09/02/2025: As I sit outside the chipper I wonder, I can't seem to find where they made this blunder.
I asked for a club but they gave me a Coke, it went almost as far as making my order revoked.
The chips were nice but the cod was great, I can't quite see why they get the hate.
Thanks to all the staff at the Chipmongers, have a great day and keep feeding the hunger.
12/01/2025: Hadn’t been here in a while. Got the fish and chip meal. Awful! The fish batter was completely soggy and undercooked. Didn’t stick to the fish at all. I managed to eat just the fish which was tasteless but all the batter went in the bin. Only heard after that it has changed hands. Matter of time before it closes for good if this is the kind of food they are serving.

14/02/2025: Food is amazing and so reasonably priced compared to food places in the airport Tea was only 2.80 compared to €3.50 next door to it

12/05/2024: So gutted it’s closed down and for sale.
Bunny’s has been a firm family favourite since I was a child myself, and my own family loved going here.
I hope those who ran Bunny’s all these know what an important part they’ve played in our lives and how grateful we are to them for decades of great food, great service and great memories.
I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say we wish you all the very best.

The Singing Pub

01/09/2024: Had been recommended this pub from a few sources and as I was staying at a campsite nearby decided to go there for an early dinner on a Sunday afternoon with my dog.
On arrival there is a sign saying ‘please wait to be seated’ and after 10 minutes of waiting and no-one acknowledging me standing there, I asked the barman if someone would be over - he said to just find a table, which I did. Must have sat for about 15 minutes being ignored by the waiting staff who just kept walking past me and I had to intercept one member staff and ask for my order to be taken. Food arrived quickly and it was ok - nothing special.
I was then hoping to be offered the dessert menu but after sitting, being ignored again, for probably 20 minutes I decided to just ask for the bill. I also had to ask a couple of times for the bill !!
All in all quite a disappointing visit and on that basis I wouldn’t be recommending it.
26/08/2024: A big group of us ate at this very busy restaurant. It is outside Downings and there is a large but busy car park. There is also a children’s playground for when you are waiting. Service good although you need a lot of time as restaurant very busy and quite big. We ate at 5.30 pm and there was no music. I don’t know when they have music or why it is called the Singing Pub. A good range of food choices. Quite large portions. The children in our group did not like the pizza. Brie on bruschetta was tasty but huge. All in all a good option for a large group but booking essential.
