09/09/2025: Ignored us for 45 mins and did not serve us, shame it used to be great but unfortunately the owner died and it hasn’t been the same the last few years since.

24/11/2025: Spa was very underwhelming. Sea water swimming pool is dated and not well maintained with pealing ceilings. No separate Spa pre relaxing area to the public pool. The changing room is also same as the changing rooms for the public pool. The floor was flooded and lots of spa slippers and towels thrown on ground, obviously not maintained/monitored. The massage was quite poor too. Would not recommend. The relaxation room has you facing towards a glass wall... with view of a hedge. The lunch in hotel afterwards was very nice however.

25/11/2025: The Auld Triangle in Macroom is a warm, traditional pub-restaurant known for friendly service, good value, and hearty Irish food. It’s a cosy, easygoing spot with plenty of space and a relaxed local atmosphere. Perfect for a casual meal or pint, especially if you’re passing through on the N22. Nothing fancy just solid, straightforward, and welcoming couldn’t fault anything we got here food, drinks and service was all top class, if passing true again will definitely stop off

20/10/2025: Amazing place we continuously go here and we’ve never been disappointed. Food is always top notch and delicious not even to mention the desserts. Staff are very friendly and easy to work with. Please don’t shut down I love this place

16/09/2025: Meh, it was there, it was open lasagna was okay. Service was prompt. It was cash only when I visited.

17/08/2025: The tables are right on top of each other - you might as well be eating with the next table. It was so hot there and no air con. And a year later the card machine not working....they only take cash. Food ok would not be in a hurry back.

30/12/2025: Fantastic meal. Friendly and relaxed but also professional. We had the discovery menu, order the cheese and the wine pairing.

15/09/2025: So stopped in here yesterday going to Cork from Dublin, as i have been since i was a kid, oh how this place has gone down hill, one of 4 of us travelling had special dietary requirements, there was nothing on the menu i could eat so i asked could I just have a toastie, was told NO, asked someone else could they ask the chef, a few minutes later a girl in a green shirt came from behind and starting speaking while my back was turned to her, she couldn't even wait to get to table and face me, she wouldn't even listen to me just said nothing i can do and walked off, then the foreign man who works there came over and asked me am i eating, i said no I'm not eating, as he walked away and turns around and says GOOD, what a disgrace he was, all i was asking for was a chicken toastie, they had a toaster right there, they had bread and they had chicken, i eventually ordered garlic bread with cheese just to have something, when i ordered that the rude foreign guy says i knew you wouldn't leave without eating with a stupid smirk on his face, the cheek of him, i was the one who recommended we stop in this so called "restaurant" the other people i was with said there food was horrible, lasagne under done, and two chickens over done, it's not restaurant quality and service isn't restaurant quality, it's not even good pub food, if your food is that bad at least have good service, do something right, it's like a horrible old dated nursing home with servers who have been working 12 hours shifts, when i went to pay and walked up to the till we asked could we pay, the rude foreign man just ignored us and walked off and didn't say anything, not even sorry I'll be back in a minute just blanked me and walked off, the owner can check the camera on that, anyway if you ever went here travelling from Dublin to Cork or are thinking about going here PLEASE don't, avoid it,they don't care if you have special dietary requirements, it's only 25 mins from Cork where you will get better food and service and in a takeaway van

02/12/2025: Friendly and fast service. Portions are large and filling. Perfect for coming with children. Very cozy restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. Plenty of space not only for couples, but also for larger groups of people.

19/10/2025: Love, love, love the food served there. Sadly only managed to get to eat there once while we were on holiday in the area, as cafe seemed to be closed on other days we tried.

16/10/2025: Great food and spot on service. We had a small group with a couple of folks with food allergies. Staff was great and attentive. Highly recommend this location for your meals in Kinsale. burgers are huge ! Well prepared. Buddha salad was amazing and enough for two. All their hot toddies were delicious. Service was excellent and just the right amount of attention.

25/11/2025: On a Saturday evening, one of the few restaurants open in the entire town. A nice, positive atmosphere and friendly service. A wide selection of dishes, with almost all served with proper fries. The coleslaw was very mayonnaise-y, a bit too much for my liking, but I've noticed that they like it that way in Ireland. The beef lasagna was very good, with a juicy meat and a distinct flavor. The chicken wings as an appetizer were also juicy and the portions were huge, as usual. I recommend it.
