19/04/2025: After avoiding Doyle's for 3+ years due to a serious drop in quality, I finally bit the bullet and placed an order — and I’m happy to say, Doyle's is back to how it used to be! I’ve ordered a few times since and haven’t been let down once. The food is consistently great again. Well done to the team — you're back to 5 stars in my book!

12/10/2024: We had the most amazing time! We were with a group of twelve and were treated to a spectacular day. Kathleen the proprietor was a delight. She showed many in our group how to pour a proper pint and fixed us the most lovely lunch. She was very kind and accommodating, this was definitely the highlight of our trip.

14/05/2025: Lovely place to eat, we are quite local (20min) drive. Without a doubt the best value place to eat within miles and miles. Great quality and great size portions. Highly recommend.

20/04/2025: 12 of us went for a meal 6 children and 6 Adults a fabolous evening was had by all, from the moment we sat down the service food ambience was amazing. absolutely 10 stars. Will return.

23/03/2025: What a surprise the Sea Palace is. Beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated with no “authentic” music to add atmosphere (it doesn’t need any more than it already has!). We arrived early to an empty restaurant and within 30 mins the place was bustling. It got busier as the evening went in, which is always a good sign. Another indicator of how good this place is can be found in the takeaway service they offer. Massive bags crammed full of goodies were seen leaving several times a minute, clearly it is a hit in the area. On to the food - delicious crispy duck was followed by crispy chilli beef and Singapore rice. Hard to describe how delicious this was - cooked freshly with no telltale signs of the dreaded MSG. The taste was exquisite. Portions could modestly be described as gargantuan, so don’t overorder. Book a table to avoid disappointment and get there soon!
