18/11/2024: Went to have brunch with my friends here and they always have superb food and coffee! Only downside was my awkward reaction with a server but it was amazing over all :) ps… really recommend their eggs Benedict with their lemon hollandaise.

05/11/2024: We went there for lunch. Food was very good and service was excellent. Good place for lunch and breakfast. Did not stay there so no idea about rooms.

31/08/2024: A traditional Irish pub where the cuisine is particularly hearty and refined. Far from the standards, we find ourselves in a usual atmosphere with family or friends. A great culinary discovery!

13/11/2024: What can one say? It's the real deal as far as traditional irish pubs go. I've never had food here though, just drink.

08/10/2024: One place which is on the Bantry Bucket list. It's a favourite with tourists, the authenticity of the place. Being able to walk back in time gives it the appeal, tourists and the trusty regulars love about the place. As my American friends said while have a Murphys, "Imagine the stories these walls and cobbled stone walk way can tell".

26/09/2024: My group had a really disappointing experience recently. I work as a community worker on the north side of the Cork and had arranged over the phone to bring a group of 15 elderly people to see an exhibition advertised to be on until 31st December 2024. I had let the venue know we would be coming and had asked about lifts, access etc. All was hunky dory over the phone. When we got there on the monday morning, we were told by the staff member I had spoken to on the phone the week before that the exhibition had been taken down at short notice because of Culture Night. I had people aged 65 to 83yrs with me, yet the staff member in charge offered no apology, nor were we offered to sit down to catch our breath or encouraged to stay for a cup of tea or offered any help in finding another exhibition or thing of interest close by. The staff member in charge claimed I had got my dates mixed up and showed no people's skills nor kindness. A few days later I requested contact with a manager through the website 'contact us' section. It's been 11 days and I haven't received a call or an email. A missed opportunity to connect and restore confidence. I won't be bringing groups to St Peter Church in future nor promote its activities in my own circles.

21/09/2024: We had an excellent lunch there in mid-September. For me, tasty crab claws, accompanied by 2 sauces, salad and bread, and for my companion, a sandwich (fried bacon, sausage, meat) For a small price. (a little over €20 for both of us) The quality is there and the kindness too

05/10/2024: Such a quaint place to dine! We had a drink at the pub next-door and then went over to have dinner and wine at this restaurant. My friend and I split a meal and I swear they brought out two regular portion meals for that same price! The food was amazing and the fresh bread was delicious! 10 out of 10. You must try this!

16/09/2024: We were passing through town one night and decided to see what the place was like. The curry of 10, very good, I highly recommend trying it. The fingers are very good too. The pint is well drawn as it should be.

08/10/2024: This boutique elegant family run hotel is exceptional. Beautiful decorated interior keeping in line with area. The bedroom is very comfortable with Dyson air condition unit, coffee machine etc. I didn’t eat dinner but it’s one of few rare hotels where breakfast is cooked fresh with table service. Staff were very helpful. Keep up the good work.

06/08/2024: What an absolute find!!! Stunning little family run hotel in the heart of town. Such lovely and warm service. Very personal, rooms were a delight, food was fab, really good value for money!

07/07/2024: Lugar pequeño y sencillo pero acogedor delante del puerto y del Ferry para ir a Spike Island. Staff muy amable y eficiente, cocina sencilla pero muy buena. El postre casero tb muy bueno.

04/07/2024: Food was good. Ladies that work there were very personable,helpful and courteous. The owner came across as very rude and not pleasant. He didn't seem to value customs,we had coffee and cake first then our lunch. I would not recommend and will not go back again.
