The best restaurants in Cork

04/06/2026: We stayed in the cottages. They are spacious and have great views, but they are dated and a bit worn out. Lots of stuff didn't work properly (shower, dishwasher, smart tv). It is very basic accommodation in the cottages, but if you accept and expect this, there is plenty to enjoy here. Staff at the bar and restaurant were great. We also loved the location. Very peaceful and scenic.

We received an incredibly warm welcome upon arrival. Our room was fantastic: spacious, spotlessly clean, and with a cozy, typically Irish charm that immediately made us feel at home. This room definitely deserves more stars! We also tried the hotel's restaurant and were delighted. The service was exceptionally warm and attentive, and the food was simply outstanding. In short: A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We would book this hotel again in a heartbeat – next time definitely for several days or even a whole week! 15/09/2026: Breakfast served all day. I ordered 3p.m and it was very fresh. Nice place.

26/08/2026: Went in here to get food and kill some time while waiting for a prescription from the chemist across the road. Although we were waiting a few minutes to take our order the food cane quickly and it was delicious. I'd definitely go again l

04/07/2026: Everytime I want to get takeaway in fermoy , I just blindly choose this place because of how deliciously they do every dish here! Absolutely delectable sauces and the meat tastes amazing too! In love with their Kung Pao Chicken, Amber stir fried chicken and salt and pepper prawns ✨🥹🫶🏼 the lady at the reception is the kindest too! Love love love how amazing this place is as compared to the one down the hill .

07/04/2026: I've always had great fondness for this shop and I hope the future is bright for it. Having said that, every time I go in lately there's been less and less on sale. No soup of the day, no wines to browse, none of a particular high-end frozen pizza that I became a fan of - and today evidently no ice-cream for sale at all! So I report with sadness that I often come away empty-handed of late.

24/07/2026: Great place to relax and have a drink. We perhaps made a wrong choice of Irish Coffee - not a fan, but don’t think that’s about this bar in particular. Having said that, great staff and service who went the extra mile to get us our order. Decent seating space inside and a patio outside where people relaxed. If you have a car, then you can park along the street. Definitely recommended.
