The Town Coffee Company

09/06/2025: Amazing coffee and pastries! I had an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and a mocha pastry and both were so delicious. Service was also friendly and fast. The inside was a bit crowded but there was also some outside seating which was nice. Overall a lovely cafe, I would definitely recommend!

21/06/2025: Incredibly good pizza 🍕 highly recommend the white base bianca with chimichurri and also an order of feta dip on the side. The staff are also very friendly - gorgeous little shop attached also!
15/06/2025: Tasty. But greasy) It's hard to call this pizza dietary. The guys are friendly. Overall, very pleasant memories of the trip. The only problem with this place is the difficulty with parking and the opening hours are very selective.

The Walter Raleigh

09/07/2025: The room was very small and faced the street.
Toiletries (soap by the sink!) were missing.
The coffee machine was broken, so there was a long wait for a cappuccino.
The breakfast overall was very poor and lacking in attention.
05/07/2025: A Special thank you to jason and his amazing staff for all there amazing help and support in regards today Event which was my cousin jenna 's baby Naming the Walter Raleigh and their amazing staff could not have done enough. For my cousin and her partner.
Out of the two hotels in youghal I would highly recommend the Walter Raleigh

08/06/2025: I couldn't recommend this hotel enough, the food was amazing. We recently attended for a function and the function room was very spacious and everyone commented how friendly the staff were and how good the food was.

06/07/2025: We went in here today for lunch, went into the restaurant and sat at a table, the chairs were filthy covered with stains. We sat for 5 minutes, trying to get someone's attention, after a while this one came over and said the table was reserved. No reserved notice on the table.. The attitude was awful unfriendly.. The hole place is very disappointing, dull and not very clean. I'm glad in one since we left.. I wouldn't return.
01/07/2025: Walked in there about a week ago chancing and got seats, food is delicious, and place is really cool. Worth a visit.

13/07/2025: I almost never write negative reviews but this was truly dreadful. From the moment we entered The Courtyard in Clonakilty, the staff’s attitude at the bar was shockingly rude.
Each time we tried to order something we were met with cold stares and visible irritation. It felt like we were bothering him just by existing. No warmth, no basic courtesy.
And once the food finally arrived what can I say. I have never seen a burger so bad in my life. Dry, tasteless and completely uninspired. And of course basic and disgusting frozen fries. A total disaster from start to finish.
There are plenty of far more welcoming and friendly spots in Clonakilty. I will not be returning and I suggest you don’t either.
27/06/2025: Small portion for the price of it, food was average, the beef had a weird texture almost like rubber. Very expensive for what it is.

08/06/2025: Had the classic. Great home made sausage with just the right spices. Roll held together till the end. Onions and peppers were tender and fresh.
04/06/2025: Contained in the huge English Market SC ,this place stands out from all the other exceptional vendors. Just a small stall with usually only 3 workers, it can turn out food to die for. All sandwiches are make rite on the spot. You can customize or order any of the house specials. Grab a special, find a quiet spot, (not possible) and enjoy.

Busy dining room but we were welcomed ,shown to our table and our orders taken promptly .
Starters,main course and desserts were delicious.Most enjoyable ..
The Vintage is celebrating 40 years in business,ours was a quality experience and we look forward to many more before the golden jubilee. Thank you.
26/05/2025: Unbooked, dinner on a friday pm at 7, fab dinner for 4, lovely welcome, great service, sea bass, vegetarian lasagne, roast lamb and a burger were the choices, each meal beautifully presented, tasty and appreiciated, 👏

We go here every month or two for a meal.
We've always had great food and service here.
On our last visit we had a problem with a drink that just didn't taste right. But they sorted it out straight away.
We can't wait to see the pork medallions back on the menu.
09/07/2025: A long time to be waited for, the food presented lukewarm and without attitude. Requested a glass of wine instead of pouring it into the glass and showing me the bottle he brought it directly in a glass with dirty edges, hot and with ice to cool it down and what's more the wine was already open so imagine the taste... a lot of money for nothing

24/05/2025: If you are in Cobh (pronounced COVE) and you do not stop in for a pint, you have missed a genuine opportunity. Think of the American TV show Cheers and multiply that by 100 and add the Irish good nature and you are getting close to the feeling you get when you sit at the bar.
Start a conversation and soon you will thinking (or wishing) you’re a local. You will learn the pub dates back 200+ years, its connection to the titanic and Cobh’s connection to WW I
05/05/2025: We said we'd try Connie Doolans to hear Buster the singer. The owner was most welcoming and chatty, so that made a difference from the pub the day before. We found a nook where 9 of us could be together and had a great night. All punters were friendly.

15/06/2025: Went to a friends wedding here the location was beautiful staff were nice and friendly making sure you always have the best service the food was immaculate and the atmosphere inside the dining hall was immaculate only problem was the beer was 7.50 which is quite expensive
05/06/2025: It’s been a week since I visited with my cousins whilst on a girls’ trip & still thinking about the wonderful meal we had here.
Excellent quality seasonal ingredients, drinks were varied and well-selected and the service was attentive. Definitely want to visit again
