12/03/2025: Well-decorated gastropub full of screens so a good spot to watch sport if the atmosphere isn't an issue. Not many people there for a major sporting event on a Saturday afternoon. Service was not great. I asked if they had an IPA. They said they didn't although I saw afterwards that there was one on tap. The Smithwicks I chose instead was a little short of a full pint. Not enough to send back but just indicative of a lack of care. It was brought to me without a beermat even though the counter I was sitting at was stone (or stone-like composite). There used to be a full separate vegan menu. That has been replaced by nothing. Not a single vegan option on the current menu. Staff didn't even attempt to offer suggestions. Chips (only option) were fine if a little greasy. The grease wouldn't have mattered much had we been given napkins. Condiments would have helped too. I'm told the pizza was decent. Prices were normal for the area. Staff didn't seem to care much. Nobody checked if we needed anything and when paying the bill they didn't ask if everything was okay. They just did badly on the most basic things. There's nothing there for me to eat so I won't eat there again anyway but I doubt I'll be in for a drink either.

Tengo una hamburguesa de pollo con papas fritas, la hamburguesa de pollo parecía que estaba justo en la freidora de grasa, era completamente de gran tamaño y en su mayoría migas de pan, sin salsa completamente seca. Las patatas fritas olían y sabían a aceite vegetal. Muy caro y decepcionante

06/04/2025: Dillisk is inside the Harbour Hotel and a very welcoming place. Our first visit was on a rainy Irish morning after an overnight flight which left us weary and hungry. The kind and professional Grace and Lana provided us shelter, coffee and pastries while we awaited keys for our new flat at the docks. Since moving in we have happily returned for delightful and delicious lunches there and plan to return for dinner outdoors soon.

04/04/2025: Great food and service. Poor acoustics makes loud guests unbearable. It's bad enough to avoid altogether.

19/11/2024: Excellent food! Perhaps my very favorite meal of my Irish adventure!!! The Vegetarian Wellington was delicious. Really, really, really good!!!

22/08/2024: Good location but I don't think this place serves food anymore. Sadly just a tired looking pub. A shadow of it's former self.

30/03/2025: We went with my family to get something to eat , the food was delicious, the staff really friendly and patient (thank you Olivia for going the extra mile) and the place was super clean, can’t recommend enough

05/08/2024: Mi amigo y yo salimos de un largo viaje a la ciudad y ambos necesitábamos usar el baño en el 108. Cuando salimos a pedir nuestras bebidas, el camarero dijo "no se puede usar el baño al mismo tiempo, no es una buena mirada", ambos pensamos inicialmente que estaba bromeando, pero para nuestra sorpresa en realidad era serio. Nunca en mi vida había experimentado algo así, y cuando preguntamos por qué era un problema nos dijeron que podíamos encontrar otro pub. Horrible camarero horrible y nunca volverá de nuevo.

13/10/2024: Docked in here on a Sunday midday for breakfast/brunch. Place was well full but it's Sunday after all. Got a table down the back, fair enough. Good varied menu in there but first thing that hits are the prices. This is an expensive spot. Full Irish breakfast is € 16:50 ! Can I keep the plate ? An hour later I was in Knock Airport and the full Irish was cheaper up there ! And we all know airport prices. Ordered an uneventful scrambled egg and bacon which was slowly consumed waiting for my cappuccino that finally arrived from an under pressure young waitress. It came with toast. Hooray. Asked for marmalade. They were all out. Interesting...... I'll know for again......

06/01/2025: Took a few family members into Kinsale, but the experience here at this particular bar left a very bad taste in the mouth. It's bad enough the behavior and attitude of some patrons, but the staff too? I've been going to bars for a fair few years now, I don't think I have ever experienced the carry on nor the overall tone I heard and seen in the Lord Kingsale. Would not recommend on any level.

10/03/2025: Nice quiet place for afternoon coffee, with relaxing atmosphere, plenty of outdoor and indoor seating space and nice welcoming staff and the coffee is good :-) recommended :-) and the coffee is even getting better :-)

09/11/2024: Awful! Never again. Entered the pub to get some dinner with my little dog in my arms. The reception was anything but welcoming. Lashing rain outside and very few customers inside. We were told we would have to go outside. We have visited twice before and had breakfast with our dog so it is incomprehensible. Anyway we will never go there again. The weather was atrocious and I wouldn't even put a human out in it!

20/04/2025: Had the Dim Sum yesterday and it was absolutely delicious 😋 I cannot wait to go back

19/04/2025: For superb Asian food, Jalan Jalan is the place to go! When my favourite restaurant (Jalan Jalan) closed a couple of years ago, I was so sad. But, now Jalan Jalan is back! It has taken a few weeks to get to go and I'm delighted to say my old favourite dishes are as good as ever. And there are also new things, like Dim Sum .... very, very authentic Dim Sum!.... on the menu. Equally important is that the same friendly staff are there to greet you. If you want superb Asian food, Jalan Jalan is the place! And the prices are good too 😊

14/02/2025: The bar staff kept skipping songs half way through - absolutely ruins the atmosphere.

26/01/2025: Went for bottomless brunch. I will give credit that the drinks actually felt bottomless even with it being quite busy however, the chicken and waffles I got was a pretty small portion and the chicken was dry and just felt like it was in the freezer for a long time and the waffle was so dry it would get caught in my throat. In the past the food here used to be exceptional. Really disappointed that the quality has really gone downhill

14/01/2025: Nice selection of beer. The staff are friendly, but it is a Galway pub after all so it's not surprising the staff are friendly.

26/10/2024: I had haddock and it was not pinballed and when I was eating scales were coming directly in my mouth. It was not scaled as well and the quantity was not enough. Very bad experience with haddock. 1/4 and 1/2 pounders are nice.

21/11/2024: We had a lovely Sunday lunch, it was warm and cozy in the restaurant. The Irish stew and Roast dinner were both excellent. It was overall a nice experience. The food was hot and the Chef even came out to say hello! We will recommend to our Irish family and friends. Definitely a stop on our next visit.
