18/04/2026: Always a pleasure dealing with Paul, Lynda and all of the staff at Botanics. They always go above and beyond. The plants are excellent quality and I have gotten great help and advice on how to keep them alive, considering I was a plant killer in the past.

01/05/2026: Delicious fresh food, nice choice for lunch. I’m usually in a hurry so it’s a place I can get served quickly. They have a good choice of light food which is great if you’ve to go back to work after as I do! Love the antique furniture and atmosphere.

09/05/2026: Certain members of staff here are very careless and share conflicting information about gluten free about the products available etc. it is vital that they are careful with this or they will make someone very unwell. Visited on afternoon of 9th.

12/04/2026: A finely run and friendly family establishment, a fantastic pint, great crack with the bar staff. All sport show on the numerous televisions. Always welcomed and mighty banter to be had with all the customers and staff.

27/06/2026: We were passing through and stopped for a coffee. The service was excellent, the staff incredibly friendly, especially Eduardo. He was very attentive, gave us recommendations, and offered to help us with everything. We will definitely return and order from this place again; we were left wanting to try the food and desserts.

29/03/2026: A very warm welcome! We loved meeting the owners. They were so kind to us during a short break on our road trip. We were able to enjoy their lovely sunny terrace. Thank you again for your hospitality! :)

17/03/2026: We had a fantastic experience with DUNES BAR & BISTRO AT INCHYDONEY ISLAND LODGE & SPA. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming ( espescially Sinead), and the service was quick without feeling rushed. The food was absolutely delicious – the Irish chowder was excellent, but the real highlight was the soda bread served with it… honestly the best! The desserts were also amazing and the perfect way to finish the meal. This wasn’t our first visit, and it definitely won’t be our last. Highly recommended!

07/06/2026: We visited this pub during a music festival in this small village. It was around 10 p.m. We didn’t realize there was a policy against outside food, because the pub next door actually allows it. We bought drinks inside, so we were supporting them, and we were quietly sitting in the back with 16 empty tables around us (I counted them). However, after we finished, the woman spotted the food box and began scolding us. We apologized immediately but she kept saying things like it was "very cheeky" and that we "wouldn't do that in Cork city." I would have understood completely if she had just come over, explained the policy, and politely asked us to leave, or to don't repeat it. Instead, she continued standing over us and staring at us long after we apologized for the mistake/misunderstanding. We finished our drinks and left. Even when I acknowledge we made a mistake, there are plenty of ways to treat customers, and this is not an acceptable one. We felt very unwelcome, and we won’t be returning.

05/06/2026: Stayed here for 1 night , if it wasnt for the moslty friendly staff it be gettng 1 star. Food is by far very poor. I was with 2 others and said same .says fresh fish ! Frozen cheap pieces frozen chips. And desert says handmade. Same frozen tarts .and cold. And for this muck it taken ages come out. Really get rid chefs if they in charge Food. My child would make better
