25/08/2025: Good choice of food. My son was able to have gluten free fish and chips and this is the reason we chose to eat here. The restaurant was very busy when we ate here. We had booked a table. We were a little late being seated, at no fault to the staff,just that the previous diners were enjoying the last of their meal. Staff were so apologetic about this and offered us a drink on the house. This was a very nice gesture and we appreciated it. A great little dining spot in Tramore with gluten free options and very pleasant staff.

20/08/2025: Absolutely lovey. Food perfect. Great service. Lovely surroundings. Caters for Gluten free and lactose intolerant. Nothing too much trouble. Would drive the hour and a half from home just to eat here. (was o a family day trip with visitors, never been to Tramore before although lived in County Wexford for 17 years!).

05/09/2025: The new Glasthule location is dreadful in comparison with Monkstown. I've given it every opportunity, but breakfast, lunch and dinner were all awful. Such a disappointment as Monkstown restaurant is fantastic. Even the orange juice in Glasthule is advertised (and charged) as freshly squeezed, but they later admit that's only in Monkstown. Glasthule is out of a carton. Talk about risking your brand!

19/08/2025: Low key vibe with great service. Food was solid apart from the nuts in the banana bread (why do so many places ruin cakes and desserts by putting nuts in them?) and yogurt portion size. Full breakfast vg. Toilet was a bit smelly.

29/05/2025: Amazing from start to finish. We went for my daughters Confirmation and they made it so special for her with their personal touch and delicious food. Thank you so much.

28/05/2025: THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER, an absolute disgrace to the so called management. The restaurant was busy with a confirmation when we arrived which was fine but once the group of about 25 adults & over 20 children finishing eating, the restaurant turned into what I can only describe as a circus with both teenagers & younger kids literally running up & down between the tables chasing & shouting at each other. Children are naturally noisy & boisterous when they get together but we werent in McDonalds and not one parent told their kids to sit down or be somewhat quiet & no respect was shown for us and other paying customers who had trouble having a conversation because of the volume of shouting.While the staff had trouble accessing the other tables to serve food, we were amazed that the manageress watched on & did absolutely nothing to address the situation. When we complained she simply agreed that the behaviour in a restaurant setting was out of order & blamed the parents for not keeping their children under contol. I blame the management for their inaction in allowing it to happen. I have no problem with children's parties but I certainly don't want to sit in the middle of one to eat my dinner & pay restaurant prices for it.

19/08/2025: Very disappointing experience at Vagabond. We ended leaving after 45 minutes with no food and only a single tea having been served to the table. There was a single girl running the place, and she was clearly stressed to bits. She never stopped, was constantly rushing from table to table, taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and making the coffees, all by herself. Whoever made the decision for the entire front-of-house to be staffed by a single person (at lunch time, in August, in one of the biggest tourist hotspots of the west coast) bears full responsibility for this negative experience.

17/08/2025: Very standoffish waiting staff, food was acceptable but bland. Only time I've decided to take my tip off the table when leaving.

25/07/2025: Food was good, but the portions rather small. The desert was a joke, we ordered the crumble and it was completely soggy and a tiny piece - absolutely not worth it. Service was good.

24/07/2025: Husband and I chose this pub while visiting Killarney. We love authentic Irish food so this place really hit the spot. When we walked in, we were told that they didn’t have any tables left and they were completely full. There were a couple seats at the bar thankfully so we asked if we could sit there and eat, she said yes. The two young guys behind the bar gave us some drinks quickly, waitress took our food order a few minutes later. We decided to share the mini potato cakes (€8.95), which were pretty much mashed potatoes mixed with chicken and bacon, and then covered in bread crumbs and fried. It was covered in a mushroom creme sauce which was really good, with a small salad on the side (if you can call it that, it was really a couple pieces of lettuce, a single grape tomato and a drizzle of dressing) My husband got the fish and chips (€17.70) which honestly was probably the best fish and chips he’s had so far during our trip. I was a little jealous of his food after I tried some of his. The fish was almost melt-in-your-mouth quality. Soooo good. I would go back just to eat that fish again. I got the spinach and ricotta ravioli (€20.95) which came with a tomato and basil crème sauce, some garlic bread, and a handful of arugula on top. The pasta itself tasted good (jealous of the fish!) but the garlic bread was so crispy (not burnt) that it was almost too hard to chew. The dish would have been fine without the ‘salad garnish’. The only thing I would point out is that obviously the pub is very busy, and it didn’t look like they had an ample amount of seating, but they must have turned away at least 20-30 people because the back of the pub was closed (due to a large party maybe?) and they just couldn’t find a place for those people to sit. So I guess we got there at just the right time? Whatever - I would still go back JUST for the fish and chips ❤️

