15/06/2025: Great pub, large with plenty of different areas, old school and traditional. The owner William was absolutely lovely, loved having the chats and gave us plenty of information on the area and the farmers market , which is on every Saturday in the town and well worth a visit.

The Daily Grind, Kanturk

23/10/2025: We were over in Newmarket Motors collecting a new Xpeng G6 and ‘The Daily Grind’ was recommended as the place to go to for a good lunch. The great food was matched by the welcome and service making the whole experience. We can also recommend the carrot and fruit cakes both taken home 😀
In fairness the recommendation did come from James Moylan in Newmarket Motors and the cafe is owned by his mother. Overall collecting the car and the lunch capped off a great day trip from Dublin.

11/12/2025: Amazing pizza, wood fired, great all round and at a good price. Small seating area upstairs, but not cramped, music might be a little loud though. Service was solid, friendly staff and food came pretty quickly. Overall a great spot, ill be back
