13/10/2024: Sat at the top end of the cafe and the lady server very quickly brought us menus. Very varied choices. Had chicken paninis. After we had lemon drizzle cake and apple tart which were of grand portions. So happy to have spent a time here as the friendly staff made the difference also.
08/10/2024: Really need to clean their toilets. Very dirty toilets and the wall tiles filthy

15/09/2024: Great coffee and today tried the apple sponge cake. 🍰 Moist and delicious. I come for their coffee but there’s lots of treats to choose from. Simon was a great server.

21/09/2024: Incredible experience at this restaurant. Plenty of options on the menu for everybody, the food was very good , along with the service. The only let down of the meal was the sirloin steak was so tough it was nearly inedible. The rest of the meal can’t be faulted! Portions are very decent, great atmosphere in the restaurant! Overall a fantastic experience and look forward to going back.

21/08/2024: Durante una vacanza tra amici abbiamo deciso di entrare nel locale per per un ultimo drink. Appena entrato siamo stati caldamente invitati a consumare qualcosa. Abbiamo preso 4 gin tonic in 8 persone ma nonostante ciò le persone senza bicchiere in mano sono state amaramente cacciate dal locale. Pessima accoglienza.
During a holiday with friends we decided to enter the place for a last drink. As soon as we entered we were warmly invited to have something to eat. We had 4 gin and tonics in 8 people but despite this the people without a glass in their hand were bitterly kicked out of the place. Bad reception.

14/10/2024: An amazingly friendly place with the best beer selection we've seen during our 3 weeks in Ireland. In addition to having both Guinness and Bemis, they have two different IPAs, (and lots more we didn't pay attention to). The best thing is the friendly atmosphere and service. We felt completely welcome. Both bartenders were great. They poured a perfect pint of Guinness and chatted with us like we were old friends. When we left the table of locals we hadn't even talked to all said,"goodbye" and "enjoy your trip". I wish all pubs were like this. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. Albert Lynchs was one of the highlights of our trip.
16/09/2024: The place is very good, pleasant and cozy.
The only thing missing is a beer list like IPA, DOUBLE IPA, APA... but that happens everywhere. I'll be back more often.

20/10/2024: We love Ballycotton and absolutely love it. Lots of changes happen each year. However, it's a diamond. The Bayview is literally hanging on the cliff & so important to support our hospitality industry. Local hotels are so important & Suzanne Front of House should be cloned,she's brilliant. Genuine welcome & engaging.
Evening dining was delicious.
Loses one star as the Irish breakfast was below par..
09/09/2024: Not suitable for a family with young kids.. we booked a family room and got a double room and the response at reception left alot to be desired.. oops and we might sort it tomoro.. avoid if bringing kids

06/08/2024: Had the turkey, bacon, and brie sandwich while waiting for someone at the doctor. It was delicious and the place was really nice. Don’t be fooled by its location next to the clinic - everyone said their food was fantastic.

The Old Bank House

31/10/2024: This very great location townhouse allowed us to enter the centre of the Kinsale Community so easily…the breakfast was served in a very comfortable setting and the food was very good and a nice wide variety was available…my room was very comfortable…the staff were full of great information and proved quite helpful with requested information..
23/10/2024: Our stay was great and the building was old and but beautiful. The beds weren’t very comfortable and there was only a couple of plug ins. If you’re going for a piece history then this is your place, if you’re going for comfort then this isn’t.
