Had a killer homemade pizza with a selection of meats & apple jam...delicious! Would definitely recommend this spot!

23/08/2025: Ordered an oat matcha, was handed one with cows milk. I noticed the odd taste straight away. After I asked for another one, the matcha they handed me was brown and only tasted of syrup. Very disappointing.

14/07/2025: Lovely cookie hot chocolate and a big one too, had a nice apple tart also. The place is nice and quiet when I visited and service was good.

23/11/2025: I recommend it for families with children. The food is good, the rooms are nice, and the bunk beds are great for kids. There are plenty of attractions for children at the resort.

23/06/2025: We had a rather mixed experience for dinner. When making the booking I had requested a table around 7pm but was told there was a big group coming in at that time and we could only be accommodated at 6pm. When we arrived we were the only people in the restaurant and when we left it was still very empty. We were seated in a section of the restaurant on our own which meant the atmosphere was unfortunately very lacking. The food was good but not fantastic in my opinion; the vegetables in particular were over cooked and mushy (courgettes and peppers) and the potatoes were just ok. There's beautiful fresh produce in West Cork, particularly in summer, and it was shame not to see this reflected on the plates. The fish and venison which we had were very nice. The location and grounds are beautiful.

25/08/2025: Great service as always, food is fabulous, well worth a vist. (not just pub grub, it's restaurant quality), not local but been coming here for nearly 20 years when west along, its always a good place top stop

10/08/2025: Make sure when you book for dinner that you check they have written it down in the book. We showed up with a big party - having booked a month in advance - and were turned away with the implication that we had made it up. No apology - somewhat lacking in people skills.

02/11/2025: The restaurant owner was very friendly and didn't discriminate against me because I had less money. Everyone can eat here if they're passing by; accommodation is also available.

23/11/2025: Great place if you’re craving a nice and sweet breakfast! I absolutely love their huge pancakes. The girls that work there are very nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place.
