And the waitress were rude, even after I confronted them on their "mistake", faking smile behind her words "I am terrriibly sorry". Fish and chips were not even fresh and not cooked as described in the menu. The fries were still cold inside. The price was way too high for the quality and quantity anyway. To Avoid.

25/10/2025: Private birthday party on the 1st floor. Great but very small room with private bar and waiters. Perfect for a gathering of up to 50 people. Downstairs was like a pub restraunt when I arrived and then turned into a fully packed nightclub when I left. A great spot to spend an evening.

02/01/2026: Most expensive roll in Cork? I've been a customer of the deli here for a good 20 years, but I've found their prices and habits of overcharging have just gone crazy. Despite advertising prices for various rolls, no matter what you get in it, you will be charged the highest price. I've often got a 4-5 item roll, and you will still be charged for 8 items. I recently started to ask for the 8 items, out of principal, and now they are charging €7.50 for a breakfast roll. False advertising and overpriced. Insane.

06/01/2026: Had lunch here. Best thing about the place are the views. Fish and chips -- The coating on the fish was rock hard and tasted of old, tired grease. The fish was overcooked and had a very strong fishy aroma and taste. The fries were not bad and ended up being the best part of it. They charged €19.95, a very high price, which emphasises the fact this place is a big-time tourist trap. The servers were working at a furious pace and not very friendly. They would snatch a plate away almost before you were finished eating. Forget eating here, it's not worth it. Having to go through the gift shop to get to the food says it all.

26/07/2025: If this Chinese takeaway was any better, I’d propose to it. Every single dish is very good, crispy, flavorful, and made with so much care. Myself and my wife were here for holiday staying in the Fitz caravan park. I have to say, the bad reviews of this place here on google is so fake. Otherwise there has been huge improvement because i couldnt recommend this place enough. The crispy chilli beef absolutely beautiful with a perfect balanced between sweet, spicy, and crunchy. The salt and chilli chips are so addictive. Portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the owner and counter girls are such genuine beautiful people always chatty and friendly and carry a smile that could cure depression. The food arrives piping hot, even when delivered, and every bite tastes like it was made fresh because it was. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re doing yourself a disservice. It’s not just the best Chinese takeaway in town it’s the kind of place that ruins all other takeaways for you. 10/10, no notes, just pure deliciousness. 🥢🔥

05/12/2025: cafe and staff are nice and polite, only downside is how expensive the sandwiches are and how little they taste of anything. Spending nearly €10 on a simple cheese, tomato and onion sandwich for it to be 80% onion. It literally tasted of nothing it was bizzare, wouldn’t go again.

18/10/2025: Girl at the drive through was extremely rude and kept interrupting when ordering. Got a garlic cheese chip with about a teaspoon of garlic sauce just on the top with little to no cheese. Chips were horrible and half cold. Manager was lovely

13/11/2025: Absolutely horrible experience with ordering a kebap. Have been furious about how i was served like a dog for a while now but never left a reply or revieuw, since this place left such a sour taste in my mouth, now each time i order a kebap from another place which is today, i literally get furious thinking back to this place for how my food was packed like it was packed for an actual dog, i decided to leave one now. Our kebap was packed into a ball, all the meat just stuck and forced into half of a sort of kebap tortilla? (They're using the half of soggy pita bread and calling it kebap BTW) and scrunched up into a literal ball into aluminium foil. We had to unwrap the literal pressed ball and by then, the whole "ball" was soggy. We had to pick our kebap meat from out of the pita bread balls and eat it like a dog on the plate. Furthermore, it was absolutely not fresh, it was doused in sauce to the point it leaked trough the pita bread and again, scrunched up to an unedible ball to the point you have to pick the kebap meat OUT and eat it on a plate. If i wasn't a woman, i would have gone back to this place and smacked the ball of a kebap on the owners face and told him to try and eat it like he expects us to eat it. How this has 4.7 stars is beyond me.

23/07/2025: I had haddock and it was not pinboned and when I was eating scales were coming directly in my mouth. It was not descaled as well and the quantity was not enough. Very bad experience with haddock. 1/4 and 1/2 pounders are nice.

23/11/2025: I had a really frustrating experience with an online order from this branch. The delivery ended up at my neighbor's house, and when I called to sort it out, they just insisted it had been delivered without even checking who signed for it. The manager wasn't helpful at all and refused a refund initially. After a bunch of calls, I still didn't get any compensation, even after waiting four hours for a new order. Plus, my drink was missing! The manager was rude and totally unsympathetic when I explained I'd come to the branch to sort things out. In the end, they only replaced the food, not the drink. To make it worse, the manager claimed their driver doesn’t ask for names upon delivery, just drops it off, and then insisted I was lying because the driver has been with them for 12 years.
