09/11/2024: My family and I called in for dinner as we drove past a few times and always said we must try the food. Well, i won't drive past it again without calling in for food. The food was fantastic and I couldn't fault one thing. The staff were very friendly and good fun. We will definitely be calling in again .5 stars, P.s. The turkey dinner is amazing, and plenty on the plate 🍽 😋

15/09/2024: ….und sicher das Beste in Portmagee… Sehr nette Hospitality durch den Service… Immer äußerst gut besucht… Seafoodchowder ausgezeichnet… Fish & Chips nicht in Bierteig, sondern paniert ist leider nicht mein Geschmack….Fleischqualität beim Ribeye…naja…das geht anderswo in Irland um Einiges besser… Fazit: gemütliche klassische Pubatmosphere mit Licht & Schatten… Aber immer eine Empfehlung wert…

03/09/2024: Wow, 10/10 for service, comfort, welcome and flexibility with getting a last minute table. We arrived late in town after checking into our nearby B&B, we headed out for dinner. Arriving at 6.30pm, the tables were full but we were made very welcome and the manager kindly placed us on a table which was booked from 8.15pm leaving us plenty of time to enjoy this fantastic restaurant. The drinks, service, food and atmosphere was 10/10 and really was a WOW evening. The staff couldnt have been more welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed and amazing seafood chowder and seafood pasta. All delicious, fresh and blissfully tasty, cooked to perfection. What a beautiful small town this is and I cant wait to return. This are blew me away for sheer beauty and friendly locals.

08/11/2024: Supermac’s can be likened as a Salt Republic. They add much salt in every thing plus the foods have lost good taste. More like lost glory. I won’t eat or buy there again after a horrible experience. Pls Improve.

20/11/2024: I got kicked out for having no money after my older sister was paying for me too share her food. I was with my friends and since we all were sharing I was discriminated and disgusted by how the manager handled this situation I will never come back and will tell my family how I was treated. 0/10 don’t waste your time and money on a place of discrimination

12/11/2024: Drove an hour to get here and they said they close at 10:00 it's currently 9:49 and I'm sitting outside with an empty belly and a frown on my face would someone please open the door and don't be sly

29/09/2024: Wow what a breath of fresh air to stay somewhere so clean and beautiful. The rooms were better than most hotels and the breakfast was superb . The host was also extremely nice . We just had a lovely stay and would be delighted to return . 100% recommend .

29/09/2024: Firstly I would like to say What a wonderful place to stay The host Freda is absolutely a lady Took care of us so well We travelled from Clare for a 2 day fishing competition and she treated us like we were her own Kind Generous Mindful for what we were doing Excellent food Excellent accommodation And she made it her business to make sure we were catered for.! (Not many places do!) Freda Thank you May God bless you And please God we will see you next year

02/07/2024: Me and my bro goes we both order a plain cheeseburger but when I opened my burger there was sauce 😠 I ordered a plain cheeseburger and there's sauce? I swap with my bro and geuss what THERES NO CHEESE. My bro order a cheeseburger and there's no cheese how is that possible its just meat and a bun now😡

13/11/2024: Loads of used cups, trays lying around and the glasses we got were filthy. The replacements were no better. Typical Costya Coffee really.

18/08/2024: Nous avons fait une halte dans ce lieu pour y déjeuner. Les gâteaux et plats salés étaient delicieux et généreux, nous avons simplement trouvé le prix des boissons trop onéreux compte tenu du prix des plats. L'accueil est souriant et agréable.

04/10/2024: This is the third time I have placed an order for food online, and they haven't even started to make it when I arrive 20+ minutes later.

21/09/2024: Food was bad. Service was shocking. Staff are rude, food is slow and not very nice. We had takeaway pizza one night and the staff were rude and slow. Dinner the next night and the staff were so terrible. I can't stress enough how bad this place is

29/07/2024: Was there for a christening it was a big party of us 20 + service was terrible and the attitude of some of the young staff was dreadful. My main course just came with mash gravy and chicken no veg. I was told it is a one man show and we always serve the veg 15 min after. I never heard anything so ridiculous in my life But the other mains were served with veg others got their food maybe 20 to 30 mins after others had eaten. It was a circus and I will never return. Very unprofessional and worst of all so rude

18/10/2024: So i have been here on a few different occasions. There spice box is consistant and its ok not amazing but it does the job. There fried rice very bland pure white not a bit of brown tint to be seen. Fried noddles do be burnt. Curry,Oyster and black bean sauces all flavourless no seasoning its like the chef has no pride in there cooking what so ever,so sad to see.

18/10/2024: We lost our hotel last minute and the managers and servers here took care of us in a way that was above and beyond expectation. We felt like family and friends when we left. They not only provided fantastic food, but went out of their way to make sure we were safe and had a roof over our head and a place to freshen up after our travels. Thanks for everything, and we definitely plan to return for a sandwich and a Guinness one day soon!
