14/06/2026: Stayed in room 2 for one night with my wife .... lovely staff rooms were great ... location is amazing with lots to see around... was very noisy outside at night but thats only because the town is very busy nothing connected to the hotel ... would definitely return and recommend

20/06/2026: Had a great visit to The Quays Bar in Bantry. The staff were incredibly sound, welcoming and always happy to help, which made the whole experience even better. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and service. I ordered the haddock and chips and it was absolutely spot on – fresh, perfectly cooked fish with a crispy batter and lovely chips on the side. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, making it a great place to stop for food or a few drinks. I’ll definitely be back and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Bantry. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

25/06/2026: Sourdough ciabatta ploughmans. 10/10 family from wirral england in photo !! Water machine, a great Idea . Saw this place as we approached and had to stop , im so glad we did, the ham was world class .

28/06/2026: Amazing food, amazing service, our server was so lovely and absolutley amazing with our picky eater kids! Really good value and such a beautiful place. My toddler who wont eat any food finished the whole bowl of soup, that is a miracle!!! We will defiently be back for lots of soup for him 🥰 Highly reccommend!

02/06/2026: This is a truly local Irish pub. Great, eclectic decor. Very traditional and homey with lots of regulars coming in. Drinks only. Nice covered outdoor area, too. Absolutely worth stopping in for a pint!

13/05/2026: We came for the set menu on a weekday and the restaurant was relatively quiet. Overall I enjoyed the meal and my personal favourite was the langoustine course, which was light and the langoustine was super fresh. The courses that I didn’t enjoyed was the fish with the prawn broth (v salty) and the main paired with the beetroot sauce and Szechuan pepper - somehow it over complicates the dish and the combination don’t work. One of the course was a round croissant served with some beautiful Irish butter - but again I’m happy with a simple good warm bread that could highlight the flavour of the butter .. instead of putting butter on a croissant that’s already made with a lot of butter.

24/06/2026: This book shop is pure holiday! I can absolutely recommend it. Greeted with a warm welcome u get well collected books. From historic over romantic to cooking books. There is definitely one book fitting to your taste.! You can read in store in the cozy little back yard if you want! I bought a BOSH! cookbook. There are also delicious different kind of coffees. I had the flat white, my friend a cappuccino. Both super good. In addition we both had a piece of the self made cherry cake. It was still warm so double delicious. If you're in town and care about your well being... Step in! Greetings from Germany and Switzerland.! PS: it's all vegan, so 269 extra points.

Special thank you to Mareid and Kevin for being exceptionally friendly, great hosts and fantastic at their jobs. Made our lives a lot easier, and they did it while having big smiles on their faces. Cannot recommend highly enough.

21/06/2026: When I'm trying to enter the bathroom when I needed and then some of the day when I see someone is cleaning and the lady gets mad and rude for some reason I don't know why? Is everyone always rude when cleaning the toilet? I hate to see these stupid people cleaning bathroom in front of me.

19/06/2026: I discovered it quite by chance, but I'm all the more delighted. A fantastic shop with a lovely café and matcha. They also have great modern items to buy. A visit is definitely worthwhile!

11/06/2026: The Pantry is the best morning routine I've had since Australia. Breakfast is cooked fresh to partner the first morning coffee to trigger the day. The cafe bussles with regulars, passing tourists from the Midleton Distillery on the same street with mix & match family groups getting the feed power up for the day or a special day.

08/07/2026: The doors were open and there was a draft through the venue which wasn't ideal for my dad. The food also wasn't that flavor strong. The oysters were my favorite but apart from that nothing really interested me. You might like the fish pie if you're into a hearty creamy meal, but I wasn't feeling it. Felt like frozen veg to me
