28/12/2025: Great place for a pint, or some of the non alcoholic options they have. Stopped here for a drink and noticed a party going on and everyone seemed to be having a good time so might come back for a party. Good team behind the bar

30/06/2025: Solo descubrí que el personal decide en el menú No jamón o cerdo porque los inmigrantes que recibieron un trabajo no lo servirán debido a sus creencias religiosas imagina que si lo hacemos en el infierno vienen de lo que nos pasaría.

15/06/2025: Evita este lugar. Comportamiento repugnante del personal mal educado y mal formado. Bocazas y no podían dar una actitud de lanzamiento. No había habitación en el salón, así que nos enviaron al bar. Como un vertedero en el centro de la ciudad con gente regular que nos hace sentir incómodos... El personal del bar no está preocupado como si estuvieran contentos con él. ¡Evita!

02/09/2025: We stayed at the Harbour hotel next door and didn’t even check the rating of the place when we went there. I am surprised by this rating. The food was good. The breakfast is a buffet style and very decent.

20/05/2025: Just don't order the wings. They are basically pigeon wings with mayo, not bleu cheese as stated. However, the hotel is wonderful and the chowder was very good. The breakfast is decent. But get there early, for they run out of potatoes and eggs. You really don't want to miss the eggs; they're perfect.

05/07/2025: I have been so disappointed with the staff and service today. They should be ashamed of themselves for how they have treated me today. I was there at around 13pm today for lunch with my son. When we arrived I said we will seat outside because I am pregnant and I m feeling sick if i feel any smell. I have ordered from the kids menu a chicken salad, fish and chips and a pizza, and a chocolate brownie for desert, my son wanted chips and pizza and I was thinking we could share the food as I couldn't eat much and didn't even know if I could actually eat anything at all. When ordered the girl said if the food was for me or sharing, I said sharing and she said because I wasn't allowed to order from kids menu so I explained I was sick and don't know if I could eat anyways. I have been with my family so many times there and ofcourse I have never ordered from kids menu for myself . This was just because of my pregnancy. The fish was so oily and the batter had still flour in it. No taste, my son tried it and refused to eat it. I had a bite from it and everything else was still in the plate. My son had 2 slices of pizza, i have tried it also and the dough was so mushy. After this, we got our plates cleaned ..even if the plates were still full, the staff didn't ask if everything was fine with the food. We got the desert and I wanted one for myself also. I have been refused the desert as the staff said she wasn't allowed to add on my order from kids menu, i said she doesn't have to as I can take one from the normal menu, but she said thats not available on that menu, so she refused to get me the desert. I have left the restaurant and I don't think I ever felt so disgusted with the way everything was handled.

25/05/2025: I was so looking forward to this and I was very disappointed.mushroom starter were only out of a packet ...no flavour at all .....pork belly was disgusting...spuds were cold and not nice ...like smash so not good ....looks nice on paper but didn't enjoy ....burger mmmmm no taste at all more lettuces than anything...dessert was just ok .....now the staff .....dropped my knife but no one can to replace it ...girl twice came to the table and didn't take the empty water bottle and replace it till I got annoyed and asked her.....all the did was stand around talking..I even had to go to the bar to pay my bill as they were all in talking...sorry to say we didn't enjoy this and certainly wasn't worth €79 ....won't be back and no k wouldn't recommend to Friends either.

25/06/2024: Estoy absolutamente asombrado de cómo cualquiera con un indicio de un fondo de cocina podría servir lo que me sirvieron hoy - fue nada menos que impactante ... . . El pan estaba rancio. El tocino demasiado cocido y grasiento. Los hongos viscosos. NO había ninguna característica de canje en esta placa y pagué 16 € por ella? Ni siquiera me preguntaron si estaba bien. 31/07/2025: Meant to write sooner. I stayed in Bellinter with my aunt who has some mobility issues in early June. I knew it was an old house so pre-checked re facilities etc. Well I can only say from reception, all restaurant/bar staff, the welcome & hospitality shown to us was outstanding. I have stayed here before & always enjoyed. But this was extra special. Everyone including maintenance dept were extremely helpful & kind. It’s such a pleasure to experience this. These are just a few of the names of great humans I came across Serena. Shirley. Tina. Sharon. Deniz & Shona. Many thanks. The dinner was Devine too! Beautiful fresh ingredients & great wine list. The only suggestion I’d give, is a bit more attention to the cooked breakfast in the morning. Otherwise great selection of fresh fruits etc. thank you 🙏🏼

08/06/2025: Delightful dinner meal. Well cooked, fresh ingredients, and great flavor. Surprisingly, the most delicious crème brûlèe I have ever had (trust me). Kind and friendly service. Relaxing seating.

21/08/2025: A five star experience here the other evening. Went with my mother and partner and blown away by the whole experience. The three course menu is great value for Ireland, the wine list comprehensive and, most importantly, the service outstanding! Kudos all round.

04/08/2025: Visiting from West Virginia enjoyed great food and atmosphere. Gavin did a wonderful Irish coffee demonstration. Definitely the icing on the evening😍

06/07/2025: Wouldn’t recommend for a young family - no high chair and no mash potato Starter prawn cocktail was average Ordered a medium cooked fillet steak - first steak was cremated so sent it back, asked again for medium and received a rare fillet in its place - 38euro for the fillet = hugely disappointing

02/05/2025: So disappointed with jumbo scampi definitely frozen and poor value for money. Looking forward to a meal after many years away.

22/12/2024: Without a doubt , the worst fish and chips I have ever been served. My wife had the smoked cod, was thinner than a slice of sliced bread. The batter was practically non existant. Now to the ray that I ordered. I come from Raytown (Ringsend) It was disgraceful. To serve what I got was just horrendous. Inside the overcooked thin lair of batter was the smallest piece of Ray I have ever seen. I've been eating Ray all my life and this was the worst I have ever been served. The excuse I was given was that is all they could buy from their supplier. To which I replied , why did you buy it if it is inferior. And then try to pawn it off on customers. Needless to say Sharkys will never see us again. Dreadful food and the staff with their take it or leave it attitude was not a lot to be proud of.
