20/06/2024: Mi marido y yo, y amigos, habíamos sido grandes partidarios de este restaurante, ya que nos encantó la comida, el servicio, la comodidad. Justo antes de la Navidad de 2023 , mi hijo y mi hija nos compraron cada uno un vale por 100 Euros. Por enfermedad, no salimos muy a principios de 2024 , y decidimos utilizar los vales cuando nuestro hijo vino del extranjero en abril de 2024 . Sin embargo, nos quedamos atónitos cuando leímos el artículo de Lucinda sobre el cierre del restaurante, un par de semanas antes de nuestra visita prevista. No puedo entender cómo la gente del restaurante vendió los vales, uno el 16 de diciembre de 2023 y el otro el 24 de diciembre de 2023. Seguramente sabían que no estarían operando en 2024? Estábamos enfermos por esto.

13/08/2025: El pub puede tener su gracia además de no tener otras muchas alternativas. No puedo opinar de otros platos porque solo hemos probado el roast-beef y es un plato, en lo que respecta a la carne, totalmente impresentable. Esperábamos una carne rosadita y nos han traído una carne guisada seca y muy hecha, de un sabor que recordaba la del cole con la hacías bola antes de tragar. Horrible! Ya he dicho que solo hemos probado este plato que figuraba como plato del día.

10/08/2025: We stopped in here to grab a lunch on our way to the cliffs of moher. Staff was very attentive, we were sat right away. Hubby ordered the Guinness stew and I had the fried shrimp with chips and coleslaw. Both items were good. Space is fairly large, looked like they were preparing for a wedding event.

04/05/2025: Extremadamente decepcionante. Hubo un problema con mi plato y cuando le dije al personal que lo devolvieron rápidamente y dijeron que me conseguirían otro. Esperé más de 15 minutos para el reemplazo que realmente no quería porque me pospusieron por completo. Ningún gerente o miembro superior del personal vino en ningún momento para disculparse o preguntar qué era el trabajo o si me gustaría un plato diferente, etc. Tuve que decir que no estoy pagando por este plato al final, me iban a cobrar por él.

08/03/2025: Visité dos veces esta semana - la primera vez el martes de tortitas, tuve las tortitas con compota de frutas y crema y eran simplemente perfectos, eso es todo lo que puedo decir - PERFECTO! Luego visitamos el viernes con mi hija y tuvimos tostadas francesas, hija tuvo la versión Nutella, plátano y fresa (ella es adulta! ) Tenía el tocino y jarabe de arce y una vez más - perfecto - la tostada era ligera, crujiente y justo el espesor correcto y no un poco grasosa, era tocino rayado apropiado simplemente encantador. Date un capricho y visita Noah and Co.

06/01/2026: I was given a presentation in one of the large room and drop in for a sandwich. Very good quality food a efficient service 👌

27/09/2025: Unfortunately went for dinner here and was so disappointed the steak was dry and nothing special . The other meal was reasonable . You could hear a pin drop in the restaurant and no atmosphere. Sad for such a lovely hotel .

11/07/2025: Tuvimos una experiencia muy agradable aquí el miércoles 9 de julio. Nuestro camarero era un muchacho joven, muy amable y servicial, genial con nuestros niños, nos hizo sentir como en casa. La hamburguesa vegana era increíble, muy fresca y deliciosa ensalada en el pan vegano. Los niños pidieron espaguetis a la bolaña, porciones muy generosas. La tarta de queso horneada estaba increíble, los niños quedaron encantados con sus galletas y helado. Lo recomendaría sin duda y volveré por su carne asada.

11/07/2025: Estuvimos allí la semana pasada y la experiencia fue mucho mejor. El personal es muy amable. El pescado y las patatas fritas valen la pena y el rosbif se derrite en la boca. Conocimos al nuevo chef, que también es el gerente de alimentos y bebidas, nos informó nuestro mesero Cian. Quedamos realmente impresionados y volveremos.

31/12/2024: We had dinner and breakfast in this restaurant. The service was excellent with very efficient friendly staff both for evening and morning. More staff than I’ve witnessed in other hotels no cost cutting here. Would v much recommend this

05/07/2025: This is a beautiful popular pub. But it's soo much more. Watching Bar staff interact with elderly regulars was a master class in community care and importance pubs have for elderly members. Food is exceptional. Nothing beats their.roast bit seafood pasta is also stunning. Well worth visit. Not a Whiskey drinker but suspect the bar is the best variety in the country from all the Irish greats to Top Bourbons there's something for everyone. No i was not paid for this but after a bad meal in a 5 Star hotel close by I think it deserved the shout out.

13/06/2025: Amabilidad de cinco estrellas, servicio de cinco estrellas, comida de cinco estrellas y personal de seis estrellas! La gerente, Jacqueline era muy atento y nada era demasiado problema. Para todos nuestros desayunos nos atendió Adithya, una joven con un carisma y disposición maravillosa. Como resultado, nuestros desayunos fueron un punto culminante del día. La elección del desayuno buffet fue realmente excepcional.

06/12/2025: Haven eaten in many Michelin starred/mentioned restaurants, the food in the Yew Tree is of almost/arguably of the same caliber, top class.

23/07/2025: Excellent choice for fine dining in Killarney. Great service, creative cooking. The oysters are a must-try.

23/04/2025: Oh my god a little piece of heaven. My friend took myself and husband for my birthday. We had the hake and my god the taste was something else actually tasted like fish. The pea purée was amazing. Highly recommend prices good staff excellent will definitely be back. I took my grandson a sausage roll home as know he loves them and said best sausage roll he ever had.

05/04/2025: Very poor salad the chicken was over cooked it was hard to eat. Glasses were filthy. Place wasn't very clean and the staff took ages to take the order. Chairs are very uncomfortable. Not very relaxing. And over all poor food.

08/09/2025: Incredible, almost magical spot ! Great breakfast, incredible service. Rooms are bright and clean. Step out to great views and walks or take a short drive to local sights or towns.

13/07/2025: Poor food and service, a group of 10 and everyone was disappointed. Food was not fresh, overcooked and lacked flavour. The hotel appears nice, but the restaurant doesn’t match this quality. The tables were set incorrectly, long waits for any requests and multiple mistakes in the orders.
