10/08/2025: Had a pint and a generous glass of wine on heated area in front of the bar. Lovely location lovely view of the harbor and a lovely price.

09/07/2025: We a family of 4 walked upon The Anchor while visiting Dungarvan. As it looked busy we decided to have lunch. Glad we did. We had two fresh cod and chips and two burgers and chips. The fish was fresh and tasty. The burgers were Devine and portions large. Highly recommend The Anchor for food if you in Dungarvan. Lovely clean pub in a beautiful setting overlooking the harbour.

Lisgrey House

22/07/2025: Stopped for dinner on way to Dublin. Food was lovely, freshly cooked, really tasty, great value and lovely staff. We will definitely return.

30/06/2025: Haven't visited the Lisgrey house - was looking to book a family meal for 8 to celebrate a birthday but having read the most recent reviews chose to book elsewhere. Hope this is helpful feedback for the management.

25/01/2025: We have a family lunch here on New Year 2025. Great portions of food and very delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will come back again for sure. 👍

05/10/2024: Absolutely delicious and fresh. Super friendly staff. Another restaurant I'd love to take home with me. So, if you're looking for a restaurant in Donegal, I highly recommend this one.

18/09/2023: Dog friendly. Good food. Little expensive i thought but it was really nice flavour. Chicken gougons had a harf cripsy coating and the smash burger was really good. Order took a bit long but we'll worth the wait.

02/09/2023: Good food, friendly staff. I had "Squash bhaji" which was really good. Chips could have less or non salt, especially for kids meals.
