The best restaurantsof irish

09/05/2025: Ok food (reason i'm giving more than 1 star) reasonably priced and clean. However the service I got was absolutely awful. I got the full irish which you get a free tee/coffee with. Personally I can't have caffeine (medical reasons), therefore I asked for a decaf coffee. Yes I could just ask for a hot chocolate or something however i thought for something different would be nice. I made it very clear to the waitress atleast twice of my order at the till, which seemed ok so I sat and waited. Fast forward 10 or 15 minutes later and she came with my cappuccino. I asked, to double check, if it's decaf to which she slowly said no. I then (again) explained i can't have caffeine and would like a decaf coffee instead. As she was taking it away she HUFFED as if it was all my fault. My friend noticed she wasn't writing anything down while ordering, and the restaurant was fair quite at the time (that said she did seem to be the only one behind the till.) God knows if I had another food intolerance. Again a few minutes passed and this other waiter came with a cappuccino. I asked if its decaf which he said yes to (this turned out to be my friend's which I didnt know we got the same drink lol). A few seconds later the same lady came out with my coffee. I again questioned if it was decaf where she said yes. At this point I gave it to my boyfriend as I felt couldn't trust them. After drinking it he said there's 100% caffeine in there (I definitely felt more awake after a few sips myself) The waitress seemed to not give a toss about being there. What makes it angry is the way she dealt with the situation. I also work in hospitality (including being a barista at times), and I myself had times where I might make a mistake. However I'd always rectify them and show good customer service. She literally lied to me about what type of coffee it was and made me feel bad for asking to send it back. The manegers really have to give their employees a customer service crash course or something Great start to the day 😃 A few extra points: at first I ordered a mocha, however was charged €12 when the menu said €11.50. When I asked about this she said the mocha was an extra 50 cents. She never said that prior nor as far as I could tell it said on the menu. Also the food came before the drinks, which i thought was a bit weird as usually its the other way around. These weren't not that much of a deal however, just thought I'll point these out aswell.

09/03/2025: Have tried the pasta a couple times and it was awful. Low quality and maybe cooked wrong. Chicken was chewy and flavourless. Other dishes could be good though

24/05/2025: Shocked at the huge prices in here, went in to order x2 Med chips and a portion of kids nuggets, 19.50 Euro. ARE YOU HAVING A LAUGH. Went across the street and got it for 11 Euro. At these prices you wont see Xmas.

03/08/2025: I ordered the Pièce de Bœuf Irlandais with grilled onion, fries, and pepper sauce. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The striploin served was of noticeably poor quality, especially considering the €46 price tag. It was extremely chewy and difficult to eat. I had to send it back and reorder, but the second attempt arrived overcooked and still lacking in tenderness or flavour. A real let-down for what should have been a premium dish. The rest of the dishes were ok.

23/07/2025: Мы были в прошлое воскресенье вечером, народу никого — встретили нас дружелюбно. Внутри уютно: кожаные диванчики, белые скатерти, тихая и романтичная атмосфера — хорошо для пар или небольших компаний. Ресторан на Railway Road 17–18 в Далки, кухня французская с ирландскими морепродуктами. Меню только а-ля карт, цены высокие — блюда по 30–45 евро. Алкоголь подают, бронь возможна. Детям и шумным компаниям — не подойдёт. Я взяла луковый суп (пробовала впервые) — обычный, без вкусового «вау». Муж заказал чаудер — жидкий, не сливочный. На горячее у меня был рыбный пирог — пресный, без специй. Муж ел рыбу на гриле — норм, но не восторг. Лобстера, ради которого пришли — не было в меню, что расстроило. Обслуживание отличное — персонал вежливый и внимательный. Атмосфера уютная, интерьер классический, стильный. Плюсы: – Красивый интерьер – Отличный сервис – Тихо и спокойно – Необычный вход со звонком Минусы: – Дорого и маленькие порции – Меню скромное, еда не удивила – Лобстера не оказалось. Сюда стоит прийти ради атмосферы и сервиса, но не ради кухни. Красиво, спокойно, но вкус не оправдал цену.

20/07/2025: Maravillosa comida y batidos. Tostadas Francesas y tocino delicioso. Un poco de entrenamiento de camareros mejoraría las cosas. Uno de los nuestros era un poco despistado - tuvo que pedir dos veces por todo. El gerente era excelente - se encargó de un servicio de almuerzo muy ocupado con aplomo. Volveré seguro. Es un lugar encantador y si no estás en una carrera loca funciona. Barrista se toma su tiempo para hacer un gran café, también pero en el buen sentido con cuidado.

01/05/2025: I originally had given this restaurant a 5 star review on the back of having been there a number of times. However, having recently returned, I found that this place has dropped a lot in quality and service. I believe it has changed hands/under new management and it would appear to have gone downhill since then. Such a pity, it was a great place to eat and family friendly.

11/04/2025: Unfortunately, food was just ok and that's me being "generous". Service felt like we were back in 90s. Atmosphere was like a nearly closing down place. Huge potential in the right hands,but definitely not into whomever runs it now. I'm not the person to complain and haven't said anything while settling the bill (which was 74 euro for 2 people and not even a "thank you" received). Won't be rushing again to eat here,for sure.

30/07/2025: Tge best food ever, freshly made everything is perfect nice and fresh and warm, the staff are so welcoming abd friendly 😊 😀 😋 definitely recommend this place

13/05/2025: Its one of the best kebabs I've ever had. Thank you so much it was delicious 😋 I only ate half cause it was huge and kept the other half for later. I will definitely order again to try everything. Quick delivery and affordable place.

25/07/2025: We stayed for 1 night B&B and dinner . I want to commend your staff, in particular Brenda. She is truly exceptional, friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive. She went above and beyond at every point during our stay, from lunch to dinner. Her positive attitude and excellent service were standout features of our visit. Food was gorgeous, we had lunch, dinner and then breakfast the next morning and it was perfect.

21/07/2025: This hotel is set in beautiful grounds in the small village of Cootehill. The staff we all friendly and helpful we had a Spacious room with a balcony. Breakfast was cooked to order with a great choice. We had a package which included a 2 course evening meal and a bottle of wine great value for money and the food was very good. They have an amazing spa area but we did not use the facilities hoping to avail of that next time. Could not fault this hotel and would definitely go back again.

30/08/2025: Horrible! The worst service I've ever had in my life. Veronica was completely dishonest when she said she heard the employee say they couldn't place the order anymore, when in fact she asked me to redo it and confirm the order on the website. This was after I begged them to place my order, which was within the store's closing time, but for some unexplained reason, they closed the kitchen early. On top of all this, the last two pizzas I ordered came with watery chicken and a strange flavor. I went to give it a third chance today and ordered it, and they acted like this. Unfortunately, even though I liked the pizza, I won't order it again, much less recommend it.

30/08/2025: This establishment is deplorable; the service is horrible; they don't care about the customer. I understand that the servers are working, but we all work. I got home tired, ordered a pizza I was dying for, and went to bed hungry, because in my opinion, the servers only care about themselves. Please improve, both at work and as people.

03/07/2025: Great weekend! Such good food and unbelievable views. Life guard patrolled beach 100m away. Free space for kids to play in full view of parents. Perfect place to come spend time away. X
