04/06/2025: Great hotel with such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and an amazing view. We loved the bunk bed in our room—it was a fun touch! We also took a walk up the hill to the square behind the hotel—what a magical place. The food was absolutely incredible, only topped by the amazingly attentive service. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

29/05/2025: Let me tell you something about this hotel. It may look very clean and like they've won cleaning awards or something, but that has nothing to do with reality. I saw them using the same dirty towels from the rooms to clean the bathtubs, toilets, and mirrors. The complimentary water they provide in the room is always refilled at the bathroom faucet, and I thought I saw one of their employees drinking straight from the bottle the other day. Not to mention the dust on top of the closets and the stained mattresses... 4 star hotel.. i dont think so...

30/03/2025: I try not to give bad reviews,i know people are busy today. Small portions. Very slow service. Order mix up . We asked for the bill three times. We won't be back .

15/03/2025: Tried to use the dial in service rang twice and was put on hold for 5 minutes each time. During this time I could overhear staff and customer conversations. Might be better if you attend in person but there is the potential for your conversation to be overheard. So choose your words and who you talk about wisely.

02/02/2025: Food actually wasn’t bad, the lady at front of house was. Ordered our food and 2 cans of coke which were out of date with a month, when I told the lady that I am pregnant and she sold them which were out of date she goes sorry do you want another one- didn’t seem genuine pretended like she didn’t know they were gone off and still didn’t take them out of the fridge! Won’t be the last they’re hearing from me if I get sick… careful lads what else is out of date in there… turned me off going back

We had Black Cherry Gelato, Oreo Gelato, Kinder Bueno milkshake and a Caramel milkshake and they just tasted amazing, weren't expecting the flavours to be as nice as they were and for a reasonable price too! Cheaper than the ice cream van and 100x better! Staff were pleasant and helpful and wished us a lovely day ☺️

06/09/2024: I had the pleasure of visiting O Regan's bar last night, Thursday the 5th of September. Great atmosphere and nice decor. Very friendly staff and good beverages. Pop in for a pint and a chat. You won't be disappointed. 10/10

04/05/2025: There is so much food to choose from and the place was always busy. Depends on what you have and what your tastes are, but we each had a good dish and enjoyed ourselves very much.

25/05/2025: Rare indeed. Simply the finest meal in my 76 years on this planet. Pierre our host and sommelier was the epitome of gracious and knowledgeable. As a wine geek he answered every question about our five wines in depth. We had 7 courses and 18 separate tastes. The base of the menu is seafood with South Indian spices. Chef Meeran is classically trained in London but in the last two years has added his expertise in Indian spices. The result is out of this world. We feel blessed that we were able to get a booking at the last minute. Our guide books said Kinsale was a foodie heaven. I concur. The trout main dish was smoked in South Indian spices with a heavenly sauce. The tasting menu changes daily as does the wine pairings to match the courses.
