24/10/2025: This little gem is worth walking an extra 5 minutes from the main square. Visited first with a local and returned with my husband, who is very picky about his mochas. Lucky for us, Orla—the most gracious and wonderful barista—was there for both visits. In addition to her friendly demeanor, Orla serves up delicious coffee. Though the delights of Grounded Coffee are served from a cute little food truck, they offer plenty of seating… even a cozy, inside area with heat and comfortable seating. And there are great views too. Can’t wait to return!

23/04/2026: I go here once a week regularly. Good food, staff are kind and the food potion is generous. However, if we go around 7pm, they always start to clean and mopping. While we are eating, they mopping and the bleach smells disgusting and feel like eating bleach. They shouldn't do deep cleaning when customers are still eating. It is not very hygienic nor healthy. If they close at 7:30 sharp with deep cleaning, they should not get the customers till that time. Hope they can improve this then they deserve 5 starts.

13/04/2026: This place is great. Been coming here for years and there's a reason. The food is delicious. Small touches matter too, like the ginger scallion sauce which is not available everywhere.  Or soup with some noodles which used to be standard but many places have done away with. Its not fancy, but the portions are very decent and the food is honest. Hope they never change. Cannot ask for more. Bonus, you can get your cakes and buns here too. If I could come every week I'd be a happy bunny.

16/11/2025: Was very disappointed with my experience here. Ordered 2 hot chocolates received one and was waiting 10 minutes to be asked with an attitude “what am I waiting for” - explained I only received one of the two, after another 12 minutes of waiting (at this point I was keeping track) I had to ask was it on the way as I had to leave. I initially went in to grab a “quick” hot chocolate to go - I was informed that it was forgotten about AGAIN. Overall waited nearly 25 minutes for a hot chocolate. I wouldn’t return not simply because of the service but because of the attitude of the female working there.

04/05/2026: The food was okay, but nothing special. What was unacceptable was that we had specifically ordered appetizers and a main course, and then everything was served at once. So we had to eat the already lukewarm main course (mussels) before the appetizer.

09/11/2025: Would probably be busier if not full of teenagers Who just come and go with sweet and drinks not bought here taking up whole back of shop and staff not paying any attention to this used to come weekly this will be my last time as working all week just looking for a quiet coffee on a Sunday afternoon

05/05/2026: The beds are horrible in this place. Woke up with back pain every morning due to the stiffness of the beds.

17/03/2026: Berehaven Lodge is a lovely and comfortable place to stay with a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-kept, making it a relaxing experience. The lodge also offers pods, which are a unique and enjoyable way to stay. The surrounding views are beautiful and add to the charm of the place

12/12/2025: Fantastic restaurant ,playgrounds and walks for families,learn about the animals,walk to find the fairies on the fairytale,fabulous out of this world preschool facilities.

29/12/2025: Lovely spot for a pint, very tasty sandwiches and if you’re lucky enough on the day to have the beef goulash soup, it will warm the cockles of your heart. Top marks to all in Lombards.

11/10/2025: Awful slow service. Waiting one hour in total for my order. When I rang it in was told half an hour collection. Waited around Youghal, went into collect after 30 mins ended up waiting another half an hour standing in the porch huddled around other customers who were also waiting a ridiculous amount of time. I had 2 young kids with me. Food was only ok. I will not be returning. Panda Cookin in Tallow is far better for service and quality

16/04/2026: I had a grilled pork chow mein and it was fine, average flavoring and well prepared. They also had some chili oil as i requested to give some extra spice. I would eat here again.

09/02/2026: Disrespectful to the customer. During the meal, the manager started vacuuming the room for 25 minutes. The portions were small, but the food was quite good. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it. It was expensive. We paid almost 50 euros for a meal like that for two people.

19/04/2026: They are cash only policy and is clearly written in the entrance. There is a nearby ATM though which is good for us. We had 3 starters and craft bottled beer. The starters were top notch. I enjoyed the crab gratin, prawn chilli, and seafood chowder. They offer bread and butter before serving the food. Friendly staff and nice ambience.

10/04/2026: Everything is homemade, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. The fish soup is delicious, with pollock and haddock as the main ingredients, seasoned with lemon zest. The crab gratin is equally good. The service is efficient and attentive. We'll be back...

22/03/2026: Grazzi Grazzi Grazzi Grazzi mile mile mile. This pizza slaps harder than my mamas chinelas 😂😂 charred base, soft but not so soft it flops. Not thick either. Unreal topping filling covered getting filling every bite. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 within a shout for top 5 pizzas. Truly it was sooo worth what I paid and my friend from phillipines get her very first ever fish and chips and loved it. Chips are soooo goood. Crispy, seasoned perfectly, real chips.. this hit all the spots.. seating around the back of the bar.. sooo coming back again. Perfect bookend to a brilliant day out. Again top compliment to the Chef. Also Ps the bottle of soft drinks you get aren’t the baby bottles.. they’re the proper 330 mil bottles. Nice touch 👌
