15/12/2025: Great value for rooms, good quality 4 star hotel and location. Breakfast was fresh and service was good. Overall very good.

11/10/2025: Good price of €159 (October 2025) w/o breakfast for a twin room. Nice size of room, good bed linen, etc. the check in and check out was very quick too. Good parking space.

The Daily Grind, Kanturk

23/10/2025: We were over in Newmarket Motors collecting a new Xpeng G6 and ‘The Daily Grind’ was recommended as the place to go to for a good lunch. The great food was matched by the welcome and service making the whole experience. We can also recommend the carrot and fruit cakes both taken home 😀 In fairness the recommendation did come from James Moylan in Newmarket Motors and the cafe is owned by his mother. Overall collecting the car and the lunch capped off a great day trip from Dublin.

24/10/2025: We've been to berts about 5 times now and every time It is just the best experience. The staff are so helpful and friendly, the restaurant is lovely and clean and the food is honestly some of the nicest we have ever had, every time we come here. We traveled over an hour from the city today and it's always worth the journey!

10/09/2025: We stopped here with friends. We tried the creamy seafood chowder, lamb stew, haddock and chips and buffalo burger. We enjoyed everything and I can only recommend it.

31/10/2025: A superb townhouse and restaurant, with excellent service from all staff members and beautiful food. Even though I am coeliac and lactose intolerant, there was no problem meeting my needs (a rare event!) The whole establishment is spotless and inviting and the restaurant was buzzing with chat and laughter. David and Gaye (and Anne) are to be commended on their attention to detail in every way. We shall return. Highly recommended !!

23/08/2025: Disappointed in the experience for lunch, we were expecting more but for lunch the menu is quite limited. The salmon salad was basic and the service was a bit slow. The atmosphere must be better for dinner but for lunch was underwhelming.

19/08/2025: We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view of Irish meadows. The coffee was very, very good from a portafilter machine. They even had oat milk for the cappuccino or café latte. Really good! We also had warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream – absolutely delicious! The service was very friendly and attentive. We had a great time, thank you :)

09/02/2026: We stayed at the clonakilty park hotel me and my boyfriend and 5 year old there is so much for kids at the hotel our little boy loved it and we're coming back again in Aug weekend we loved it 😊the breakfast was lovely and so much to choose from 😁🍳🥐defo wud recommend for everyone especially with kids 5 star

01/02/2026: Great place for a family break. Plenty to do onsite all day, beaches and walks close by. Great staff and great value.
