26/03/2025: Had a blast here having a pint after dinner. The bartender was friendly and helped with recommendations regarding beer we weren’t familiar with. We found a small quiet corner and had a blast, enjoying the older building, listening to locals banter around us and otherwise having a good conversation with good beer. This will definitely be a repeat stop for me when I come back through the area.

Went here on a bright sunny day, enjoyed the walk at Cobh and dropped here for some chilled pints.
Amazing ambience and what's even more better is their backyard with tables facing the sea, it was perfectly splendid.
07/03/2025: The service was good, we got a table by the window with a view of the sea, the portions are quite ok, the food is delicious, the staff was very friendly and approachable. I highly reccommended.

21/01/2025: Amazing atmospheric pub, brilliant traditional Irish folk music but the most hostile reception you have ever had. As English people, we were looked at like we had 3 heads and felt incredibly unwelcome with people within the bar staring at us. Also, talking about us and ssshing because talking about us (and English people in general) "would affect money coming into the country"

01/12/2024: We stopped into Arundel’s yesterday as we were exploring this beautiful part of West Cork. We had our Golden Retriever with us and when I asked first if we could bring her in, the barman could not have been more welcoming. We enjoyed some lovely drinks in a warm setting with a great atmosphere. The barman even brought us out a little ‘pup-cup’ of cream and treats for our dog and we thought this was the just the loveliest touch and we really appreciated it. We wished we had more time to spend in the area as we had such a fantastic time and will be definitely looking forward to visiting Arundel’s By The Pier again soon!!

I'm dairy free, yet they made a lovely Hawaiian Pizza with no cheese. Wouldn't even miss it. I'd a lo Ely hot chocolate made with Oat milk and look how it was presented. A lovely treat. My friend , she's Gluten Free, she had a fabulous fully loaded beef burger with gluten free bread. We will definitely be back.
30/10/2024: Just left after a fabulous meal. Two adults and two children - chowder was beautiful and full of flavour, tempura prawn and chips was delicious and the kids shared napolenta pasta and garlic bread.
Highly recommend! Service was excellent and very friendly staff. Will definitely visit again if we come back to clonakilty!

Lee Valley Golf and Country Club
07/12/2024: This venue is lovely. Very friendly atmosphere. The staff were very efficient, helpful and friendly. The food was of a very high standard. I would be happy to recommend the Lee Valley Golf Club for function and also for evening meals. ⛳👍
