20/06/2024: Mi marido y yo, y amigos, habíamos sido grandes partidarios de este restaurante, ya que nos encantó la comida, el servicio, la comodidad. Justo antes de la Navidad de 2023 , mi hijo y mi hija nos compraron cada uno un vale por 100 Euros. Por enfermedad, no salimos muy a principios de 2024 , y decidimos utilizar los vales cuando nuestro hijo vino del extranjero en abril de 2024 . Sin embargo, nos quedamos atónitos cuando leímos el artículo de Lucinda sobre el cierre del restaurante, un par de semanas antes de nuestra visita prevista. No puedo entender cómo la gente del restaurante vendió los vales, uno el 16 de diciembre de 2023 y el otro el 24 de diciembre de 2023. Seguramente sabían que no estarían operando en 2024? Estábamos enfermos por esto.

08/03/2025: Visité dos veces esta semana - la primera vez el martes de tortitas, tuve las tortitas con compota de frutas y crema y eran simplemente perfectos, eso es todo lo que puedo decir - PERFECTO! Luego visitamos el viernes con mi hija y tuvimos tostadas francesas, hija tuvo la versión Nutella, plátano y fresa (ella es adulta! ) Tenía el tocino y jarabe de arce y una vez más - perfecto - la tostada era ligera, crujiente y justo el espesor correcto y no un poco grasosa, era tocino rayado apropiado simplemente encantador. Date un capricho y visita Noah and Co.

01/02/2025: Visitamos aquí un par de veces y el desayuno es muy sabroso. Sin embargo, hoy pedí cambiar un artículo por otro. Retire los frijoles y agregue una salchicha. En cambio. Esto costaría 2 extras. 20 . Ahora eso es malo. 220 por 1 salchicha. Dije que no gracias. El desayuno vino menos los frijoles, pero todavía cobra el mismo precio. Es una pena que la mezquindad se ha introducido en este restaurante que normalmente es un buen lugar para comer. Esto no es culpa de la camarera, pero es mala gestión.

31/12/2024: We had dinner and breakfast in this restaurant. The service was excellent with very efficient friendly staff both for evening and morning. More staff than I’ve witnessed in other hotels no cost cutting here. Would v much recommend this

05/04/2025: My sons brought me here for lunch as a Mothers’ Day treat. We were directed to a dining room which we could smell before we could see it: an overpowering chemical smell which made the simple act of breathing deeply unpleasant. The room felt like an overspill space - not the main dining room we were used to from previous visits, The decor of the room was so bad I struggle to find words - the sickly green colour on the walls, the random furniture to name just a couple of its problems. The broom cupboard left open with mops and trays of glasses (together!) on view as we walked in added to the impression of a little-used overspill area. We would have ordered a glass of something to mark the occasion if we’d been asked. The staff were rushing around, clearly under pressure and the food had arrived before we had a chance to order any drinks. At that stage we decided just to eat up and get out of there as fast as possible. Two positives: the staff were pleasant and the apple pie was delicious. Overall verdict however: depressingly awful.

17/02/2025: Very good price for this quality of food. The portions are super good. The most amazing thing is the wine pairing, great price, careful selection, it is definitely worth a try. The environment is perfect for a date, will come again for sure

16/02/2025: Very disappointing. Spent 210 euros without wine/alcohol. We arrived at 7:00, first dish arrived at 8:30 after I complained about the delay. They told us two drinks were included with the starters, then they put it in the bill and I had to ask them to remove them as they told. They included the 12.5% service tip, which: first, I would have want to decide myself how much tip to give; second, how can you even force to include a tip after you know that you had a huge delay and horrible service like that? I found it extremely unprofessional behaviour which only tries to maximise profit out of customer. On the contrary I would have expected something complementary/free to apologise for the delays, not extra charges. Overall horrible experience considering a price of a Michelin star restaurant.

13/09/2024: Really surprised by previous reviews. Seems like they are describing a different restaurant. Really want to be supportive of Irish restaurants but the food was very poor. Service was great and friendly but ultimately you go to a restaurant for the food and if that is bad, it’s hard to recover from that.

23/12/2024: Primera visita a Rathwood y en esta ocasión, fue para el tren de Santa. Habiendo llegado temprano, decidimos conseguir algo de comer antes de la experiencia de Santa. Fue acomodado por un gerente encantador y nuestras opciones de menú se tomaron rápidamente. Una cosa que noté fue la limpieza activa y minuciosa de las mesas, etc. que vi que sucedió a nuestro alrededor, así que v tranquilizador re limpieza. La comida llegó - nunca había visto porciones tan grandes y decentes, sin duda vale la pena el costo promedio del plato principal alrededor de € 15 por plato. La carne asada lentamente estaba deliciosa y la verdura al vapor estaba deliciosa. La lasaña, la ensalada y el pan de ajo fueron algunos de los mejores jamás probados. Y lo mejor de todo el servicio fue de primera categoría y todo tan acogedor y respetuoso de sus clientes. Estaba muy contento de haber topado con este encantador restaurante, y planean volver pronto de nuevo para otro día en familia.

14/02/2025: Ooo la la! Very pleased with every dish! Very thought, well prepared and presented dishes! Plus you get appetisers, variety of homemade breads and 3 types of butter, and complimentary miniature treats without extra cost. And you have option with wine pairing which is brilliant. Enjoyed every bite, i think they should aim at claiming a Micheline star :) Well done to the chef’s!

17/10/2024: The food was delicious with outstanding service. Lucian couldn’t do enough for you, he really went the extra mile. It was a very enjoyable fine dining experience. Thanks so much
