04/09/2025: I can't judge the quality of the food, unfortunately. We arrived at 9 p.m., after a long drive, at the Beaufort Bar and Restaurant. We understand perfectly well that it was a little too late to eat, but the cold welcome and the equally unfriendly response from the man behind the bar wouldn't have given us a good impression of the Irish... luckily we met some extremely friendly ones elsewhere! We're staying in the area for a few days... we won't be setting foot in this establishment again. Very sad.

11/10/2025: Coming here years, usually just for drinks or Brunch. I love the decor and atmosphere and the staff are always excellent. However, on this last visit I was disappointed. The Hugo cocktail I ordered had an elderflower flavouring in it & not the elderflower liquer it should have. As the liquer was listed in another cocktail, I asked for it to be used instead. It was not & I was handed a green drink that tasted nothing like a Hugo. The choice of glassware was uninspiring compared to what they used to use and there was zero efforts made with presentation as I expect for €15 a drink.

22/11/2025: At this point I'm a regular at Supermacs as it is my go to place for a burger and chips. With that being said, one day when it was delivered we were missing chips and every other day that we ordered from the app but went inside to collect, we either did not have one of two drinks or no forks given. Honestly that was grand, I could get over that because I love your taco fries and chicken breast sandwich. But after what happened yesterday? No, I won't be returning to this place. 21/11/2025 at around 5pm, I and my partner went inside and ordered. The order was two large/max chicken breast sandwich meals with taco fries, water and a fanta. I am an overthinker so I made sure to do the math on your app beforehand. The total normally would be €31.40 but I had a coupon of €2 making it €29.40 which is what I paid at the counter. Upon receiving the order I looked through the bag which had a receipt attached (I wasn't given one at the till) and I noticed that 1. There was only one taco fries and it was a medium 2. There was a small bag of plain fries 3. The fanta was a medium. I checked the receipt and found that it did have the correct food items on it that I said at the counter, but it was labelled as regular instead of max/large. The price however was still €29.40 like it was from my previous calculation. I thought it was just a mistake so I went to the counter. There was an older man, in a different shirt to everyone else so I'm assuming he is a manager. When I pointed out the mistakes he was incredibly rude to me and spoke loudly for everyone else to hear. He simply wouldn't listen to what I was saying. When I mentioned the plain chips, he jabbed at my receipt and loudly said "plain chips" as if that is what it said but it did not. When I showed the app on my phone where it said the price of the max meal, he said "that's a regular " again, no it was not. He then preceded to grab the plain chips from my bag and say "okay I'll give you one large taco fries". This man spoke to me like he was doing me a favor? I was shocked silent and left embarrassed as everyone was looking and heard the exchange where he made me look like an utter idiot who was just causing a fuss. He also took my receipt with him as he walked away. Well thank you Supermacs, despite my love for your food, if I end up crying in a car after a takeaway I think it's the wrong place to go.

07/09/2025: Genuinely the best fish and chips I’ve ever had, me and my partner keep coming back. The staff are extremely nice and friendly.

27/07/2025: Best chipper in bray by far...prices are extremely good for the quality also and staff very friendly + helpful !

31/12/2025: Not a very nice place to eat, staff are somewhat direct, especially the manager.will be avoiding in the future, portions were terrible.

30/12/2025: Mean staff, they have no clue, they'd charge for salt if they could get away with it... we'll avoid the next visit, or remortgage the house.

20/08/2025: A restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. They don't have a ton of options on the menu, but both the food and the location are very good.

21/07/2025: There is much better food options for better prices in town. The food was average at best but the service was not good. For a place that caters to tourists it was well below the service my group received anywhere else our entire stay. I’m going to assume the person was having an off day but I hope the next time they want to yell at someone they consider another way of doing it especially when that person has medical needs they were trying to take care of. The pure embarrassment the member of my party had was so uncalled for. Again significantly better cafes in town who were grateful for the business and had zero issue with medical needs being addressed.

19/10/2025: This is the ONLY place we eat when visiting Lahinch . Perfect to watch the sun going down over the water. Tasty food, relaxed vibe and lovely people.

20/12/2025: Please do not eat out of this restaurant. I’m in bed with two days when I told the staff they said there’s nothing they can do. It was my problem. Please do not. My Kids is in hospital whatever you do do not eat out of this restaurant and I was forced to pay.

03/12/2025: Ordered a 10oz Ribeye - I estimate no more than 6 Oz steak delivered and very heavily salted, the side salad was very old. For the price charged I expected more.

09/10/2025: Worst flat white I’ve ever had, they don’t know how to make a coffee. They told me what table to sit at and before I could even finish my drink they asked me to move so someone else could use my table?! They told me to sit there in the first place. Rude and inept staff.

03/10/2025: It’s a wonderful place amazing food and staff but it’s not a place for a price it was about 10-20€ per person but otherwise it’s a lovely place

01/11/2025: I don’t know why this hotel has such a low rating… The rooms were good… The staff were phenomenal. Sure it is a bit dated but that adds to the charm. I only request would be for them to add beans back onto the breakfast menu.
