18/07/2024: Hier kun je heerlijk eten en drinken en is vriendelijk geprijsd. Meestal hoef je niet te reserveren, maar even vragen kan geen kwaad, anders ben je snel overgeleverd aan de wat goedkopere eettenten. We hadden al snel besloten hier iedere avond te gaan eten (3 avonden)

08/06/2024: Pleasantly surprised as had no great expectations.Lovely staff. Brie starter in filo pastry was light and very delicious. Cod goujons were nicely battered and perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

19/12/2025: We just had dinner here, the service was great the girls were very nice and helpful. The restaurant was very big, quiet as we expected. however the food can be improved in my opinion, we ordered onion soup as starter, it’s very salty we can’t finish one third of it. I ordered medium rib eye steak for main, surprisingly it was burnt so much it tasted bitter! More surprisingly when the manager came he explained the food were supposed to be cooked as they were, onion soup should be salty it’s French the steak is grilled to lock the taste in, he might be right but I think the chef overcooked it. The dessert was good!In the end they didn’t charge us for one set (one set menu is 49 euros), they even didn’t charge for the kids set. In general we were disappointed that we were so looking forward to it the restaurant was designed good and the guests have great space and keep their privacy. And the location right in the hotel, imagine if the food is good you needn’t hunt for food outside, it will be perfect!

03/08/2025: Un petit snack sympa et pas très excessif. Personnel accueillant. Une petite salle accueille les clients derrière pour se restaurer.

09/07/2025: Great choice and specials available. Very clean, welcoming and great staff. Had the best Club Sandwich I think I ever had and my daughter really enjoyed her sweet chilly chicken wrap, we'll be back soon.

20/04/2025: Fabulous food severed quickly and as requested. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. I’ve also brought my dogs with me on a few occasions and they were looked after with such kindness

01/07/2025: Vaya, un restaurante irlandés que hace café decente. Empiezo con eso porque nos hemos alojado en varios hoteles excelentes donde solo puedo describir su café como té débil. En realidad, Cedars es una joya. Tuvimos dos cenas muy buenas y dos maravillosos desayunos buffet. Si bien el personal del autobús puede estar un poco confundido, el personal de camareros se aseguró de que todo fuera perfecto. El personal del autobús se olvidó de llevar pan a la mesa de al lado. La camarera se disculpó profusamente y se excedió para corregir el error. Eso es lo que esperaría ver. Me sorprende que la última reseña que veo tenga dos años.

08/06/2024: Soup was rotten. Toastie was nice. Ordered kids meal. €9 for 1 sausage and handful of chips should have went to supermarket across street.. Overpriced avoid...

17/08/2024: ‘Best 2 dinners, I’ve ever eaten’ says the father and that’s saying something. Went for the fish platter - unbelievable. Service was spot on, including my 7 year nephew who was clearly auditioning for a spot on the team. Next time we’re in Sneem, I’ll be there. Unmissable.

07/07/2024: The staff we friendly and the dining room was cozy. Was really looking forward to their fish and chips but was underwhelmed. More like chips with a wee piece of fish. The batter was lovely though but chips a bit soggy.

13/09/2025: Wish I had taken a photo but I was so hungry as a lot of restaurants were booked solid this evening. We were deterred by the terrible reviews but were we ever pleasantly surprised. The service was fast and the meal was hot and delicious. I had the slow cooked beef and it was tasty, the meat fell apart, and the gravy was decadent without being too salty. Overall, we were a table of 3 and everyone was extremely satisfied.

10/05/2025: The food is very tasty. The waiters are very polite and attentive. There was live music. I liked everything very much.
