08/06/2025: Group of 6 of us dined here - food perfect for all and large portions. Black bean and kung po nice in particular. Service good and quick.. losing a star due to lack of an atmosphere, very quiet on the night, and no draught available.
27/05/2025: Visited as staying nearby, large, bright, spacious restaurant with friendly welcoming staff. We ordered a house combination to share. Then Chicken with ginger and spring onion and a beef Mongolian style with fried rice to share and a very reasonable priced Chenin Blanc at €14.25. All our food was delicious and well presented. We thoroughly njoyed our visit and food. :) :)

20/07/2025: Great random find, decided to stop in Fermoy after driving from the depths of West Cork on a family camping trip, a lovely atmosphere and a great breakfast was had with scrambled eggs , toast and our new discovery of Shitake mushrooms introduced via the owner who was growing them on the counter. Overall a great way to finish our trip to Cork. We need more places like this!

15/08/2025: We had an absolutely spectacular meal at White Lady.Asian Fusion type category of the broad menu. So mouth wateringly delicious we did not want it to end. Anthony, the owner, greeted us so warmly and so graciously and made room for us on a busy Friday evening although we did not have a reservation. It was sheer delight and our best dining experience in Ireland not only in Kinsale.

Firstly the venue had a great buzzing atmosphere especially for a Wednesday night. It looked great. We had some great drinks.
Now the star of the show, the food … fabulous tastes and flavour. Spicy Sushi and a lovely chicken and potato main which also had a great source.
If you’re passing by, you have to eat there !!

30/08/2025: The food isn't what it use to.be years ago if I am honest. The only going for it now is the amazing views.
24/08/2025: A welcoming place with a spectacular view. The fish soup was sublime, we ordered seconds. The salmon dish paired with vegetables and a delicious sauce was also excellent. And what can we say about the tables overlooking the beautiful cove? We watched the sunset. The staff were extremely kind and helpful despite our limited English, and the price was more than fair.

13/05/2025: We had a wonderful time at Cafe On The Lane. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Lots of fresh pastries, cakes, etc. and a good selection of savoury sandwiches too. Reasonably priced and the quality of the food and drinks is fantastic. Very cute decor too.