19/05/2025: For my birthday I was given a 150 euro voucher to get a message and after have some lunch. The spa experience was amazing, the girl gave me the message was really talented, however after my great experience in the spa I had 25 euro remaining for some lunch in the hotel lounge called Amber. I order the steak sandwich which looked amazing when it was delivered to my table. I quickly realized tho that the steak cuts were very fatty, the whole time I eat it I had to constantly remove fat. It was very disappointing as this is a 5 star hotel. In my opinion you should not get fat on your steak sandwich which costed me by the way 22 euro. So yeah very disappointed with that. I would of spoke up but I was under pressure to get back home. Spa was amazing but I genuinely felt left down getting a 5 star hotel experience with the lunch.

06/05/2025: One of the younger staff dropped red sauce on my 10 month old baby (accidents happen) but the manager was rude and didn't bother to speak to us even though the restaurant was quiet. It wasn't what I would expect from a restaurant in a fancy hotel. One of the staff Jose was lovely and very attentive. Honestly the food was fine I just didn't enjoy it because of the service and it was 100 eur for 2 mains, a kids starter and 2 drinks.

12/03/2025: Family of 6 visited for breakfast on my Dad's 80th birthday as we were staying in Bunclody. I'd pre ordered an 80th birthday cake to pick up when we'd eaten but they brought it out with an 80th candle and sang to him which was lovely. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming and more than happy to accommodate changes to the menu we asked for such as scrambled instead of fried egg, nothing was a problem and the coffee was great. All 6 of us enjoyed the variety of breakfasts we chose. The cakes looked lovely but we didn't sample them as they brought us plates and a knife for us to tuck into the birthday cake (which was lovely). Would highly recommend if you're in the area.

22/08/2025: Great Unlimited breakfast however it did take a good 35 minutes to get to the table from ordering (as it's not buffet) however there is continental breakfast included if you can't wait. Unlimited drinks including juices too, nearly everything tasted spot on apart from the black pudding was slightly mushy but still can't complain. The view from the upper dining area was amazing really recommend and will go again.

11/06/2025: I took my father here this evening - to the Terrace - and had a great time. We had tried to book a window seat, but upon arrival there were none available. The wonderful front of house said he would do everything to help us. I had told him it was an early father's day dinner for my dad. We were seated in a non window seat initially, but within 15 minutes, due to a no show, he moved us to a 4-top, but made it for just the two of us. My dad had the Dublin Bay Prawn Scampi, and loved every second of it (his appetite can be off, so it was brilliant to see!). I ordered the burger (without pickles), but it arrived with pickles which put me off a little. I removed them from the plate and one of the hostesses asked if everything was OK (truly I didn't really enjoy the burger..too much sauce and the pickle residue was still lingering on the burger) and I just told her it's lovely but I asked for no pickles (I didn't want to ask for a fresh order bc it seemed ridiculous!). She came back later in the meal to say the desserts were going to be on the house - I tried to protest and say it's not a problem, but when the bill came, they weren't there. As a result I left a very generous tip for the servers. The desserts were delicious. Dad had the sticky toffee pudding and I had the meringue roulade (very sweet, but I had room after not finishing my burger). All in all the service was hit and miss (we were neglected a bit at the beginning in favour of the bigger, more demanding tables, and I had asked for a sauce top up which came after we had finished - but I understand they were under pressure), but the managers really stepped up and made it a special night. My dad, most importantly, has been waxing lyrical about it since. They also had a good selection of non-alcoholic wines for him, which was really refreshing. I would definitely go back again - and order the scampi!! Top top marks to the fronts of house...you made it a lovely evening.

For a place that caters to tourists it was well below the service my group received anywhere else our entire stay. I’m going to assume the person was having an off day but I hope the next time they want to yell at someone they consider another way of doing it especially when that person has medical needs they were trying to take care of. The pure embarrassment the member of my party had was so uncalled for. Again significantly better cafes in town who were grateful for the business and had zero issue with medical needs being addressed.

09/08/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely fantastic takeaway! I didn’t have huge expectations when I popped into Roma, but it completely blew me away. The pizza was gorgeous, perfectly crispy base, delicious toppings, and just really, really yummy. The chips were proper chippy chips, made from real spuds, fresh, clean, and full of flavour. The curry was amazing too, not your usual dark chip shop curry, but a lovely light, thick, homemade-style curry that was absolutely delicious. It’s a family-run business with such a friendly atmosphere. I’m not from the area, but I’d definitely come back. Highly recommend!
