch our tent in a quiet spot. A little pricey, but a great experience.

10/06/2025: Stopped after a long cycle looking to pay only for a shower. The owner saw an opportunity to overcharge us. He was rude and dismissive and charged us more than the cost of an overnight stay.

22/07/2025: Great pub .was in there on Monday. Lovely staff ,great food .went back on tues great staff on again .had food .it was lovely .went outside for a drink came back in was having drink when we were rather abruptly told no dogs allowed on seats.I pointed out there was no problem yesterday or today untill staff changed .I believe it was some one trying to impress her three local buddies in bar .after spending over 150 euro here in last two days .I will not be returning.This pub was ruined for us by a over zealous bar person .Her attitude was horrible.perhaps thats why there was only 3 customers there.when this person was working .As a regular visitor to clon I will not be going here again.Thank God there in plenty pubs with lovely staff.Time of arrogant, horrible staff member was 5 pm Tues 22 July 25

30/05/2025: Very nice pub. Cant fault the place

19/02/2025: Seating available inside and outside. Dine in and takeout available. Food was really good and coffee and pastries tasted fresh and delicious. Free parking lot available not to far away.

26/01/2025: We had coffee and hot chocolate and everything was very good. The waitresses are very friendly. Charleville is a nice town to stop over.

20/07/2025: I ve eaten in gregs for years, I m 2.5 miles outside town and the delivery charge is 10 euro up from 5 like the other takeaway

14/06/2025: Great takeaway ( limited eat on site ) Asian street food - v busy and does a great 7 before 7 menu We usually get the flaming hot stir fry with a starter Portions are very good for sharing Also like the Thai green and masaman curries

27/06/2025: Great little cafe for breakfast or lunch, or a cup of coffee with a scone. Simple, not expensive, very tasty, fast service. As tourists had a breakfast here for 8.95€ plus a cup of coffee. Tasted the black and white pudding for the first time. It was quite busy, but a table just became available. Service was fast, it flowed well.
