09/09/2025: Great place to stay close to Killarney. Not at Killarney prices. Has a good bar and restaurant. The Mills Inn also has a very good Gift shop with clothing, jewellery, pictures and lots more. It's worth making a detour to visit

31/08/2025: What a Night we had at The Mills Inn WOW! Management and Staff were amazing, our room was gorgeous, Food unreal. The entertainment from the fantastic Sam 100% and the locals well there are no words for those amazing people.

19/08/2025: This was our favorite cocktail bar from our most recent trip to London. The drinks were fantastic, the atmosphere and vibes were immaculate. The staff was attentive and friendly and helped us make our drink choices. We also had some small plates, which were excellent. There was fantastic live music playing while we were there (think Django Reinhardt style guitar). This is not an inexpensive place to drink, but you will not be disappointed.

16/08/2025: What a an incredible experience, start to finish. Service was impeccable all throughout our visit. The entertainment was spectacular and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The food was so full of flavour and was worth every penny, albeit the pricing was more than reasonable. I highly recommend dinner and a show. If I’m ever back in London, I’ll be back here again. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable and make sure you have everything you need whenever you need it. If I could rate it more than 5 I would. Cheers.

10/08/2025: Popped in for a stunning fish and chips, two of us and a large greyhound, he had a sausage and staff brought out a bowl of water for him so he was happy. Lovely staff and recommend the fish 😀

19/07/2025: Wow, the fish was incredible. Fresh & tasty. Dog friendly, too,l. Water provided in bowls for the animals. Lovely outdoor seating area, and it's great for dogs.

11/08/2025: Pub and restaurant upstairs with a beautiful sea view. A little out of the way from the center of Kinsale, it's worth walking there for a view from above Kinsale harbor. Excellent fish and chips, fresh and quality cuisine. Very friendly welcome and service.

10/08/2025: Maritime bar and restaurant. Excellent food, gulped with a cold Rockshow(?) glass of cider.

08/09/2025: Seam a small pub at first but had a number of room which lead out to an eclectic theatre with an old fishing boat build into the bar.

15/07/2025: Huge improvements. Pleasant now and a great pint of Murphys Stout.

13/07/2025: We drove 30 minutes to get coffee for a birthday we arrived at 2:40 and went to the coffee hatch to get takeaway coffees. we were waiting to order when a waitress came up to the hatch and said sorry we are done for the day and proceeded to close the hatch in my face I said are you sure we can't get coffees it's says your open till 3 the woman who I presume owned it butted in and attacked me she was very passive aggressive and made me feel uncomfortable she started speaking in a raised tone and gave a speach about how they ran out of ice, we're closed for the day and so on. I think that's completely unbelievable I am certain they would have an ice machine and there were people finishing up their meal so would not be closing till they finished anyway I am absolutely appalled at their service and will never be back and severely recommend avoiding this spot! Worst service ever

26/06/2025: Place was busy so we had to wait a few minutes, however the server/owner not have been more helpful. Small but quality menu. Food arrived promptly and was plentiful. Would recommend either the breakfast focaccia or the tuna melt. Well worth visiting if ever in Kinsale, will be back again!

11/07/2025: Genuinely one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. Great location, superb welcome, room really clean and spacious (and very quiet!), food excellent, parking plentiful. I really can't fault my stay. Brilliant.

19/08/2025: We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view of Irish meadows. The coffee was very, very good from a portafilter machine. They even had oat milk for the cappuccino or café latte. Really good! We also had warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream – absolutely delicious! The service was very friendly and attentive. We had a great time, thank you :)

08/08/2025: Very good food in this restaurant, with a varied menu and generous portions. Evening prices are much more expensive; take into account €45 to €53 excluding wine. Impeccable service and friendly staff.

16/08/2025: If I could rate The Lifeboat Inn 6 stars I would. Hands down the most delicious and well priced food I’ve had in a very long time. Heads up that portion size is large, produce is local and clearly prepared with love. Welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly staff. We chose the garden area to dine in since the weather and location were memorable. Looking forward to a return visit. Thanks to all the staff.

11/08/2025: I've been wanting to visit for a while now. I was not disappointed service was excellent and I had the nicest fish and chips I think I've ever had. Can't wait to go back 😊
