08/07/2025: Lovely place in centre of Kanturk, delicious food and friendly staff ❣️

08/07/2025: We popped in for the first time today. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxed. It is the perfect lunch spot! I'll definitely return to try some of the coffee drinks, the sweets, and some of the other lunch options.

06/07/2025: food is overpriced and greasy. you don’t get what you pay for whatsoever. service is slow and working space looks dirty and unsanitary. floors are greasy and dirty. some foods are tasty however the grease is too overpowering

30/06/2025: Was here earlier tonight, had the duck rolls and massaman curry. Dreadful food, massaman curry looked like baby food. Was starving after working through lunch and had a 3hr drive back to Dublin so I picked out the chicken pieces, ate some chips and a few bites of the rolls... Only because I was starving. Chef should be ashamed to serve that slop and ask for money.

19/02/2025: Seating available inside and outside. Dine in and takeout available. Food was really good and coffee and pastries tasted fresh and delicious. Free parking lot available not to far away.

26/01/2025: We had coffee and hot chocolate, and everything was great. The waitresses were very friendly. Charleville is a pretty town to stop by.

26/08/2025: I was there last Friday have to say really enjoy it the Black and White pudding in tomato chunky was lovely would love the recipe to that..The Black Sole was amazing as was the icecream sunday..Hopefully be back for more..

03/08/2025: A two-story Irish pub with a great atmosphere. The food is plentiful and very good, especially the burger. Reasonable prices. Good service. I recommend it!

15/09/2025: There were four of us and we were shown to a table after a short wait. The view of the sea was lovely, the interior was fine, although a bit worn in places. The food depended on what you got; it ranged from perfectly good to unseasoned. The Chicken Supreme was okay, and the pike was also okay, although unfortunately, the fish in the fish and chips was very bland. Unfortunately, the service wasn't very attentive: we were never asked if everything was OK, we had to be reminded twice about the bill, and the waitress didn't seem very welcoming either. It's a shame, our expectations were higher; we won't be coming back.

12/10/2024: Fabulous dining experience, full house on a Saturday night provided for a lovely atmosphere helped by laid back, pleasant, friendly staff who were well trained and super at what they do. Great building with old style large shopfront windows. BYO policy at no extra charge which is pretty unique! Every dish was fresh & delicious, mussels, sea bream, haddock, beef all cooked and presented to perfection. Totally enjoyable evening finished off nicely with a reasonable bill. Definitely recommend.

16/09/2024: Fabulous restaurant in the picturesque setting of Rosscarbery village with large windows to take it in and we had the perfect table inside the window to enjoy it. We were advised on arrival of the BYO policy with local pubs happily allowing takeaway drinks to the restaurant or shop with off licence a few doors away. Complimentary delicious bread was served immediately which is becoming more of a rarity. The BYO is also complimentary even though they chill your beers and supply wine coolers and glasses at your table. We started with mussels and portobello mushrooms, our mains included haddock, crayfish & a slow cooked beef pasta dish finishing off with yummy desserts. Each dish and mouthful was cooked to perfection and so flavoursome. Roast veg were served with mains, water bowls not forgotten with mussels, food and service was perfection. Finally the dreaded part……the bill but this was almost as good as the food!!! This restaurant is extremely well priced, something we don’t see these days…….value for money offering superb quality food and pleasant service in a really nice atmosphere makes for a night out that you’ll want to and can afford to repeat several times. Highly highly recommend.

15/07/2025: I walked in here to take a quick look at a hurling match while waiting for the bus and as soon as I came in the door the owner switched the chanel straight away so I couldn't watch it, I then went back outside for a minute, next thing this man is standing at the door I asked can I go in he asks me am I buying a drink which I said no I wanted to use the bathroom as I was waiting for the bus and He says no there's a public one over there, I didn't have change and I couldn't use the bathroom he then proceeds to stare uncomfortably at me and my girlfriend while we're waiting for the bus and we quickly threw him a dirty look because his attitude was just so rude I wouldn't advise anyone to come here and waste their money on someone like that

25/08/2025: We and our dog were warmly welcomed, and the food was delicious. We've been here several times, as dogs aren't allowed in the area. We were delighted with the lovely cake buffet and the food.

10/08/2025: Really enjoyed the food here, large portions, good prices, very friendly. Dog friendly also. We would definitely call again.
