11/03/2025: We went in to get coffee and a scone. There was a cashier/waitress behind the counter with a short, shaved hair style. She was incredibly rude, made us wait, and when we asked what the pastries were, she told us and walked away, completing ignoring us again and starting cleaning. It was not busy, no one else was waiting, and there were several staff.

09/03/2025: Long, long, long, long waiting. Have been queuing for 40 mins, ordered and paid for the food, and another 20-minute-waiting. The food was ok but the portions was different.

22/12/2024: The elevator smells like someone has shit in it!!!

21/10/2024: Had high hopes of this place. My 2 mates and I booked this residence months ago for the Ireland All Blacks test match weekend. For today to email and say your booking can no longer be honored. Therefore your booking is now cancelled. Terrible customer service. Would never book or recommend this place to anybody. Cheers Noel

01/01/2025: Nice wee cafe with plenty of choice, also glutenfree (GF) options available. I had a tasty GF breakfast fry, which had all the usual ingredients - I was pleased they had actual GF replacements, instead of just taking ingredients off the plate. My da had a great plate of (regular) fish and chips, too. Lovely place for a quick bite to eat!

28/12/2024: After cooking all through Christmas we looked forward to a fish and chips tea with curry sauce and peas. The place was absolutely heaving so I guess everyone else had the same idea. When we got home and opened the bag we were very disappointed. The fish although loads of it was obviously a frozen version which had just been recooked in the oil it was tasteless. As for the chips they were undercooked it was clear they were so busy they didn’t have enough time to cook the chips properly they were greasy and undercooked sticking to the grease paper. On the whole the meal was a disaster and at over €30 we will not be going here ever again. You have been warned.

13/03/2025: Popped in today for lunch. I’ve never had a chipper as bad. Tiny portions and the chips were somehow both raw and burnt in the same bag.

19/01/2025: Dinner at the Hardyman Hotel in Galway was underwhelming. The dining room lacked atmosphere, with cheap furniture, plastic plants, and unused tables giving it a storage-room feel. While the staff were friendly, slow service and poor training let them down. The food was good, but the space doesn’t match the charm of the hotel. A missed opportunity in an otherwise lovely setting.

19/11/2024: Tuvimos la desgracia de ir a este restaurante el fin de semana pasado, simplemente deberíamos haber girado y salir después de nuestra 1 calle unos minutos, ya que podíamos ver claramente a dónde iban las cosas. Estuvimos de pie durante 4 minutos con 4 o 5 empleados entrando y saliendo y ninguno de ellos reconoció que estábamos de pie allí. Cuando finalmente nos sentamos (estuvimos reservados durante semanas) nos dieron menús y nos dejaron 20 minutos antes de que nos pidieran incluso una orden de bebidas. Solo había otras 3 mesas sentadas en la noche y un muchacho en una de ellas tuvo que subir y obtener menús 3 veces ya que el personal seguía jugando con ellos. Las apuestas eran deliciosas, por lo tanto las 2 estrellas, pero todo lo demás estaba muy por debajo de la par para un llamado restaurante 4 ☆. Incluso el pudín salió quemado y la roulade apenas se veía en los platos que eran tan pequeños. Nos sentimos muy decepcionados e insultados por nuestra experiencia.

20/02/2025: Bad experience with drive through, not a once off. Ignorant and argumentative behaviour with soggy overpriced food and has not always been like this but it not worth the hassle now. Manager seems nice but he needs to clean it up badly firstly with attitude. But 23 euros for that experience!! Never again. It's bad when a manager has to apologise for his staff behaviour!!!, and when you pay good money for a service it's unacceptable

13/11/2024: Besides the fact that I did not get what I ordered, the burger was had nothing in it except for the chicken. For €7.50 for a burger I’d except at least a piece of lettuce.

12/04/2025: Where do you start.... 17:00 on a Saturday The downstairs restaurant only serves a fraction of the menu, pizzas only. Departures kitchen was closed for 30mins, when it opened there was a very poor selection of food, bacon & cabbage and garlic roasted potatoes!! €9.70 for a pint bottle of cider and €7.90 for a Guinness along with a 10minute wait for both. Empty glasses and plates on every second table and absolutely filthy floors. What has become of Shannon Airport, such a shame

03/04/2025: Small breakfast , food cold , sausage sour and porridge for €24 , BT of Bulmer €9.70 . Best advice is eat and drink before you come to the airport

24/02/2025: Pedimos dos cafés, comida y un zumo de naranja fresco. Pedimos el jugo mientras esperamos nuestra comida y cafés solo para que nos digan que toda la comida y bebidas tienen que servirse juntas, así que cancelamos nuestro jugo. Vergüenza como comida era encantador. ¡Una lástima lo del zumo!

18/02/2025: Esperé más de una hora para nuestra comida sabiendo que estaban ocupados, pero la gente que había venido después de todos nosotros consiguió su comida. Preguntó servidor que puso excusas pero no quiso comprobar en nuestra comida. ¡Luego nos dio la mesa junto a nuestra comida! Cuando fuimos a revisar dónde estaba la comida, el gerente fue desdeñoso y grosero y también fue grosero con la mujer que había tomado y puesto en nuestro pedido. Después de una hora y 15 minutos nos trajo la comida de otra persona que fue enviada de vuelta. Terminamos saliendo después de una hora y media de espera. Comprende perfectamente que podrías estar ocupado y podría haber problemas con tu sistema de pedidos, pero hablar con un gerente sin disculpas o incluso comunicación básica con los clientes es terrible. Nunca volveremos.

25/12/2024: Désolé, mais c'était un des pires repas de l'année. On était à l'hotel parce que notre vol a été annulé. Les repas furent offerts, mais....cela n'excuse PAS la médiocrité de mon Irish Roast beef dur comme une semelle accompagné d'une purée nulle. Le chef dervair avoir HONTE à servir des choses comme ça!

02/01/2025: Had two meals mine was brutal rice completely over cooked cold chips and chicken was substandard my partner had fish and chips. Chips cold as well and more batter than fish Completely unsatisfactory spoke with staff and wasted my time.

16/01/2025: This is the worst of Dublin’s Apache. It is not recommended. I had problems with the order, and the staff was apathetic and unable to answer a very simple question, continuing to repeat the same two things. I prefer any other Apache of the many in Dublin.

21/10/2024: Skarriff Inn is one of the few places on the Ring of Kerry that can accommodate the numbers of passengers who travel on motor coaches. It's a busy place with a typical gift shop and a cafeteria style buffet where you line up and order what you like from the selection of classic Irish offerings. I chose a smoked Irish Salmon plate that included two types of smoked salmon, some Cole Slaw and Potato Salad...and found it fresh and quite pleasing. I was hungry so I also tried the seafood chowder, steaming hot and aromatic. The chowder was outstanding. Friends ordered the Shepherd's Pie and others chose sandwiches. A staff member carried my tray to a table that was unoccupied...a nice touch. Food is, of course, tourist priced...not inexpensive, but all considered...this is a suitable place to stop for lunch. The dining room is charming and has splendid views...I've had lunch here a couple of times over the years and will probably return on a future trip. Enjoy.

17/09/2024: Stopped here on a Globus tour for about an hour. Enjoyed some hot chocolate and Bailey’s Coffee both very good although expensive 11€ for-them. The benefit- amazing views and picture opportunities. Bring tou wide angle and telephoto !

06/03/2025: Unable even to get access this time with my loungekey, staff member at entrance wasn't very sympathetic or nice. I'm not sure whether the place was full or if they are just making money on charging people who don't have lounge access already. Not impressed.
