04/05/2025: The seafood pasta was one of the best fish dishes I've had. Pasta cooked to perfection w a delicious, well-balanced bouillabaisse style sauce. Very generous serving of seafood, including calamari, crab claws, mussels, and tempura baby squid, each element singing. A dish to savour. Enjoyed w a cracking 2022 Languedoc white. Excellent QPR. 21/04/2025: Very disappointed with the quality of food here. The roast beef dish was dried out -microwaved i guess, the beef didn't look like roast beef it was a pale white colour . The frozen veg was disgusting all shrivelled up from been pre heated.The roast potatoes soggy and Burnt . Mash was awful thick consistently and tasteless. Just Very Poor quality food here and cooking was to a home standard not a chefs / restaurant. Steak sandwich was like a minute steak was rubbery , dried out again . Chips replicated air fryer chips. Skinny and frozen chip. The battered cod wasn't Cooked thoroughly. Prices didn' t justify the quality and standard of cooking. And no card machine working on one of the busiest Sundays- Easter Sunday. The 2 star goes to the attentive and friendly waitress and the GAA and horse racing showing on the tv's.

27/04/2025: The best pizza in Middleton and Maybe even all of cork. Sauce was so fresh and the pizza base and crust was Devine and I’m not even a crust person but the the crusts were top tear. It came very quickly and wasn’t busy in the slightest. staff was great too. Will be back can’t believe I never came sooner.

17/05/2025: Food is just delicious (small portions), and the chickpeas chips are divine! So good! Staff is very welcoming and they really take care of you. Music was great, and the ambience is delightful (everything curated to the details apart from the stage where they perform - a bit of a sad golden curtain. This is me being a perfectionist but part of my job). Lovely experience and perfect for a date (however music can be relatively loud so might not be the right place for the very first date if you want to get to know each other). If you are vegan, they only have vegan desserts but can adapt recepies by removing ingredients (which is slightly annoying as we often end up paying the same for less, somehow)

12/05/2025: I personally did not enjoy this place as much as some other cocktail bars in London. The atmosphere is created nicely in African / Latin American style. The cocktails were good but not all of them. Acadia and Route Napoleon were both great. Cities of the plan was too strong to me although I love mezcal-based cocktails. Rio verde was just good but I would not order it in a cocktails bar. The food overall was underwhelming. Tar tare could have been good if not that salty. Charred octopus was just okay. Pork katsu Sando was good and the pork was reasonably tender but again nothing special. There was a band playing music and closer to the end of the evening they started to call people on stage, have a train running around the bar etc - so the atmosphere was definitely different from your average cocktail bar and while a lot of visitors enjoyed it, I would be looking for something else. The service was not the level I’d expect. I ordered a cocktail and in addition to it just not being available, I only learnt about it 15 minutes after my order

13/05/2025: We had a wonderful time at Cafe On The Lane. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Lots of fresh pastries, cakes, etc. and a good selection of savoury sandwiches too. Reasonably priced and the quality of the food and drinks is fantastic. Very cute decor too.

11/05/2025: A suprising breakfast engagement led us to discover all the wonders this place has to offer. Staff are lovely, food is excellent and they offer a free coffee to those who pick up beach litter. A memorable one for the books!

30/03/2025: We popped in here on a quick pit stop in Kinsale and Hannah the owner was so lovely! She made me a delicious ice mocha and then was so friendly and chatty she ended up finding out we’d just arrived and we’re visiting Baltimore and gave us a whole heap of places to go and see. We ticked every one of them off the list and they didn’t disappoint. Such a lovely coffee shop to pop into when we’d just arrived! Made us feel so welcome

08/05/2025: We had a fabulous meal that we won't soon forget. There were 8 of us and the service was perfect. Our steaks were so tasty and the sides were delicious.

29/04/2025: This is no ordinary restaurant as the staff's friendliness,knowledge and and all round level of service, plus the quality of the food enjoyed by all in my party made our visit a dining experience. You will not regret eating here.
