30/10/2024: Just left after a fabulous meal. Two adults and two children - chowder was beautiful and full of flavour, tempura prawn and chips was delicious and the kids shared napolenta pasta and garlic bread. Highly recommend! Service was excellent and very friendly staff. Will definitely visit again if we come back to clonakilty!

24/10/2024: A really lovely spot for a good wholesome bite to eat. Very tasty food, reasonably priced for the lovely dishes served up. Great service, the gentleman serving us was very polite and friendly to all customers and helped to great that lovely relaxed atmosphere. Coffee 👌 holidaying in Schull and this place was so good, we travelled back a couple of days later, we enjoyed it that much 😊

20/08/2024: Great spot, lovely skin on fries and burger. Fresh Hake was perfect. Big plus was that our dog was permitted in the outside tented area with us 😀

19/08/2024: The restaurant was open early for dinner, which we appreciated after a long day of hiking. We ordered pan fried hake and roast lamb. Both were served hot and promptly. The staff were pleasant and kind.

10/11/2024: I’m a local and even though I haven’t been here in some time I’ve always thought it was good value and good food but today I was very disappointed. I ordered a Chicken Vol au Vent, it came with only one small pastry and a small basket of chips. Very small pieces of chicken and a bland sauce. This cost €19.50 and was definitely not worth it. They have a Vol au Vent starter that in reality can’t be much smaller so I paid an extra €10 for the chips that came with the main. €1 for a Mi-Wadi is also ridiculous. The waiter claimed a bottle of MiWadi costs €4 and only makes 4 pints! I’d love to see him drink a 1/4 bottle of MiWadi in a glass of water! Deserts were all €9 and €10, far too expensive for the quality.

27/10/2024: Amazing food, atmosphere and service. Genuinely the best food we’ve had in a long time. The menu is small, considered and thoughtful with well balanced flavours. The wine list is well chosen. We were served by a woman who I expect was the owner as well as a very helpful guy named Jack. They cared about their customers, an intimate service you only get in a small, owner operated restaurant. The Baklava is a must! We would travel to dine here again. ⭐️

27/10/2024: Holy baby Jesus this is a nice spot. Thoughtful, everything handmade and delicious. Try the potatoes and the broc. You can’t go wrong.
