26/07/2026: Great food. Great service. Well worth stopping here

21/07/2026: Very boring selection of food. Not showing of any of the wonderful Irish food available. Had to send chips back as they were freezing cold. Found the place soulless.

28/09/2026: Wonderful pizza. Quick service. Nearby generators sound and smoke is a bit high to sit and enjoy the pizza. Margherita pizza tastes good. Make sure you eat it when its hot.

08/10/2026: We each had the chicken curry. What can we say? The chicken breast was cooked to perfection, and the curry was absolutely delicious! It had a subtle, mild spiciness (which I love) and was served with fresh coriander (which I also love). The staff were incredibly friendly, and we could even pay separately, which isn't often the case in Ireland (or the UK) – at least that's been my experience so far. I highly recommend Bob's Burger! But try it for yourselves if you're ever in Kanturk ;-)

14/08/2026: There were only two of us. Everything was spot on. Fine big portions and very reasonable priced. The place was lovely and clean, staff were excellent and most importantly, knew what they were doing. We'll be back soon.

03/09/2026: The pub has a prime spot on the main road. There is a large inside space, and seating outside as well. We sat outside in the sun but the benches and the table would benefit from a tidy-up, a spruce-up. A sweep of the cigarette ends too. It was a little unkempt. However most importantly the beamish was tasty, and there is a pool table and it was useable.

31/08/2026: We stayed in Glengarriff for a week and adopted this pub. Lovely staff and a great pint of Beamish or Smithwicks. There was music on every night from a variety of talented musicians, both traditional Irish and modern.

08/09/2026: Very friendly couldn’t do enough for us! yummy pizza and spice box. Would defo recommend and we will be back!

29/08/2026: Ordered food asked for just ketchup on the food when I got home there was ketchup and garlic mayo it, even tho it clearly said on the recipe and was highlighted on it only ketchup after having 2 go back with the food all i got wa a sorry won't b getting food there any time soon

06/09/2026: Had Sunday lunch here under the new owners, the Finn's, and it was delicious. 6 of us went out, had lobster, lamb, haddock and chicken and all meals were really tasty and substantial. Special mention to the new potatoes that came with my lobster. We also had desserts and special mention to the baked Alaska which was a raspberry sorbet with Tunisian orange cake in a meringue. Lovely staff and service. Will very happily be back

31/07/2026: A bit of a disappointment. The lobster was a very small portion. In looking at the photos on Google prior, we were let down. I do know new management has recently taken over. €13 for a glass of Riesling and I wasn’t even given a wine list. Initially ordered Sauvignon Blanc and was told they were out. My partner ordered two portions of the lobster as we saw the previous ones that came out. After a long wait it came out and was stone cold. We sent it back because at the price point it could at least be hot! The mussels were actually nice and flavorful, just a tad salty. We received bread as we were halfway through our mussels and the butter about 7 mins later. We visited on a Wednesday evening. For the price point, small portions and slow service I’d skip this restaurant. If these things were fixed then it would be worth it.

30/07/2026: Home from Home. My first port of call everytime im back in Youghal Since 1969. Very much a tradional Irish family run pub Great Craic , Fantastic food which i highly recommend. The best homemade soup with Soda Bread Music 2 nights a week A must for everyone.

22/06/2026: The coffee was absolutely amazing, and the cinnamon bun was packed with flavour. Some people might find it a little on the dry side, but I loved the delicate layers and the rich cinnamon taste. Definitely worth a visit!

03/08/2026: Ordered vindaloo. Could have been spicier. Main issue is the portion was very small. Only 5 pieces of chicken, maybe half a breast
