17/07/2024: This full Irish breakfast that is just under €14.00 euros. Everything included in the full Irish traditional Irish breakfast. That is served all day. With prices and quality this restaurant has pushed its priorities to the limit with great satisfaction. The staff were more then happy to assist with the food ordered and  anything else that was required. The menu in this grill restaurant is simple, yet has alot to offer to satisfy your hungry needs, for all foodies. With quality food served in a comfortable spacious indoor seating area. With an interesting and attenative interior. This restaurant will definitely give you top rated quality food at affordable prices. Highly recommend.

01/07/2024: Breakfast Right on the money if you’re looking for somewhere to have a good old breakfast in Cork centre. The couple who run this joint make you feel so welcome and the breaky was spot on!

03/06/2025: A woman behind counter serving customer whilst banging and slamming bins shut, and cursing under her breath. I was with my little girl and the two of us were so scared that it was our turn next that we turned on our heels. She then said ARE YOU OK... so I told her I definately was not ok with her cursing in front of my child. Totally unacceptable. Everyone has bad days at work but try to conceal it next time maybe.

19/11/2024: Excellent food! Perhaps my very favorite meal of my Irish adventure!!! The Vegetarian Wellington was delicious. Really, really, really good!!!

22/08/2024: Good location but I don't think this place serves food anymore. Sadly just a tired looking pub. A shadow of it's former self.

25/05/2025: It was one of the best takeaways I have had in Dublin. The food was delicious and tasty, and the portions were quite big. I would recommend it to anyone who likes Malaysian or Chinese food, or wants to try something new.

24/05/2025: I am a Malaysian and missed my country food so much, came here few times caz the food is really good same as I have in Malaysia like chicken kung po, chow mien, curry beef rice Sometimes, when I have gathering with friends will order mega box which is really a good deal and they also provide delivery service. Oh ya, their service really improve a lot, the cashier is really polite and fulfils my request. Cheers, Rialto

02/01/2025: Had an amazing time at the wishing well yesterday,good food,drinks flowing good fast service,staff very friendly ,Emma went above and beyond for us there was 12 of us all together ,will definitely be returning,highly recommend 😀

18/03/2025: We have eaten here many times and always found it good, however last Sunday we went here for lunch, the bar was packed so we went to the dining room just off the bar, the service was very very slow, the two girls serving could do with a lot of training, the food was second rate, my beef and Guinness pie had a black crust and the veg my wife got with her food looked as if it was there since the day before,this place used to be good but now we wont be returning

14/03/2025: It was great to find somewhere open for food at this time of the year and it was excellent. I’ve visited here many times before and it’s always had a great ambiance along with excellent food. I’ve just finished a seafood gratin which was superb. Filled with high quality fish and prawns in a very tasteful sauce. Try it. It epitomises the best of an Irish pub restaurant to me. Keep up the good work.

23/04/2025: Stopped for some lunch when passing through. Relatively small menu, as expected for a cafe, but the options were so nice that I struggled to choose. Went for a pulled pork ciabatta and my wife had a ham and cheese toasties. Herself was also impressed by the cute teapot and saucer set her tea was served in. The food was fantastic, with quality and quantity to suit the €9 per sandwich price.

19/04/2025: Horrendously rude woman who I think is one of the couple who operates the place. She shouldn't be in a customer facing business.

09/03/2025: Out for a nice walk today at Giles Quay and was peckish and we were heading to Carlingford lunch when we spotted Fergusons on the way out Well we thought we’d try this place and it was the worst decision we ever made Looked good on entry and there was a nice buzz inside. That’s where the niceties ended. We were seated and menus given out and drinks ordered, the Guinness was top notch, we ordered chicken wings for starters and they took 45 minutes to reach the table They were just okay Another 45 minutes later our main meals arrived, I got slow roasted beef with mash and vegetables my wife had battered cod with skinny fries and peas We don’t usually review food but I feel that I must warn you to steer clear of this place I don’t really know how to describe the beef dinner only to say that it was a massive plate of gooey mash with plenty of overcooked beef on top with lots of overcooked roasted potatoes and vegetables basically it was a plate of gooey mush The fish dinner wasn’t a whole pile better The service was very poor as I had to go to the bar myself on 2 occasions We ain’t hard to please but this was the worst dining experience we have had in a very very long time Steer clear

03/03/2025: Had heard good things about this bar/restaurant but was even better than we had hoped. The service was phenomenal. The staff literally couldn't do enough. Were attentive without being annoying and were so friendly. They made good recommendations and the food did not disappoint. We had the seafood tacos and chicken kumbo for dinner. Both excellent. Portions are big but that didn't stop us ordering desert which was also delicious. Had the homemade tiramisu and cheesecake. Could not fault the service and the location is so stunning. It was getting dark as we arrived but would definitely recommend a walk in Giles' Quay before/after visiting the restaurant. Will definitely be back.

05/05/2025: The chicken and the burger was so nice but the fries were the worst,so big, cold and so dry and tasteless. Maybe if they can try and make the fries small or medium and cook them well

09/06/2025: Supposed to open until 6.00 pm, I arrived at 4.30 pm, looking for a coffee and a snack. The two dour youngsters behind the counter told me I could not have one of the sausage rolls on view, and could only have a coffee in a takeaway cup, as they were closing at 5.00 pm. I won't be back.

15/04/2025: Great location, but we were waiting almost 20 minutes for a cup of tea and the place was filthy. No vegan options.

13/04/2025: We have visited The Good Room many times and most of the time the food is very good. There’s good choice on the menu and something for everyone. However, the service is an issue unfortunately. It takes far too long to order , we’ve often had to wait a good 15/20 mins after seating and then have to go get a waitress ourselves or try to get the attention of one. It’s a pity because as mentioned the food is consistently good but poor service leaves a bad taste I’m afraid.

16/03/2025: Was delighted to try this cafe after hearing such positive things about it. My friend and I both ordered the pulled chicken on flat bread. We were both dissatisfied with the quality of chicken. All we got was the grey meat. Afterwards we both felt gawkey thinking about it. For the price charged I would have thought there would be some white chicken! Not sure if I would go back again after this unless it was for a vegetarian option!

05/05/2025: Ci è stato consigliato dal nostro hotel, ma le aspettative non sono state pienamente soddisfatte. La cameriera ha sbagliato la comanda delle bibite e ci ha rifiutato il caffè perché aveva già pulito la macchina (ma non era tardi, anzi c'erano ancora diversi altri clienti). Il cibo però è buono, anche se non troppo curato. Il pub attaccato, in fin dei conti, sarebbe stato più interessante.

16/04/2025: Nous sommes allés du côté pub pour prendre un dessert. L’ambiance est fort agréable et le service sympathique. Les desserts étaient très bons, nous avons passé un super moment 😊
