The best restaurants in Cork

02/11/2025: The experience we had was very disappointing, we went in got seated and 15 minutes after they took our order. Then 45 minutes of waiting after we ordered we cancelled the food and left because they never brought us our food. Very disappointing and couples across the table ordered the same time as us got their food and left in that time.

29/10/2025: Great food, great smoking area with a pool table plenty seats and heaters

22/11/2025: Ordered two pizzas online. One with extra pepperoni. Very skimpy with the toppings on both and there wasn't any extra pepperoni as requested. Lately I've noticed there has been a change and there seems to be more bread and less filling. I'm definitely taking a sabbatical.

20/11/2025: Omg - Supermacs countrywide have revamped how they do the fish and chips option. The new three goujons fish format is fab. Less batter than before and broken into a more manageable (to eat) and dare I say it, more tasty version. The fish and chips meal ( includes a drink) is 12.95 euro. It would compete easily with any of the ‘fancy’ restaurants and at half the price of what you would pay in them. Wow.

16/11/2025: Really wonderful staff. So accommodating for our 2 year old and 1 year old. Also helped us find the nearest medical care when 2 year old had a medical emergency which we were grateful for as our party was not from Ireland. Before that though, the food was wonderful and they have a nice spacious dining area. Thank you so much!

02/09/2025: The Falafel wrap is great and such a bargain for the price. I've been eating Cork Falafel's wrap for the past 6 months as it's tasty, filling and doesn't leave me feeling sluggish. Perfect quick bite to eat and plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans too.

20/10/2025: We were immediately warmly received by Steve, the barkeep with superb Irish coffees and friendly conversation after our overnight flight from the States. He, along with the other local gents at the bar, gave us a solid recommendations for local food and fare in Cobh and other towns along our way. Slightly apart from the crowds and bulk of the other waterfront pubs, Connie Doolan's offers a heartfelt welcome, smooth drinks, and authentic local atmosphere. I'll always cherish my first and best drink in Ireland at Connie Doolan's! And cheers to the Sunday-drinkin' gents at the bar and our laughs together!

23/08/2025: Disappointed in the experience for lunch, we were expecting more but for lunch the menu is quite limited. The salmon salad was basic and the service was a bit slow. The atmosphere must be better for dinner but for lunch was underwhelming.

19/08/2025: We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view of Irish meadows. The coffee was very, very good from a portafilter machine. They even had oat milk for the cappuccino or café latte. Really good! We also had warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream – absolutely delicious! The service was very friendly and attentive. We had a great time, thank you :)

27/12/2025: Food was absolutely horrible got chicken wings and a chicken burger wings had no taste and chicken was of poor quality the chicken burger was absolutely terrible took 2 bites and felt sick chicken was pink and rubbery

20/12/2025: Despite living a short distance from here i had never been inside this buisness until today, What a beautiful bar and restaurant. Warm welcoming,and beautifully decorated for Christmas.The whole place is spotless.The staff extremely helpful and friendly. We had the full Irish... Delicious, and full of flavor. the rashers ,sasuages pudding and the beans were amazing. And a proper pot of tea. Definitely we will be back... Highly recommended . The owners should be very proud....
