26/06/2024: We spent a delightful overnight stay. Excellent service, accommodation and food. Staff was friendly and the rooms were tidy and spacious.

25/06/2024: Few days break away, hotel was lovely and got free upgrade when we arrived, beds very comfortable, food was excellent and staff very helpful and attentive. Will definitely book again

14/09/2024: Stopped in here for a casual early dinner as it looked nice and promising from the outside. Food took AGES to come out, and when it did, it turned out that 3 orders were wrong - we were given an adult version of a kids meal, and a kids version of an adults meal, I had also ordered chicken to be added to my squash dish and they had missed this too. Overall the food was bland and mediocre. One of the burgers was still red in the middle and when I pointed this out to the waitress, she apologised but didn’t offer to replace it or refund. We were ready to go at this stage anyway. Very overpriced, poor experience, won’t be back or recommending.

31/08/2024: Extremely long waiting times. We ordered our food and was told there was a 30 minute wait for food. In total we waited 55 minutes before our food arrived and it wasn’t even hot. Would also point out that we had missed the rush and had no justification for the wait times. When food arrived, staff did not apologise for the long wait and didn’t check if we needed anything else. We will not be back.

15/09/2024: We were there with a large group so we had the entire upstairs and had preordered all meals. Food was very good for providing meals for a large group. Dessert was exceptional. Service was good and the atmosphere was perfect for a large group since we had the second floor to ourselves. Restrooms are limited to two rooms (one with two toilets/stalls and one with only one private toilet room) and they are unisex so don’t be shocked like I was when a man walks out of the stall next to you. Overall good experience.

06/09/2024: Mio Marito ed io siamo stati a pranzo li, la mia pasta era stra cotta, e lo chiesta al dente, i bicchieri avevano le impronte su non so da quante persone, le cameriere lasciano desiderare pensavo sia un ristorante e non un posto dove, a fare le battute coi clienti e provarci col marito, allora hanno sbagliato mestiere sarebbe meglio se lavorassero allora due vie più in la, e non in un ristorante! Da vergognarsi!

29/08/2024: This was once the highlight of our annual trip to Southern Ireland and the Ring of Kerry, but we were really disappointed by the service and quality of food in the restaurant when we visited last week. I'd like to say we were 'greeted' by the staff, but instead we were 'ordered' to go to a table whilst we were trying to view the menu options on the board. The waitress was surly and most unhelpful, unfriendly and found it difficult to get any orders correct. The food was by far a lot less pleasant than previous visits, and overall our experience was not good. When we decided to have one of the famous Red Fox Irish coffees, that too sadly had declined in quality Really will think twice before adding this previously favourite haunt to our list for future trips

26/08/2024: Stopped by for an irish coffee, which was great, but the masses of tourists from bus groups were annoying. Even more annoying was the absurd , not even "Disney like.." village. A complete waste of time and money.

20/06/2024: My husband and I, and friends, had been great supporters of this restaurant, as we loved the food, service, convenience. Just before Christmas 2023, my son and my daughter each bought us a voucher for 100 Euro. Due to illness, we did not go out very much in early 2024, and decided to use the vouchers when our son came from abroad in April 2024. However, we were dumbfounded when we read Lucinda's article about the closure of the restaurant, a couple of weeks before our planned visit. I cannot understand how the people in the restaurant sold the vouchers, one on 16th December 2023 and the other on 24th December 2023. Surely they knew they would not be operating in 2024? We were sickened over this.

18/07/2024: Le restaurant et le bar sont richement décorés, de nombreuses œuvres d'art sont visibles dans tout le complexe hôtelier dont ils font partie. Il y a une belle sélection de vin et la cuisine ouverte offre un peu de spectacle. Des français, et leur savoir-faire, sont en cuisine et en salle. Nous sommes venus 2 soirs et avons été très bien reçus et accompagnés par un serveur d'origine française, ce qui a facilité notre compréhension du menu. En entrée, nous avons pris de la lotte enroulée dans du jambon et des saint jacques pêchées dans la région, tout les 2 étaient succulents. Nous avons ensuite pris des côtes d'agneau qui étaient fondantes et délicieuses, le poisson était également très bon. On nous a expliqué que les légumes accompagnant nos plats étaient fait le plus possible dans les jardins de l'hôtel, et ils étaient excellent. Nous avons fini par un dessert à base de fraises locales qui était parfait.

18/07/2024: Fantastic food and friendly staff. The menu is varied and very good value. Everything tasted amazing and was beautifully presented.

23/09/2024: Golf trip. 2 nights in Tinakilly. Food lovely and ambience perfect. Issue no staff. Staff on were stressed, waited ages for drinks. Other than that we will return. Perhaps this issue will be resolved. Fantastic location.

10/05/2024: Wasn't impressed a bit with this placeshift very rude and food over priced.might suite some people but I just expected more
