Had food in eating area of pub and food was good.. unfortunately I was in a group of 20 people plus and pub was playing very good music... unfortunately slightly loud for lunch time , and staff were ask to lower background music not by 1 person but by 10 people , and we all were totally ignored... in actual fact music level was highered... So no tip left, and no return from our 20 strong entourage... Guinness 6 out of 10 Temperature not correct.

23/03/2024: I had an absolutely delightful experience at Bert’s restaurant. A prime location in the heart of Clonakilty, with free car parking a stone throw away. I ordered the pulled BBQ beef burger, a true masterpiece! One of the tastiest burgers I have ever had. To top it all off, I shared the loaded wedges with my friend as a birthday treat, and to my surprise the entire staff and the other guests sang me happy birthday! The interior of the restaurant was fabulous and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The bathrooms were very clean and modern! The staff were so attentive and friendly, even modifying my friends order who wanted no tomatoes in her pesto chicken ciabatta, with no hassle at all! The coffee was delicious, I will be running in for takeaway coffees when passing in the future. Berts truly offers something for every palate. This is a must-visit destination for all foodies! I can’t wait to return to try more items on their menu. 🤤

14/01/2024: Decided to go here for a change. It was lovely. The place is very nice inside and well presented. The staff were lovely and very friendly. If you have a party going I would recommend the restaurant but if its for a date with two I'd ask for the bar. Its lovely. Food was really nice. Prices are the usual 18/20 for a main but boy do you get some amount of food. Great value. All in all I loved it. 100 percent be going back. One thing I would say about the place it the bathrooms. They were lovely. Candle lighting and it smelled wonderful but it was so slippery. I caught me off gaurd and it was dangerous. My partner was pregnant and I didn't like her walking into an ice rink. Easially solved though. Plenty of parking too

28/03/2024: Superb. Lovely atmosphere, very attentive service with humour/banter and fantastic food. I had earmarked the short rib but went for the host recommended pork chop with slow roast porchetta, buttermilk mash apple/maple chutney and red wine jus…excellent, this was preceded by the Piri Piri aubergines, and the deserts were impressive especially the Liquid Desert - Lemon Meringue Pie👍

20/03/2024: Wer we're a groupe of 3 people. The Service was welcoming and nice! The food was perfekt ! We had the Moussels, the Monk Fish and the Burger. Evry thing was relay got to perfekt. And i can realy recommend the liquid Dessert! I had the Tiramisu Cocktail and it was the perfekt Finish vor a great evening!

10/03/2024: It was quite unpleasant coming. The man who served us told us that he was not going to serve us just the coffees and lemon cake that we were asking for. With a rather serious and unhelpful tone. I don't recommend going at all. We left

02/04/2024: Very good beef, service & breakfast!

02/04/2024: Didn't stay at this hotel hence no star for rooms but had lunch one day and drinks another day in the outside covered area. Staff were efficient and pleasant and lunch was good. The view to the water was nice but would have been better were it not for the parked cars beside the seating area. Kinsale is a busy town with parking at a premium so residents have to park somewhere

05/02/2024: Very easy to book. I made a booking online. We were seated straight away. The staff are so lovely. They were very busy but no delay in taking order or the food coming out. I had a steak sandwich and my son had a pizza. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend a visit.

05/02/2024: One of the best meals we’ve had, wonderful service and just a lovely setting. A must visit if you’re in the area. I especially liked the pace of the service as it’s hard to find somewhere that isn’t rushing each course and trying to turn the table. We had such an enjoyable evening and will definitely be back if we’re in the area again.

The staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the food was delicious and satisfying. I especially enjoyed the steak, which was cooked to perfection and had a rich and flavorful sauce. It was one of the best steaks I have ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in Cork. Thank you. ```

01/04/2024: We absolutely loved every single moment in Rolf's. The owners are the most caring people with attention to detail. It was our second time here and won't be the last. We felt so welcomed and looked after from the moment we arrived to our departure. Rolf's is placed in a beautiful spot with loads of nature and privacy. So much space to relax with a drink in the sun. Breakfast is genuinely next level, so delicious and ingredients are fresh. There is no better spot to stay than this one!
