30/08/2025: Wow what a gem. This place was hands down the nicest accommodation on our trip and we stayed in higher end places. The owners were fantastic and engaging and the manager was very helpful. It’s nestled in the back of a neighborhood in Mitchelstown (walking distance to town)The property is an expansive oasis hosting red deer and other farm animals. From the time you enter the big wrought iron gates to the time you leave you are taken care of. They will sometimes host a wine tasting in their private cellar of some of their own wines produced in Hungary (outstanding) if you get the chance. You would need to arrange in advance. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, the bed and shower were the best… If I could rate it 10 stars I would We will be back ……

13/08/2025: reasonably priced for this area!!! Good food. Generous portions. Recommending swordfish, and mussels. they were busy and there was a miscommunication whether we wait for the waiter or do we order inside. We will come back.

25/07/2025: Today at 3am who are working now. All oh them. They are extremely dirty. They use a gloves to protect their hands. You better stop making extremely dirty foods

25/07/2025: I was mid order when I noticed the workers using their gloved hands to touch EVERYTHING. One dropped a bottle of sauce on the floor, picked it up, did not change his glove, and continued to put his hands in the food. They touch their hat, receipts, EVERYTHING and then touch the food. Absolutely will not go there ever.

21/08/2025: We ordered a pizza, crepe and a milkshake and everything was really nice and the place couldn't be better located.

17/08/2025: Review: Today we were at Milk's Market Café and we want to congratulate the entire team, because the service was impeccable from the very first moment. They made us feel very welcome, with a warm, friendly atmosphere, and always attentive to every detail. The food was delicious, but what we want to highlight most is how well they served us, with a smile and great professionalism. Eduardo, congratulations to your team; you can clearly see the care with which they work. We will definitely return.

27/07/2025: Avoid at all costs. We stopped in for lunch and my wife found a steel sharp bolt in her panini after biting into it, hurting her tooth but thankfully not seriously. When waitress was alerted she grabbed all evidence before we could get pics and asked us to wait. We waited for 10 mins before I decided to approach the guy seemingly in charge, I asked him for an explanation and he smirked and shrugged, no apology, nothing. Do yourself a favour, if on a road trip through Cork and you find this place lands half way between stops, keep going!

27/07/2025: Appalling experience where I found a screw in my sandwich, hurt my tooth on it. Could potentially have been very dangerous if swallowed. The staff barely apologised. We were left waiting for someone to come back to talk to us, and eventually we left. We have three young kids and I shudder to think what would have happened if one of them had accidentally swallowed that screw. The fact no one apologised or even seemed to care tells you all you need to know about the standard of hygiene of the kitchen.
