16/06/2025: Went here for Sunday morning brunch on a recommendation and I loved this place. We had to queue for a table for maybe 15 minutes or so but this was managed very well and there was no confusion about who was next or anyone being forgotten about. Inside the dining area is decorated beautifully and laid out very well, all in all a delightful place to be. The toilets were nice and clean. The young staff were organised, efficient and even friendly! You don't get that combination very often, especially from younger staff, cudos on that. And finally the food was top notch. I got the full Irish and I nearly licked the plate. I thought it was good value. My smally got the pancakes with Nutella. They struck me as kitchen made and not shop bought. I had a taste and they were delicious. My other half got the eggs benedict and loved it. Everything was presented with a bit of thought gone into it. All in all, a fine example of how a restaurant should be run. I'll definitely be back!

05/05/2025: Thank you so much to all the team at Surf & Turf, East Cork Golf Club for hosting our wedding reception! Kasia and the girls were so easy to deal with, making an overwhelming time so much more relaxed. Myself and my husband got married abroad then honeymooned for nearly a month and only had a week at home to organise the reception. I believe if it was any other venue it would have been a nightmare. But the staff were so cool and calm, there was no fear! The decorations, layout and food was beyond perfection. All the guests, (including two professional chefs!) were blown away by how good the food was and how much of a selection we had in the menu. It was the talk of the evening (maybe even outshined the bride and groom! 😂) Every little detail and idea we had for our Japanese themed wedding reception they listened carefully and made our vision a reality, in fact even better than we imagined. My only regret is not relaxing more and trusting them to take over everything, they really knew exactly what to do to make the day perfect. We couldn’t fault a single thing, honestly! Surf and Turf will be our go to venue for all events and parties in the future. Thank you all again for everything Kasia, her husband and all the team at Surf & Turf.

20/05/2025: Better coffee than Costa/Starbucks imo. I prefer supporting small local businesses too so I would normally go to them when I’m in Carrigaline and in Douglas Shopping Centre.

22/06/2025: After moving to the area we finally got to visit and we wasn’t disappointed. It’s great that you can have a drink in the bar area and have a look at the menu before moving through to the restaurant. All our dishes were fantastic and they have a great wine selection. This is the sort of place you could enjoy a 3 course meal with a bottle of wine or a bowl of mussels with a pint of lager. Many more visits to follow hopefully!

27/04/2025: Finders Inn, Nohoval is warm, cosy, full of character and charm. The food is top class - always - with plenty to choose from. My favourites the hors d'oeuvre or Seafood in Filo pastry to start followed by Cassoulet of Seafood or Rack of Lamb for mains (I find it very difficult to choose!) Delicious sides (included in price) potato gratin, roasted vegetables and chips add to make this a 10/10 meal on flavour every time. We LOVE coming to Finders for a night out. It’s the best restaurant as far as I’m concerned.

13/07/2025: We knew we hit the jackpot when we saw the queue out the door. The pastries are beautiful, especially the Raspberry Danish. The staff were lovely and the coffee was delicious. We grabbed a sourdough special on the way out the door.

03/07/2025: I recommend going here for breakfast or lunch, or just for sourdough bread or sweet baked. There's not that many seating, but there is some, it's also perfect for takeaway. I loved the sourdough and kimchi sandwich. Freshly baked and great taste. And the banana bread was very good! Nice staff and good service. You just have to try it🙌 I'm coming back!
