24/05/2025: Amazing place with a beautiful garden. Really enjoyed spending some time here, the view is mesmerizing.

20/05/2025: We stayed at the Bantry House for one night last week, and it was wonderful! The House and gardens are just beautiful. We arrived in time for Julie, one of the current owners, to give us a private tour of the House. She was so lovely, and we really enjoyed learning about the history of the property from a member of the family. Our accommodations were very comfortable and quiet, and we enjoyed playing snooker and having a beverage in the game room that evening. It was an easy walk to town for a little sightseeing and dinner. Breakfast was delicious the next morning. Really a wonderful experience all the way around.

25/05/2025: Enjoyed a nice cup of tea and a scone while my other half enjoyed a Bramley Irish Breakfast. Very comfortable setting, really tastefully decorated and you can also purchase freshly baked goods etc.

24/05/2025: Went for the large fry and it didn’t disappoint. Staff were welcoming and were able to refill water bottles for the trip

06/05/2025: Good cheese burger delivered quickly by 2 hardworking servers at a reasonable price of 4.50E. With a smile and attention to customer service.

04/05/2025: Perfect little coffee shop with the most tasty coffee and even better yet, the best scone I have ever had. My husband and I were ordering coffee “to take-away” and as we were waiting, I read a clever sign that said: “scones so fresh, they were still flour at 7:00 AM” ! Of course it piqued our interest, we ordered a scone (original) and sat down to enjoy it all. I have to say, the scone was the freshest I have ever tasted. It was perfectly baked, light and fluffy in the inside and the right amount of crispy baked bits on the outside. Let me not forget the clotted cream on the side. If you are ever in Cobh, do yourself a favour, make your way over to the Coffee Cove, order a coffee (or tea), a scone and enjoy a delectable moment surrounded by local and historical momentos.

27/04/2025: The raspberry scones, clotted cream, and cream cheese were so delicious. The price is reasonable too. This is a local restaurant where I was happy because the coffee was delicious. I'll definitely give it to you next time I go to Cove.

07/04/2025: I found this place via Google and would highly recommend. The breakfast was delicious, the white pudding especially! Staff were so kind and friendly plus super efficient. Absolute value for money to! If you're in Midleton this place is worth the stop!

25/03/2025: There is a selection of light lunch options. We arrived mid afternoon and the selection of cakes had been reduced by a busy lunchtime. We recommend visiting this cafe in the morning so that you can enjoy choosing from the full range of sweet treats available. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is also a covered outdoor eating area, a real bonus if you have a dog with you, so that you can still enjoy a cuppa and cake in the dry.

08/04/2025: We stayed for one night and had the pier view. The room was excellent, clean and a comfortable bed. The Onsuite was fantastic. We had a few drinks in the bar and there was a nice little crowd there, nice and cozy. The added extra was Chieftain on draught. The breakfast was freshly cooked and amazing, eating while watching fishing trawlers heading out to sea.

28/03/2025: Exceptional!! We had a wonderful romantic dinner here in Cush! The food is stunning with the use of local ingredients. Beef cheek was to die for and we really loved the minimal but well thought out presentation of the dishes. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, with beautiful views overlooking Ballycotton lighthouse and cliffs. Looking forward to going back again! Sandy and Craig

03/05/2025: We visited the restaurant with a group of five people. Three ordered a salad and a main course, and two ordered only a main course. Two people got their salads on time, and three people had to wait about an hour for their salad and main courses. The restaurant explained the delay by saying that they were waiting for both people to finish their salads. So three people were sitting hungry. Afterwards, there was no desire to order dessert or coffee.

19/04/2025: This is mine and my daughter's favourite place to eat in Youghal. They have a delicious regular menu but always have incredible specials just in case you want a change. The staff are young and hip, and there are always great vibes. If you're lucky enough to be in Youghal, make it your go-to restaurant.

26/03/2025: The breakfast muffin is second to none, excellent ingredients and delicious bun. Had it both for takeaway (as Saturday/Sunday it gets mad busy inside, not much ventilation going on also with the cooking) and inside with their Malteser or Baileys cheesecake, which is excellent too. Not easy to fit more than 5/6 people at brunch time, better to take away and eat in the park by the river if weather allows.

25/03/2025: This was our second visit to Bitesize, and again the food was great. We chose a Toastie special and a Cajun Chicken Toastie, a cup of tea and a cappuccino, portion sizes are very substantial, staff are friendly and most importantly the toilets are clean.

21/05/2025: Ordered chicken curry today , and it smelled and tasted spoiled—clearly not fresh. Even told the waiter about it but no action taken. Extremely disappointed and concerned about food safety. Hope the restaurant takes this seriously.

20/05/2025: It’s a small restaurant but that makes it even better, with attentive but unobtrusive service and such excellent food — food to die for!! I chose the duck tikka as starter as I’d never seen a duck dish on an Indian menu before. Sublime!! I could eat this until it came out my ears! Juicy, perfectly cooked and with such well balanced spices. And my main, an equally delicious lamb shank, kept up the high standard, wonderful flavours and delightfully presented. Nor were the portions subjected to ‘portion control’ — hearty quantities, so much so that my wife had to take home half her prawn biryani (big juicy tiger prawns) and my sis-in-law half her lemon rice! We’ll be back!

18/04/2025: Simply wonderful, one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Every serving in the tasting menu was flawless, with some unique recipes and delightful service. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough

18/03/2025: The best meal in Ireland by a mile. A small intimate restaurant with just 12 covers but the food was really wow. Each course an absolute gem with such great flavour and massive thought in its creation. Hats off to the chef! Stand out dishes were the langoustine and turbot, both utterly amazing. The main course duck was a little disappointing, as is often the case, being a little tough but the transition course just so wow and one of the best I’ve ever had! Dessert not bad either! A little over priced wine list but did not distract from the overall experience. Just hope they stay at the top of their game!
