The best restaurants in Cork

19/05/2025: Plenty of car parking. Food selection is good and tasty. Really needs to work on its efficiency in dealing with waiting customers. This is now the second visit in a row where the time taken from joining the queue, and not even a big one, to be able to pay for the order has been at least 15 mins. When the order for hot food is taken it gets sent off to the kitchen to be prepared. There is no-one seemingly in charge of drinks and cakes. It is only when you get to the till that the cashier then becomes aware of it and leaves the till to fill those orders. I did count 9 people behind the counter today, Surely one could have been at the cake stand to fill those orders and another one at the coffee machine doing hot drinks to help the queue of customers get served faster. One thing that did strike was the younger ages of the staff today and this may just be a part-time job for them. The overall impression I got was that there were no members of management about. I did notice they were advertising for more staff. This isn't necesarily about needing people to work harder, just to work smarter. Hoping for an improvement next time.

30/04/2025: I eat here quite often when I visit Baltimore. Always a nice experience with great food. Sitting out front on a warm dry evening is something special.

10/03/2025: Great pints, proper craic. One of the first places I would come when I visit Kinsale again.

20/02/2025: A proper Irish pub. The barman was really good and happy to have a chat and helped plan our next day's travel route.

13/03/2025: Deli food is usually cold/not cooked fully and often times raw, the staff are lovely but the food is definitely not up to par

10/08/2024: Unfortunately this place is permanently closed. I used to come here a couple of times a year for dinner and the place was always impeccable clean with very professional and friendly staff. The food was always excellent with large portions. The price of the food was always reasonable. The atmosphere was always elegant, peaceful and almost therapeutic. It had the perfect combination of everything. It was very disappointing to find out today that it was permanently closed and soon to be filled with refugees.

24/04/2025: The food was excellent the satay was perfectly accurate with good taste and texture the rice is also good. The chicken balls are a little greasy but not to the point I would have a issue with as the batter it light and crispy. The restaurant is ran well and service it top notch lovely staff too.

15/03/2025: Excellent food, reasonable price, fast turnaround from order to getting food. Everyone very pleasant....always, owner calls us by first name...don't know if that's a good or bad thing when the local Chinese restaurant knows you by name 🤦🏻‍♂️

05/05/2025: The food was very delicious, well prepared. We couldn't eat the variety of fish and seafood because it was Monday, a shame. We had fish and chips and the fish was very juicy and the batter was perfect. The chicken wings are also very good. The chilli prawns were a little bland, but well served. Very good desserts. The best service from the staff, The price is quite adequate.

21/05/2025: Best chip shop in cork county, I've been going here for well over 10 years and Greg has always been wonderful. The staff are very kind and the food is simply amazing, love the chicken tenders especially ❤️

27/05/2025: Really great food and service. Lovely garden center with a great play area for kids. There is even an indoor play area for under 3s. Really want to try the outdoor market on the weekend.

18/05/2025: This is a really good brunch spot, the food was well made and thought out. The garden space and the market on Sunday are excellent.
