25/11/2025: Excellent spot upstairs for getting some work done. Great wifi and good coffee.

29/09/2025: Our second visit here and we had a lovely coffee with sandwiches. Toasted special and goats cheese sandwiches which were delicious. Staff are so polite and friendly. Well done to all involved.

03/01/2026: We had a meal in the bar. Food was good and service was fast and friendly.

02/01/2026: Had some terrible chowder here, luke warm and tasted funny. I was very ill for the next 24 hours after. Seemed a shame as I have eaten here before and it was always pleasant.

07/09/2025: The lobby on entering the hotel was fabulous. But as soon as we got to our room that’s where it ended. Bathroom was not clean, Stains around the bin on the floor, problem with the hose for the shower, kept popping off the shower head, silicone around shower base has mould on it. At €277 a night I thought we would have a mini fridge or cooler in the room but we didn’t.

28/09/2025: Very friendly staff, clean, comfortable slightly old style rooms. Perfect for what we needed and beautiful views. Irene was very friendly and full of local knowledge. She is also an exceptional chef and the breakfast was stunning. The breakfast was served at a leisurely pace and everything was delicious. A relaxing start to the day. We hope to come back again.

09/09/2025: Very hospitable and friendly people. Quaint location. Had a room overlooking an inlet so could watch the tides. The place is a little dated, but the people make up for it. Food was terrific as well.

17/10/2025: Wonderful lunchtime monkfish scampi and deconstructed tiramisu. Probably best to book as quite small space. Went on recommendation as well worth it

30/09/2025: We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Fish Kitchen. The staff were so friendly. A very relaxed atmosphere. Fresh food and absolutely delicious. Irish staff! Authentic. Definitely value for money. Thanks so much! Would highly recommend.

07/11/2025: Lovely location, great menu and great service, and if you're fortunate enough to visit on a fine day, great outdoor seating as well as the year round indoor space.

20/08/2025: Enjoyed a couple of tasty stouts here. Staff and locals (and their pets) were sound out. Lovely ambience to the place with people sitting outside the bar drinking and chatting. Bit of age to the place which gives it an authentic feel. The gallery upstairs is a nice touch and worth seeing. Much bigger premises than appears from the front with plenty of room out back.

09/06/2025: Only available for a tour of the house. Beautiful grounds, very well-maintained garden. The house is clearly in need of renovation, but that doesn't detract from its charm. Unfortunately, no photos allowed inside.

21/10/2025: I'm a regular and loyal client of this cafe. Here you may find delicious coffee and desserts. There is a cozy outdoor courtyard and small shop with treats. 11/10/2025: Lovely cakes to enjoy in the place or take away with a coffee 😀 Salads, quiche, sausage rolls etc look very nice. Of course I bought a very nice Irish bread 😋😋😋

28/11/2025: I had an awful chicken wrap there yesterday. 2 pieces of chicken with very little else. 1 "chunk" of what I think was lettuce and a few bits of cheese. The bacon looked like the fake vegan stuff, finally it was very poorly assembled...I should have gone to Inver deli instead...

25/11/2025: Absolutely disgraceful - got the Tuesday special snack box and to say it was terrible is a understatement, only things nice where the chips and the curry, in each snack box there was what you would think at first look a half eating drumstick as it was mostly bone with a tiny bit of chicken and the breast of chicken awful, like rubber, defo not fresh food. No point trying to ring,they will not answer there phones.. This experience will have me not return to this hillbillies again. NEVER AGAIN!!
