Location - the cutest village in county cork between Dunmanway and Skibbereen. There’s a VRBO next door in walking distance of the pub. It’s a great place to stop over on your drive or use a home base while you explore County Cork.
Vibe - Classic Irish pub meets updated experience. The Gaelic Bar has taken away the dark wood color scheme from most pubs and the result is a fresh approach to having a pint, watching a game, playing darts, and eating pizza. Yes, pizza. Homemade by the owner with amazing flavor profiles.
Expect a lot of fun / craic if you will, lively conversation, advice on surrounding things to do, games, and more.

04/11/2024: O'Keefe's SuperValu in Millstreet is the closest Grocery Store to me and my absolute favorite store to shop at! There are some occasions when certain items are not in stock - but nothing to complain about, in a day or two it's back on the shelves.
The staff - I absolutely love the staff - always so kind, helpful and friendly - it just enhances the the overall shopping experience.
An item which has become an absolute staple are the Traybake Cake Square Packs on the front table as you enter the store - Chocolate Brownie, Lemon, Red Velvet, Coffee and Caramel -Toffee are freaking amazing, compliments to the Baker!! So Amazing! Please don't stop making these!

24/08/2024: Horrible experience today. After 15 mins of sitting down the finally decide to take our order. Drinks took 20 minutes to come and then the food another hour and a half. Absolutely no control on the wasps and I had to leave my food half way due to the infestation of them. Won’t be coming back.

20/09/2024: Great spot for a quick lunch to go. They have tasty sandwiches, made fresh each day, that they toast up for you. Always tastes great!! They offer a lunch deal with a sandwich + soup for a reasonable price. Always hits the spot and I’ll be back again soon!!

31/08/2024: The food is lovely but they never give you what you order I always ask for pink sauce in My burger and ever single time I get red sauce, they call my order back to me with pink sauce and I get red sauce 🤷♀️ very frustrating when they get it wrong all the time. As a result I've paid for something I can't eat.

02/09/2024: We had a delicious and very reasonably priced breakfast here on Sunday while many other restaurants were closed! My yogurt and granola with honey was great, highly recommend for something light. They accommodated our large group of 10+ on the patio and were very friendly and prompt.

Glengarriff Caravan & Camping Park
01/10/2024: This is a well kept campsite, in a lovely corner of West Cork. The manager is friendly and helpful. Showers and toilets were clean and well stocked.
25/09/2024: Nice large (expensive 45 euros per night including electricity) campsite with free showers where you could adjust the temperature. Toilet blocks were renovated on the inside a few years ago. Pitches are paved with grass next to them. The village is 3 km by bike from the campsite, there is a shop and a few restaurants. The manager was very friendly, he normally closed a few days before but we were still allowed to stay for a night (we were not alone 🙂)

29/10/2024: Very busy chipper with good reason.Called here on a monday evening and it was non stop busy.Counted 6 staff all flat out yet were very nice to deal with.Chips were top class i must say.Only negative is its too pricey for what it is.I had small chips,2 plain sausages and a tanora,it was €11.

04/11/2024: It's always a good time at the local. The owner is a very nice man. Contributes great to the community. He has great nights and fund raisers, birthdays, and dart comps, and to top it off, he gets cracking bands playing also.
