30/06/2026: The best ice cream shop in all of Ireland. They have a great variety of products, including gelato, sundaes, milkshakes, 99' ice cream, hot drinks, and cold drinks. They also offer hot drinks for chilly days, perfect for combating the Irish weather. The staff are lovely and always serve you with a smile. Thank you!

19/04/2026: We had the room with sea view. There is a charger for EV nearby and plenty of parking in front which is part of the port. The place is perfect for us. Since we checked in on Saturday afternoon and their restaurant is closed on Sundays, they provided us some scones with butter and jam upon arrival. There were cookies too. The room was spacious, warm, and clean. Just note that you might hear the neighbouring room. Smooth stay and right at the heart of the town.

10/06/2026: We were warmly welcomed and greeted. We spent a week at Rolf's Countryhouse and felt completely at home. The room was lovely and equipped with everything we needed. The property is very quiet, so there was absolutely no noise – pure relaxation. Breakfast was perfect. Dinner was also fantastic. In short: we will definitely come back again. 24/02/2026: Nice country pub atmosphere with a fire lite stove. The service was professional. I ordered a steak which was overcooked first and was taken back, then it was undercooked on the second attempt. I ended up getting a burger and chips which I wasn’t charged for which I felt was the good way of dealing with the situation.

21/02/2026: Best meal of our trip to Ireland, and we ate many good meals. The blade steak was TO. DIE. FOR. The toffee cheesecake dessert, mouthwatering. The staff was friendly and accommodated our questions. We stumbled upon this place, and boy are we thankful we did!!

16/06/2026: Albeit our (2) stay was only for one night for a wedding hosted not far from Ballycotton we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cool staff. Cool bar. Tasty Grub. COMFY BED. What more d'ya want!? 10/10 would highly recommend 👌

19/05/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the Schooner Bar B&B. The accommodation was ideal for our trip — very clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious and really set us up perfectly for the day ahead. A sincere thank you to everyone for your hospitality and excellent service. We would highly recommend the Schooner Bar B&B to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

01/06/2026: Had lunch here on a very busy day, the place was filled with French (motor) bikers and so I wasn't expecting service to be so prompt. Great atmosphere, good food and service...sad that this is the last pub in the village but hopefully it can keep going for many years yet!

27/05/2026: Superb welcome… we hadn’t booked but our hosts managed to find us a good restaurant and treat us to a delicious meal before we took the ferry back to France.

20/06/2026: A cook or chef should know the difference between Cajun chicken and blackened chicken (Google it), but I ordered the later and my partner ordered the former, and the chicken looked the same. Mine was also dry and I had to add mayo to it just to make it palatable. The battered jalapenos were much better. As for atmosphere - too much noise. I should have sent it back before starting on it but I too... chicken...

07/07/2026: Small cosy resturant in Clonakilty town. Really good food n service is equally good. We ordered Cheese burger by mistake they were more than happy to change that for us.

23/06/2026: Great quality food at reasonable prices with excellent service. They have everything thing from gourmet lizza to noodles and seafood and pasta. Enough choice for all the family

30/06/2026: We visited this restaurant and had a great experience. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a lovely atmosphere. The only downside was that the menu selection was a bit limited, and we would have liked to see more options. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back again!
