04/08/2025: Worst experience ever! Think twice before going, your night can be ruined very easily The staff is very rude and aggressive. I had a very bad night there. The bouncers working that night were disrespectful, touching and speaking to me aggressively and inappropriately. Refusing to give me the possibility to show my ticket that I bought online without giving me any reasons and with the same ticket my friends got inside the club. So the explanation for this rudeness doesn’t exist or maybe is related to some kind of discrimination but of course i will never know because apparently it is not my right to know why I experienced all of this. Its your choice to still go and give it a shot but remember that I was alone with my tears and my frustration and no one helped me there. I want again to say thank to my friends that supported me. Be careful because this can happen again and maybe next time Is gonna happen to you or your friends.

06/07/2025: Terrible Experience – Missing Items, Poor Quality, and Unhelpful Service The last two times I have ordered delivery from Supermac's & Papa John's in Blackrock, both times the experience has been extremely disappointing. The quality of the food has fallen off a cliff. On this latest order, a whole 14-inch pizza was missing from our delivery. When we called the restaurant immediately, the person in charge refused to replace the missing pizza so we could all have dinner together and instead told us to complain to the delivery company. They even suggested that the JustEat delivery driver might have taken the pizza, which IMHO is absurd given the delivery was only 10 minutes from pickup. And the staff made no effort to check if the pizza was sent out with the order? You would know if you sent a pizza out 10 minutes ago??? The food itself used to be good, but was awful. The chicken coating was like biting tarmac, especially at the ends, and the chips were now cold after our delivery time had been changed 3 times, and very soggy. After paying over €50 for a quick takeaway meal on a Saturday evening, I would expected much better from what used to be a reputable establishment for a takeaway. Missing a whole pizza is completely unacceptable! I have a video of our delivery before last, which has two bun heels on the same burger, a "sprinkle" of lettuce and a "a threat" of burger sauce. That's one of the reasons we ordered an extra burger sauce, which was paid for, but missing from the last order! Customer service on this issue was completely unhelpful and dismissive. Do not bother replying asking me to email or contact elsewhere — go to your restaurant and see for yourself what customers are experiencing. A once good takeaway brand is now truly awful in terms of food quality and customer service. If I could give zero stars I would, I will definitely not be returning.

26/07/2025: If this Chinese takeaway was any better, I’d propose to it. Every single dish is very good, crispy, flavorful, and made with so much care. Myself and my wife were here for holiday staying in the Fitz caravan park. I have to say, the bad reviews of this place here on google is so fake. Otherwise there has been huge improvement because i couldnt recommend this place enough. The crispy chilli beef absolutely beautiful with a perfect balanced between sweet, spicy, and crunchy. The salt and chilli chips are so addictive. Portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the owner and counter girls are such genuine beautiful people always chatty and friendly and carry a smile that could cure depression. The food arrives piping hot, even when delivered, and every bite tastes like it was made fresh because it was. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re doing yourself a disservice. It’s not just the best Chinese takeaway in town it’s the kind of place that ruins all other takeaways for you. 10/10, no notes, just pure deliciousness. 🥢🔥

20/05/2025: Just don't order the wings. They are basically pigeon wings with mayo, not bleu cheese as stated. However, the hotel is wonderful and the chowder was very good. The breakfast is decent. But get there early, for they run out of potatoes and eggs. You really don't want to miss the eggs; they're perfect.

Nuestra primera visita fue en una mañana irlandesa lluviosa después de un vuelo nocturno que nos dejó cansados y hambrientos. Grace y Lana amable y profesional nos proporcionó refugio, café y pasteles mientras esperábamos las llaves para nuestro nuevo piso en los muelles. Desde que nos mudamos, hemos regresado felices para deliciosos y deliciosos almuerzos allí y planeamos regresar pronto para cenar al aire libre.

31/05/2025: Some of the service was relatively lackluster, menus were dirty, and the restrooms and restaurant weren't particularly clean. The food was good, though. Gluten-free pizza and pasta available.

