06/10/2024: Best Chinese restaurant in cork. Timely in preparation, and consistent in quality. Not a bad word to say.

23/07/2024: You’d never guess when passing but this has to be one of, if not the best Chinese in Co. Cork. I have eaten Chinese all over Ireland and The UK….seriously this is top notch. Regularly get a take away here (only option as no sit down).

27/10/2024: Clean restaurant with polite staff and good food. Prawn toast was unreal. Portion sizes weren't too big either. I would recommend!

21/10/2024: Very authentic Irish pub. The landlord was very welcoming. There are some great artefacts on display and the prices are extremely reasonable. Well worth a visit if you're in Cobh.

16/10/2024: Best pub in town and we had an amazing time meeting the locals who were so welcoming of our dog Kinley. We were lucky to meet local legends Buster and Julie who played an amazing set and also made us feel so welcome.

27/10/2024: Stopped here for some Sunday dinner. Lovely Carvery. Food was delicious. All the staff were very kind and very attentive. Very generous kids portions and adults too. Staff were always clearing away tables and it was a joy to eat in. Glasses and pints of water were available to take. They had blackcurrant and orange beside them for people to add to water. All free of charge. Fantastic idea and first time I have seen this. Plenty of parking outside.

02/08/2024: This has sadly been our worst experience in any restaurant/coffee shop during 2 weeks in Ireland. We entered through the café and went into the “garden”, where we were not served, not being sure if we overlooked a sign that says it’s self service. After waiting for quite a while outside we went inside and ordered our coffees there. We originally also intended to eat some cake, but they seemed a little dry and didn’t look very appealing. There were 3 employees who all didn’t seem motivated at all and were more busy with their phones or each other. Even though there were so little costumers at the café, there have been dishes on several tables outside. Outside we also had old dog-poop right next to our table/chairs and spider webs on the plants on the table and everything was quite dirty. The garden didn’t seem like anybody cared about it at all - even though it would have great potential. The coffee itself was good, but it’s a pity that this cute location isn’t managed better.

30/07/2024: The coffee was good but...... the staff were ignorant from the minute we walked in. For a dog friendly café they didn't give off that vibe when we walked in with our dog. The male who served us the coffee genuinely had one word answers and had a horrible attitude towards my wife when serving her. For the price we paid i thought we could at least enjoy the coffees but ended up talking about how rude the staff were Won't be back but I'd have a word with your staff after reading this if you do. Thank you.

14/10/2024: Visited Last Saturday October 12th Asked girl serving if the had salmon. Got an abrupt NO. WOULDN'T HAVE COST ANYTHING TO SAY NO SORRY. A LITTLE BIT OF TRAINING WOULD SUFFICE

25/07/2024: Colourful and fresh salads and food. Café area upstairs is not very clean. Some of the staff have poor customer skills, like they don' t care at all. Lack of hygiene. One lady from the deli counter was handling and serving food with her hands.

28/08/2024: Very nice and cozy place. Everything we tasted was delicious. We ordered the crab meat soup, and it was amazing. We also ordered Thai green curry, one with tofu and one with chicken, which was great. It's a perfect place for gluten-free and lactose-intolerant people like me.

14/10/2024: Best chipper in cork no word of a lie on god amazing family run buisness the spice bag wrap is absolutly sensatinallllllllll best chips in curry around who ever cuts the chips desverses a raise they are cut to perfection and also the mince usally go in on a monday thursday or saturday but tis unreal must try

23/10/2024: Very disappointed......had a chicken noodle salad for lunch ....it was very small I would said half a chicken breast was used in it... which was served with a bed of lettuce and a small portion of noodles definitely not filling and not worth the money.....I ordered a kids pizza for my grandson which turned out to b a slice of homemade bread with tomato sauce and cheese even my grandson said nana what kind of pizza is this .....won't b returning

22/12/2023: One of the best meals I have had in a long time. The food was beautifully prepared and served promptly. It was delicious and a very full portion. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. There was a good atmosphere. The music was a little old, but each song was a classic. Highly recommended and worth a try. Despite my initial reservations in a smaller locale, this establishment exceeded all expectations with its exceptional menu offerings. Our recent visit saw us savoring the Hong Kong Chicken and Teriyaki Duck Donburi, both of which left an indelible impression. The Hong Kong chicken, reminiscent of Panda Express's Orange Chicken in the United States, was a flavor-packed delight. The Teriyaki Duck Donburi, equally commendable, exhibited an exquisite fusion of flavors and a generous selection of vegetables. 18/08/2024: Brilliant food and staff as well celebrated our daughter's christening! We could not fault a thing. We can wait to go back on a more regular basis. Thank you to all in table 8!
