Coasties
01/10/2024: Great quick meal for a roadtrip/pit stop. Found a handful of food trucks on the way to Killarney and so we stopped and decided to try coasties! So delicious and exactly what I needed to fill my stomach, all while being super delicious. I got one with ham and it was very filling. The sauce they use is super tasty!

18/10/2024: Pretty little bar with restaurant on the 1st floor. Great views of the river and harbor at Crosshaven. Clear menu, everything is fresh and tastes great. The staff is very friendly, always attentive without being intrusive. The prices are ok too. Very clear recommendation. We'll definitely be back.

13/06/2024: Nestled in the heart of Macroom Castle Demesne, The Mulligan Room is situated in the clubhouse of Macroom GC. You do not have to be a member to eat at this restaurant. The food is excellent. Freshly prepared from locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast provides a filling start to the day. Today I had the Katsu Chicken Burger which was superb, the pictures do not do the flavours and presentation justice. Excellent value for money in Macroom where quality and value for money seldom go hand in hand. Enjoy your food while taking in the terrific scenery and follow up with a walk in the Castle parklands. Staff are always friendly, welcoming and attentive. Keep up the good work Mulligan Room.

Beautifully cooked and with a deep rich flavour. 5 star food as always!
20/09/2024: Had a double fish and chips meal that was stunning,,flavor ,, crispy batter,,cooked to perfection,,chips were chunky and delicious,,cost was € 13.95 per meal which is about average and a fair price to pay ..there was no peas and you would expect with a fish supper...and what was more disappointing was no tartar sauce either...we had to pay €1.50 for a little tub of tomatoe ketchup and I mean little...it took the good out of what was an otherwise stunning dish...

17/09/2024: We stopped off here on our way out west. What a spot! Beautiful, light filled space. Really friendly staff and owners who made us feel so welcome. Such delicious coffee and possibly one of the best pastries we’ve ever had !
07/08/2024: Really nice and chill spot, great vibe . Love the coffee. Well worth a visit if you are in clonakilty. They also sell other bits and pieces.

Absolutely fantastic. Everything brilliant.
Music there on two of the nights we stayed, and enjoyed very much.
A lovely big carpark attached to this hotel and the location is great.
Staff couldn't do enough for you. A big thank you to Anne Marie and her colleagues.
Had a wonderful time.
Highly recommended.
19/10/2024: Not staying in the hotel but in the village with friends. The West Cork Hotel was chosen as a place to eat lunch on two occasions. Fabulous food. Fantastic staff. All very friendly and polite. The fish cakes outstanding.

12/10/2024: We had the most amazing time! We were with a group of twelve and were treated to a spectacular day. Kathleen the proprietor was a delight. She showed many in our group how to pour a proper pint and fixed us the most lovely lunch. She was very kind and accommodating, this was definitely the highlight of our trip.
10/10/2024: Very nice place to start/finish your trip to Whiddy Island. Thanks to Tim and Kathleen we had a beautiful day there. Hope to be back soon!

26/05/2024: The best restaurant in Clonakilty I would say. Amazing food, very nice place, kind staff. I’ve tried a lot of menu options (they are always changing the menu and including new options) and everything I had, was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.
