04/12/2025: stayed there for a night,our room was lovely,with prebooked breakfast included so dont need to worry about the food,actually we always book hotels with included breakfast and recommend to others do the same,used a swimming pool also ,have sauna and steam room which was nice relaxation time after hard driving around,lovely hotel to stay,and if you wonder of were to get lovely atmosphere of local food and people,there is a good chippery called nighthawks just 2min from hotel

24/09/2025: Unfortunately they were out of scones. If the waiter could have baked them I'd say he would have, he was so apoplectic. We had coffee and the apple and strawberry crumble instead. Beautifully presented with homemade vanilla ice cream. 10/10. Am already looking forward to going back.

Quality products and large selection is brilliant. Would recommend the soup rolls unreal when fresh and still do 5 cream cakes for €9 about. Very good value.

13/12/2025: Amazing food 5 of us ate and everyone was more than happy. Steak was so tasty and cooked to perfection the mushroom was unbelievable onky thing I would improve on was the chips. Some way too crunchy but overall delicious. Staff are very friendly was a lovely lunch. Will be back.

09/08/2025: Enjoyed a perfectly cooked full breakfast, at a refreshingly reasonable price with tea included (Barrys!). A rarity in that it's a old school proper cafe, nice and clean with a good atmosphere with great staff.

So short-staffed that the one lovely waitress was literally running around the tables.
Running out of so many popular drinks is a sign of a restaurant that’s about to close. I certainly won’t be going back.
