04/09/2025: Had a lovely lunch here recently. Home made sourdough baguette was really nice. We were given a complimentary little cheese board. All cheeses were delicious. Highly recommend a visit👌

02/09/2025: The Falafel wrap is great and such a bargain for the price. I've been eating Cork Falafel's wrap for the past 6 months as it's tasty, filling and doesn't leave me feeling sluggish. Perfect quick bite to eat and plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans too.

13/02/2026: I would like to rate the Garryvoe Hotel in Ballycotton very highly on their exceptional handling of a situation which we experienced recently. We visited the hotel for 3 nights last October, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel room, staff, food and service couldn’t have been nicer/better. On arriving home we discovered we had left 2 items behind, and they even went above and beyond in helping us recover our property. Thank you so much Garryvoe – we will be back. John and Margaret

16/03/2026: The building interior has a lot of character and is nice to sit in. There is no table menu, it was hard to see the menu board on the wall as I hadn’t got my glasses. On this day there was no beef stew, no mashed potato, no burger buns. Coffee just tastes like a spoon of instant. Frozen straight cut chips fried in oil that needed to be changed- not the quality food I came out for. Christmas table clothes on the table was a bit dated for March. Radio on in background was nice.

23/02/2026: We were passing through the area around lunchtime and decided to stop by for something to eat. We noticed this place on the street and thought we'd give it a try. At first glance, it seemed quite old-fashioned in style. We took a seat and spoke with the staff who were lovely. The food was fantastic, there were quite a few locals dining in there as well—always a good sign—and the value for money was excellent. I’ll definitely go back if I pass through the area again, as the quality was top-notch. As I mentioned, it might not look like much from the outside, but once you sit down and have a meal, it’s a real hidden gem.

08/03/2026: Must try!! Best ingredients from West cork on a plate. Had the Ballydehob eggs with Salmon. Incredible flavour 🧡 Matcha Latte 💚 With family and their food was wonderful also.

04/01/2026: This is a great place to stop on your way to or coming back from the westerly extremes of west cork. Great food and coffee that tastes like coffee. Mince pies to die for. Keep it going!!!

22/02/2026: Fa food Lovely staff. Very quiet given the time of the year, but a great fire and the rugby was on if that was your vibe .A great warm pit stop on a miserable wet day
