15/02/2025: Fresh cod and chips and battered sausage ordered. The fish was stuck to the paper bag and all the meat fell out of the soggy batter. Battered sausage was also soggy, chips not great either. There isn't a decent chipper in Bray.

04/05/2025: Can't fault the food it is delicious but the prices have gone through the roof. We also spent 100 euro and they wouldn't give us a bag of prawn crackers, they wanted and extra 5 euros for them.

26/04/2025: The sushi was delicious (California Roll), we tried the KARI DUCK NOODLE SOUP and what a delight, it has that spicy curry flavor. We also tried the Beef Ramen Soup and maybe it could have been richer, however it was good, the BBQ Ribs were delicious too. The atmosphere is very pleasant, you can talk and enjoy the moment. Super recommended.

06/01/2025: Took a few family members into Kinsale, but the experience here at this particular bar left a very bad taste in the mouth. It's bad enough the behavior and attitude of some patrons, but the staff too? I've been going to bars for a fair few years now, I don't think I have ever experienced the carry on nor the overall tone I heard and seen in the Lord Kingsale. Would not recommend on any level.

02/06/2025: Had a late lunch here and it made our day. It’s not easy to find a place in rural Ireland that does food and ambient surroundings as well as this. Each dish was incredibly well presented, fresh grown produce from their garden, the taste was sublime and the staff organised, professional and friendly. Decor is really well done too. Our dogs were welcomed- quite rare in Irish eateries in our experience. We’ll be back and will be bringing friends and family.

29/05/2025: Avoid. We arrived for 1.15 lunch and were not offered water or menu. At 1.50 we looked for waiter and asked for some service. It was plain to see staff were severe pressure. When food did come, some of the meat was completely raw. Burger was like jelly inside and chicken was pink. It's my second and last time to dine there. Last time was just as bad, but I decided not to leave review as maybe it was a once off. I don't like to ever leave a negative review but this place is a joke.

06/06/2025: Pedido de 2 bacalao y patatas fritas. 22 euros. Un desperdicio de dinero. Espantoso. Batido grueso. Chips empapados. Podía saborear la harina que había impregnado al pescado.

29/03/2025: Really poor in every level. Delivery over 30 minutes late, already on a delivery that should have been much quicker. And then when it arrived was dry cold and tasted like plasterboard.

29/05/2025: I placed an order at 8:25pm and it was scheduled to be delivered at 9:30pm, more than 1 hour and yet the pizza was delayed another 26min to be delivered, that is, more than 1:30h for a pizza to be delivered.

12/05/2025: The worst pizza we have ever eaten! We ordered two pizzas and received them from the store, one was burnt and inedible...! We paid €56 for the two average pizzas....we never gave this money anywhere for take away! I will cry the money for a long time…..

16/04/2025: Love this place. Great gastro pub food and amazing beers. Lots of lovely staff, occasional grumpy bar staff - to be expected in Dublin! Worth a visit for the drinks selection alone but the buttermilk chicken is also outstanding.

10/07/2024: We visited from UK and was really shocking to see this was the only LGBTQ+ bar in Galway. Bar was very small and atmosphere was definitely off! However host and bar persons were brilliant! Music was available on request which is always fun and plenty to choose from on the cocktail menu

03/07/2024: From Canada, in Galway durin our spring break in March. I had horrible experience. Looked up gay bar. Excited to go on late aftenoon with my str8 brother in law. Just to be made fun and ridiculd by bad queen i guess hosting a str8 girls night. All for that and great for doing...but once we walked in, door not locked, NOT EVEN A SIGN OUTSIDE saying closed fir private event. Once i heard it say thats why door is closed...made me sooo pissed off at how you treat new guests. In my world, you put a sign on door saying private party. Not make fun of tourist who just wanted to go to safe gay place. I will NOT recommend this place, and hope someone will open another gay place to go...or at least fire that wannabe queen. She not even a princess.....just trash.
