22/06/2025: Found this online looking for somewhere to eat near Putney Bridge. Fantastic! Some of the best fish & chips I’ve ever tasted. Freshly cooked and delicious. Love the quirky inside seating area as well. Just what we needed after a long day at the tennis! We’d definitely go again.

21/06/2025: I have been wanting to try Fishers for a long time, I have always been told fish and chips only taste good on the coast, which I have always believed but I have to say since living in London this is the best fish and chips I have had and I will be coming here again, cooked fresh not oily and batter that is so crunchy, delicious.

10/07/2025: An authentic pub in arguably the most beautiful part of Ireland, hurling on TV, Guinness and top-quality fish and chips. My wife even got a non-alcoholic shandy… They're considerate of the unfamiliar.

06/07/2025: A beautiful place! I tried the fish tostada special today and it was to die for. The team are so warm and welcoming and there is so much life around the pub, whether it's people cheering for the hurling, dancing to live music, having a pint on the waterfront or even using the sauna on the front lawn. An epic spot to spend your day 😁

28/08/2025: We ate scones they made themselves, delicious. The coffee was spectacular. The lady was very nice. Very good prices.

24/08/2025: Copy Cafe with friendly staff. Delicious scones and the veggie soup was also yummy.

12/08/2025: We had no booking but they took our number and got us in very quickly, just enough time for a pint across the road. It was busy and fun with a great mix of locals and travellers. Food was excellent from the baked bree to the local lobster.

19/08/2025: Best fish and chips in Cork. They have a outlet in Carrigaline as well. JC Lennox and catch of the day can't be beaten for fish and chips in Cork. Update after 2 years : wouldn't change it a bit. It still is a 5 star place

13/08/2025: I had my best fishnchips in Kinsale! Got a kibbling box and even the small one for 8euros was definitely filling and the tartare sauce was delish!Chips were golden&crispy and the fish was fried to perfection! Has a lovely view to enjoy your food at aswell

We started with drinks on the terrace with an amazing sea view—I enjoyed a refreshing aperitivo cocktail, while my partner had a gluten-free, alcohol-free cider (great options for different preferences!). The welcoming vibe convinced us to stay for dinner, and we’re so glad we did. This cozy fish restaurant and pub is incredibly dog-friendly—our pup was allowed inside. The staff was very nice to welcome our request to give a bit of plain cooked fish to her. They served her fresh cod in a takeaway box! They also had water bowls outside and gave her plenty of attention. The food was fantastic—my partner had the pan-fried seabass fillet (gluten-free, with baby potatoes, mushrooms, and pesto beurre blanc), and I had the cold seafood platter, both fresh and delicious. The desserts and coffee were outstanding, and the prices were fair for the quality. The atmosphere was relaxed, the sea view was gorgeous, and the staff were so friendly—to both humans and dogs! Highly recommend for a great meal in a dog-friendly setting. We’ll definitely be back! P.S. Don’t miss a post-meal walk along the coast—Ballycotton is beautiful!

13/09/2025: Perfect stopover enroute between Cork & Dingle. Worth small detour from N22. Home cooked food, parking, toilets & a dozen tables inside. Met all our travelling expectations.

18/08/2025: Fair portions, staff were nice and food was up to standar, only problem is there was no black pudding nor hasbrowns on the full irish, (idk if its supposed to be like that for I am not Irish) but nevertheless bathroom and atmosphere were amazing. Small place but very cozy :)
