21/12/2025: We waited almost an hour for one cup of tea! We only went in for a short cup of coffee and ordered a couple of food items since they had nothing that would normally accompany a coffee (a bit strange for a place that has cafe in the description). Food came before the drinks and the drinks were lukewarm at best when they did arrive. The coffee was horrid. We ordered spring rolls for €10 and there were only 3 on the plate :/ That's over €3 per roll. The service was even worse as we had to ask about the tea several times and were informed they'd forgotten it each time. An hour later once the food and our coffees were empty and we'd already payed, the tea came boiling hot and so weak we decided not to drink it after all. Only thing that we actually enjoyed was the ceasar salad. Overall it was a huge disappointment and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

21/12/2025: Visited with a group for a quick coffee and light bite before a Christmas concert. As this was around 2pm, we expected traybakes or similar, especially as the venue describes itself as a café, but none were available, leaving us forced to order full food items. We ordered four coffees, one tea, spring rolls and a Caesar salad. Despite ordering drinks first, the food arrived after around 30 minutes and the drinks came much later. The salad was nice but very expensive. The spring rolls were extremely poor value - €10 for just three rolls. The tea was forgotten three times and only arrived five minutes before we had to leave, despite us being charged in full beforehand. It was very weak and not enjoyable. It may have been a bit busy but for tea thats unacceptable. The coffee was also poor, and the milk tasted off. Slow service, poor value for money, and disappointing quality overall. I would not recommend going into this restaurant unless you are prepared to spend more than the value of the food and get forgotten.

01/08/2025: Been coming here for 10+ years and the experience today was terrible. Informed the veggie burger no longer on the menu despite being one of the only veggie options there, order was wrong and the chips were so overcooked they were brown and poisoned with too much salt. Disappointed. They also cut the fish my mum ordered in half to give her a smaller piece after it was already cooked (witnessed them doing it).

20/08/2025: We booked this campsite for two nights. It turned out to be a campervan site right at the front of the campsite. In this corner, along the road and in front of the terrace, there are several very small campervan sites—similar to parking spaces with a tiny strip of grass. Many other sites on the campsite have much more space around them. We were unlucky because there was a large family with lots of children and a lot of noise next to us. They couldn't find us another site, so we left disappointed. Unfortunately, we didn't get our money back. So, check carefully which sites you book.

19/10/2025: Truly awful experience today for lunch. We had been on many occasions before and were always wowed by the atmosphere food and service. A group of 6 of us arrived for lunch today and were seated next to a group of 50 people which appeared to be a christening. The noise was deafening, children running around screaming and staff were few, and very overwhelmed. The food was really poor, the accompanying salad with the prawn tempura lacked freshness, the steak was as tough as old boots with no marination, and the ice cream for dessert was similar to what you’d get at a children’s birthday party. I complained to management and they did discount the bill, a solid gesture but not what I was looking for! We were looking for a nice meal in a ‘small leading hotels of the world’ restaurant but it felt like a cross between McDonald’s and a roadside cafe. Management need to step up, this is APPALLING, and we will not be stepping in there ever again

06/12/2025: The hotel is located in an easily accessible area, right in the heart of the nightlife. The Temple Bar area is a five-minute walk away, making its location a real plus. However, be aware that you'll hear music from the surrounding bars and clubs until late at night—even on the top floor where we stayed. Furthermore, our room was very cold, and the shower only provided lukewarm water, which significantly reduced comfort. The friendly staff and excellent location are positive.

06/11/2025: This is not a 5 star hotel but I'm leaving a 5 star review because it was perfect for me and my two friends. We wanted somewhere city centre for cheap, just for one night. We asked for three single beds and that's exactly what we got. The beds were so comfy, the bathroom was a good size and the shower was lovely. We had everything we needed. We didn't need luxury, just a bed in a warm place after a night out. There's no TV in the room but we didn't need that. There is a tea and Nespresso coffee machine though. You're five minutes away from a Luas or shops, it was perfect. We felt very secure staying there. Although we came back late at night/early morning, we had no issues getting back in. We checked out that morning and asked could we leave our bags while we went out for breakfast and although we came back later than we stated, our bags were kept stored neatly for us. The staff were lovely to deal with, very friendly. The place was decently clean, no issues to report at all. I would definitely stay here again for the same reason

She talks to them like they’re stupid However the girls who work at the counter are always so helpful and friendly, they do a good job and are always smiling. There’s never an issue with my food

28/12/2025: Probably one of the worst supermacs in Ireland. Absolute rip off, prices are through the roof, dips that once came as sides are now extra and they even try charge extra for mayonnaise. Not worth eating at those prices and staff/cleanliness not helping

15/11/2025: I was at the cinema with my family and after we came out we went to dinos for food. We ordered two hamburgers, two large chips and a curry. The chips were hard and green, the hamburgers were very dry and tasteless. The curry was the worst of all it was like it was watered down. I say it was about 95% water. I was very disappointed and won't be going back. The dinos in Blackpool is way better especially the curry.

23/12/2025: Biggest shit show of a restraunt. Wouldn't eat their if i was starving and that's coming from someone who's fat. The bathroom is disgusting and should have the restraunt shut down. If their bathroom is that bad then I can only imagine the filth of the kitchen. Considering supermacs has great restraunts e.g. clonmel, tipp town and in the obama plaza with great standards then how are places like this one getting away with being a shithole.

The service was very friendly and nice, but very loud, as the dishes we ordered were constantly being called into the kitchen. The restroom was simply disgusting. It wasn't cleaned, it was incredibly dirty. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

17/10/2025: What a hidden gem! Kate and the staff were fantastic from the moment we arrived (past check-in time) to the moment we left. We, unfortunately, had no luggage as it was not put on our flight from Glasgow. Kate went out of her way to make us feel as comfortable as possible given the situation. We had to alter our original plans of hiking (due to lack of clothes/gear) and Kate spent a considerable amount of time giving us suggestions for an alternate plan. We took her recommendations and were able to enjoy many sights and delicious foods and a great ferry trip to our next destination. The breakfast at Wild Honey was Absolutely Divine!! One of the best breakfasts we had over our 13 day trip. Such a great experience and we will be returning! Thank you Kate!
