12/10/2024: Fabulous dining experience, full house on a Saturday night provided for a lovely atmosphere helped by laid back, pleasant, friendly staff who were well trained and super at what they do. Great building with old style large shopfront windows. BYO policy at no extra charge which is pretty unique! Every dish was fresh & delicious, mussels, sea bream, haddock, beef all cooked and presented to perfection. Totally enjoyable evening finished off nicely with a reasonable bill. Definitely recommend.

16/09/2024: Fabulous restaurant in the picturesque setting of Rosscarbery village with large windows to take it in and we had the perfect table inside the window to enjoy it. We were advised on arrival of the BYO policy with local pubs happily allowing takeaway drinks to the restaurant or shop with off licence a few doors away. Complimentary delicious bread was served immediately which is becoming more of a rarity. The BYO is also complimentary even though they chill your beers and supply wine coolers and glasses at your table. We started with mussels and portobello mushrooms, our mains included haddock, crayfish & a slow cooked beef pasta dish finishing off with yummy desserts. Each dish and mouthful was cooked to perfection and so flavoursome. Roast veg were served with mains, water bowls not forgotten with mussels, food and service was perfection. Finally the dreaded part……the bill but this was almost as good as the food!!! This restaurant is extremely well priced, something we don’t see these days…….value for money offering superb quality food and pleasant service in a really nice atmosphere makes for a night out that you’ll want to and can afford to repeat several times. Highly highly recommend.

26/10/2025: i was shocked with the idea that the place does not serve wine but they are happy to serve it to you of you bring your own! we had coffee and pizzas ..twice the same day because the kids loved the pizza. the pizza crust is nice and yeasty,the way it should be ,however i believe depending on the chef on duty it is either airier or less airy with thicker base and less bubbly in the evening-still very tasty anyways . you get lovely italian biscuits with your coffee which were yummy and kids got extras cause it was them that liked the biscuits.

28/09/2025: Very friendly staff, clean, comfortable slightly old style rooms. Perfect for what we needed and beautiful views. Irene was very friendly and full of local knowledge. She is also an exceptional chef and the breakfast was stunning. The breakfast was served at a leisurely pace and everything was delicious. A relaxing start to the day. We hope to come back again.

17/12/2025: Had a beautiful dinner here, didn't have a booking but they found a spot. Loved by locals also as kind words were exchanged between a customer and server. Food was excellent and parking outside the door. Will return!!

28/11/2025: I had an awful chicken wrap there yesterday. 2 pieces of chicken with very little else. 1 "chunk" of what I think was lettuce and a few bits of cheese. The bacon looked like the fake vegan stuff, finally it was very poorly assembled...I should have gone to Inver deli instead...

25/11/2025: Absolutely disgraceful - got the Tuesday special snack box and to say it was terrible is a understatement, only things nice where the chips and the curry, in each snack box there was what you would think at first look a half eating drumstick as it was mostly bone with a tiny bit of chicken and the breast of chicken awful, like rubber, defo not fresh food. No point trying to ring,they will not answer there phones.. This experience will have me not return to this hillbillies again. NEVER AGAIN!!

29/11/2025: Great atmosphere, if it’s not because of the fried rice I would give it a 5 star very easily. All the main dishes were well served and super tasteful. The only late that was very disappointing was the egg fried rice. It seems that they just added an omelette on top of the white rice… 😩

25/10/2025: Enjoyed a excellent meal here (Roasted Duck Cantonese) and the service was very pleasant and attentive. I will definitely come back.

02/10/2025: Wonderful food, Niall was warm and welcoming and was happy to look up which of the wines were veggie. Thai red curry and mushroom tagliatelle were absolutely delicious.

21/09/2025: The food looks delicious. It tastes just as good. The menu is written on a chalkboard placed at the table, making it easy to read even without reading glasses. Pleasant music plays in the background, not too loud; it truly creates a welcoming atmosphere. The decor is spacious and filled with elephants. The view is breathtaking!