18/05/2025: We ate pasta there. Everything tasted like it was pre-made sauce with lots of garlic powder. The food wasn't good. The service was very friendly and nice, but very loud, as the dishes we ordered were constantly being called into the kitchen. The restroom was simply disgusting. It wasn't cleaned, it was incredibly dirty. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

26/08/2025: I brought back a full inedible fish here once to ballincollig, and the manager at the time, she told me I could not get a refund even though I had a receipt - I was told to take a new one or nothing! It was very imbarasing infront of the other costumers. I contacted Dinos HR in November 2023 when this happened, but I got only one reply, and I got no satisfaction. I go out of my way now to go to Bishopstown; they are far superior in every way. August 2025 now and still no Satisfaction.

13/07/2025: Service appalling, food was cold, saw my fish sitting under the heater for at least 6 minutes. Chips cold. All the food was dried out. Not a friendly member of staff to be seen. And no one actually looked up to see who they were serving and nothing else said except for salt and vinegar. I found my whole experience there as distasteful as the food. Will NOT be going again.

16/08/2025: Took an hour and a half to get food, pints were flat, order was wrong, would not recommend or go again.

10/08/2025: First time ever staying on a mobile site. Best break I've had in years. The food has been absolutely amazing.. presentation fab .. delicious ..so nice and everyone lovely. Can't wait to be back here soon. Edel has really looked after us for our stay here so special! Tara

15/06/2025: Great hotel, big comfy bed, nice bathroom, friendly helpful staff. The only disappointment was that the breakfast could be better quality tastier products. Deserves more than its 3 star rating

21/04/2025: Clean room for £80 per night, friendly staff and the location couldn’t be better. The hotel could do with a bit of renovation etc but it’s more than reflected in the price!

17/07/2025: I wouldn't be going back here. The order for 3 was completely wrong and flung together in a bag. Tables were left uncleared. Not a nice experience.

16/08/2025: Nearly always late and no matter what time of the day it takes 45 mins to a hour the food order has been wrong a good few times and when i rang to say the service was disappointing I got sarcasm and anger back from the manager because I had called before about the service ..unreasonable and late service ..please change...edit still no change in anyway food quality gone way down not one bit of the staff care about what they do

10/07/2024: We visited from UK and was really shocking to see this was the only LGBTQ+ bar in Galway. Bar was very small and atmosphere was definitely off! However host and bar persons were brilliant! Music was available on request which is always fun and plenty to choose from on the cocktail menu

03/07/2024: From Canada, in Galway durin our spring break in March. I had horrible experience. Looked up gay bar. Excited to go on late aftenoon with my str8 brother in law. Just to be made fun and ridiculd by bad queen i guess hosting a str8 girls night. All for that and great for doing...but once we walked in, door not locked, NOT EVEN A SIGN OUTSIDE saying closed fir private event. Once i heard it say thats why door is closed...made me sooo pissed off at how you treat new guests. In my world, you put a sign on door saying private party. Not make fun of tourist who just wanted to go to safe gay place. I will NOT recommend this place, and hope someone will open another gay place to go...or at least fire that wannabe queen. She not even a princess.....just trash.

03/08/2025: Kate (the owner) and staff were lovely. Rooms had charm and were clean. Breakfast was great too! Do wish we had all day tea and coffee available. We also could not bring any outside food in. She and her staff were able to accommodate a family of 20~/10 rooms.

08/08/2025: Dined on Friday at lunch and had a very pleasant experience. Food and service excellent. Well done to all. Lovely ambiance.

15/07/2025: Awful experience. The manager, a blonde lady, got confused with me and other man. I am now “barred” as I am bald and look some way look like a man who spiked a drink and who this establishment says “caused trouble”. They will no longer serve me or when I brought my mother. I recommend you drive on to Avoca. At least the service will be fair.

01/08/2025: Been coming here for 10+ years and the experience today was terrible. Informed the veggie burger no longer on the menu despite being one of the only veggie options there, order was wrong and the chips were so overcooked they were brown and poisoned with too much salt. Disappointed. They also cut the fish my mum ordered in half to give her a smaller piece after it was already cooked (witnessed them doing it).
