19/03/2025: James on the till is rude and unprofessional always chatting and laughing with other staff while serving the customer and replies rudely when asked a question. Needs a little course on customer service i think.

01/04/2025: After a day spent out in the bad and windy weather it was nice to sit there, had a beer and food. Nothing much to see in Cobh, although it was worth stopping there. Nice views from the hill.

28/03/2025: We had a delicious meal here ahead of going to the Titanic Experience. It wasn't very busy when we arrived but very quickly filled up. The service was fast & friendly & the food was excellent.

03/03/2025: The steak was cooked perfectly, made with high-quality ingredients, and really tasty. However, the prices are too high, and I expected a wider selection of fish dishes. The menu, atmosphere, and service feel a bit confusing. I’m not quite sure what type of restaurant this is trying to be.

21/02/2025: I have never written a review of a resteraunt before but just felt I had to now after my experience yesterday ! I decided to have lamb as main course!! To put it mildly it was like leather ! Could not chew it I thought to myself I should have known better ordering lamb in february! ! I wasent going to say anything but my wife told the waiter that the lamb was uneatable!!! Oh he said i will tell the chef!! I was sure he would come back with some kind of response but nothing!! We went to pay and I was thinking he will apologise and maybe say I won't charge you for your pint! Not a chance Silence only pay up! Needless to say I won't be ever going back there again! we always loved kirbys in ballinhassig always spot on ! Bad experience all all round Dennis!

14/03/2025: Great place for a quick bite. Savage sausage. We shared the Hog man and the Cork Boi and both sided with the latter because of the crispy onion and Ballymaloe Relish. Nom nom. But above the food, a homeless man in front of us in the queue asked for a sausage. The server said he would throw it in a roll for him to which his eyes lit up. The server then gave it to him his food free of charge. It's random acts of kindness that make a difference in the world and I wish all the best to O'Flynns and that gentleman. We'll be back.

04/03/2025: Fui a almorzar aquí. Fui por la caja de salchichas. Es de primera clase. Bien cocinado y abundante. Había poco o ningún tiempo de espera. El personal era genial también y ofreció buenos consejos. Definitivamente volveré aquí cuando esté en corcho de nuevo.

13/01/2025: Has been a local for years and years and imran himself has consistently without fail been beyond friendly. Not to mention the food which is always extraordinarily constantly good. I would recommend the Jack's pizza and the shish kebab which are both excellent.

03/01/2025: Fantastic chipper, centrally located, excellent 👌🏻 menu and reasonable prices! Owner is very friendly and the food is top notch! Will always drop in when I'm in the area! You can call 🤙🏻 ahead and your order will be ready and freshly made!

06/04/2025: "A little piece of heaven" was one of the comments made by our group of 17 who dined in No.19 last night. We had the restaurant to ourselves for a private party and from the opening welcome at the door by Sarah, to the end was a fantastic experience. Everyone's mains were superb.. the standout was the braised Ribs, which we were later told had been marinading for 3 days and cooked for 2!! Charcuterie to start and the selection of desspert tasters was the perfect finish. It was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend. Thank you to Sarah and the team.

01/04/2025: We celebrated our engagement here 2025/3/30 and the staff was so friendly. I had an amazing steak and wonderful time. Highly recommend!

16/03/2025: Overnight stay while visiting the distillery which is a short walk into town. The bar and room were super clean and the furnishings upstairs made me feel like I was back at my Granny's house, which is good!

07/01/2025: Stayed here twice this year. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Showers had great water pressure. Anne and Brendan were great hosts. The bar downstairs is great. They serve a good pint. This is a fine location to walk into Midleton for great food. A nice walk to the distillery as well. We will be back again.

02/03/2025: I've heard many good things about Meeran Gani Manzoor's cooking in Rare at The Blue Haven. Any time I felt like trying, it seemed to be only available in tasting menu format. I experience tasting menus as a not very enjoyable posey rigmarole, so when an Indian pop-up - 2 or 3 courses - appeared as part of Kinsale Restaurant week, we went for it. We had a great time. There's always a good buzz in The Blue Haven, and tonight was no different. Stand out dishes were, Murgh Palken ( kolhapuri style chicken w spinach coriander and spices), Meen Polichadhu (haddock baked onion and tomato masala, Prawn Xacuti (fried shrimp w poppy seed and tamarind in coconut curry) but Rara Gosht (slow cooked lamb w onion tomato cardamom and clove garam masala) was superb. Chocolate Cardamom mouse, delicious. Often, in a group, someone's meal isn't great. Not tonight, four happy diners. I
