The best restaurants in Cork

02/10/2025: Disclaimer - I have yet to meet a scone I didn't like. With that said, not all scones are created equal. Some drier, some denser, some lighter, etc... That all changed yesterday. I experienced the holy grail of scones. Truly! I don't know what kind of wizardry or sorcery is happening in the kitchen; all I can say is this is quite literally, the best scone experience I have ever had. So much so, I went again today. You know, just to make sure. I nearly wept with the last bite, knowing I would not experience this again until my next trip to Cobh. The coup de grâce was the expertly crafted flat white. I know, I know. It sounds too good to be true. Yet, it's not. A place like this really exists and it might just be heaven on earth.

22/09/2025: Had a breakfast, 2 adults full Irish and 2 kiss one had porridge and one had pancakes. Lovely food, maybe a little cold on the breakfast but was OK. The kids porridge is massive maybe that could be made smaller and price reduced as my 12yr old couldn't eat such a big bowl. Coat for us all was just over €40 not overly expensive but definitely not a budget option. Service was brilliant and the ladies couldn't be more helpful. Also love the fact you can donate your re-turn bottles to help the local hospital 🏥❤️❤️

06/10/2025: New favourite restaurant in Cork. Every bite was delicious, you can tell the chef loves her job and they look after every detail. Strong Spanish influence that brought me back home for a couple of hours ♥️ We will be back, couldn’t recommend this place enough!

11/10/2025: Beautiful view overlooking the pier and coast. Everything was good quality, simple and effective. Nice rooms, not fancy but, quality beds, and very clean. The bar and restaurant are comfortable and well laid out. Staff super helpful and good at their work. Pet friendly also Good value also for B&B, would definitely return.

17/10/2025: Very friendly little cafe with beautiful and good food, especially not to be missed if you go to COBH, but above all what you should not miss eating at this place is the chocolate cake, frankly a killer, honestly I have never eaten such a delicious chocolate cake. Go there, trust me.

12/10/2025: Sea Salt is a charming little café in Cobh, offering a cozy atmosphere and a menu full of creative dishes. There are both sweet and savory vegan options, each beautifully presented and delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. A lovely place to relax by the sea — highly recommended!

13/10/2025: I walked through the front door with my phone to my ear giving final directions to my group on how to get there. I stood right inside the front door (it was cold outside) with the door closed behind me and wasn’t in the pub for 5 seconds (literally) before being shouted down by the clown behind the bar yelling for me to get out. Cobh is a beautiful town with great and welcoming pubs, this isn’t one of them. I come to Ireland annually, this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had.

17/10/2025: Fantastic place, great ambience and good food and drinks! There was a jazz pianist playing (Eric Ranzoni) who was simply incredible and super entertaining!

15/10/2025: A great spot for dinner and live music. Music starts around 8.30 but I’d recommend booking the table starting from around 7.30 to get a good seat.

18/10/2025: Five stars aren't enough! The food was absolutely incredible. I had the calamari and scallops – both were cooked to perfection. My partner had the mussels and Hake and chips, and they were equally impressive. We finished with sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake, which were the perfect ending to a perfect meal. The service was friendly and efficient, and the wine and Murphy's were top-notch. If you're in Kinsale, you have to eat here! It was the highlight of our trip.

05/10/2025: We had a chance to stop here on our way from the Blarney castle to our the Killarney Park Hotel. The village is really clean and cute and the Inn pub did not disappoint. We were only there for lunch, but the management, host & service were perfect. Our server Linda did a great job. They had a beautiful blond manager, I believe her name was Jesse, so welcoming, as was the hostess and apparently the hotel receptionist who had been there five years. The four of us had their fish and chips, which is the best I’ve had. I also loved their seafood chowder and added some of their wing hot sauce. Loved it! Proper poor of a Guinness pint and full bar. I give it my highest recommendation.
