29/09/2024: Today I had a delightful experience dining at You and Me Chinese Restaurant in Sligo town. The menu features a wide selection of authentic Chinese and Thai dishes, including favorites like salt and chilli king prawns, Oriental chicken fried rice, and an array of stir-fries and noodle dishes. I opted for the golden chicken fried rice, salt and chilli king prawns which was a perfect balance of spice .The staff were attentive and friendly, and their service was quick. The prices were quite reasonable for the quality and portion size, making it good value for money.
25/09/2024: This time I ordered Prawn Yaki Udon 🍤.
This place is so peaceful even though it's located in the downtown. I love the music, and beautiful plants 🪴 everywhere, and is so clean. It's one of my favorite places for lunch in Sligo. The staff are so friendly and the food is delicious.

01/10/2024: A lovely bar, traditional, run lovingly by a family who've run it for decades. Right in front of a sea inlet , the owner was exceptionally kind & friendly to me & my learning disabled sister. Highly recommended. Pizza on sale but no actual restaurant open that day ( not sure of other days.) It wasn't "buzzing" but to escape from the stresses of modern day life, thus is your place. Picnic tables in front of sea. Ideal.
02/06/2024: Only the bar was open not open for food ; don’t waste your time going there if you want food even though website says it is open from 12:30 for food ; very disappointing

20/08/2024: A pathetic attempt at breakfast food. Asked for pancakes with fruit compot. The pancakes were unbuttered and solid, not fluffy, and the "fruit compot" was just a can of cocktail fruits in a plastic container. Tables were sticky and unclean. The avocado on the avacodo toast was a purée, and the toast was soggy. The side of eggs were powdered and flavourless. None of us could stand to finish our plates.

29/09/2024: Very lovely experience. We were a group of ten and they received us in a very pleasant and worm way. The overall service was excellent, the food quality quite high. Everyone was satisfied. That dinner was the best food experience in Dublin.

Last night, we had a marvelous dinner at Fallon and Byrne with a group of 13. Not only was the service fantastic and friendly, they bent over backwards to accommodate our special requests and timing and really went the extra mile.
The food was delicious and I would absolutely come here again. Highly recommended whether on a romantic date for two or with a small group of friends like us.

26/10/2024: New setup now doing fish and chips with more regular opening hours. We had 2 different fish n chips with bottle of house white, 1 dessert & 1 coffee for €83. Was it worth it? Well the food was really good so top marks for that. However the place is devoid of warmth and feel good factor. The warm welcome was non- existent from the man in the hatch that checked us in. The decor is cold and the attempt at being a cool casual quirky place just doesn’t work. It’s basically an eat and go fish n chips setup which might suit the owners …… but not the customers. Oh and €33 for house wine in a cafe is taking the ….
13/10/2024: Very very poor experience. Portion size is 1/3rd of what we get from other places for the same price. Cold food served with no cutlery. Very bad experience.

There were 2 of us, my friends Coffee was lukewarm and .y triple shot tasted just the coffee side of warm milk.

13/09/2024: In spite of them not allowing me to host my birthday party on the premises STILL 5 STARS 😋😍😘.
Oh and the junkies tapping at the door aren't the worst but still a bit annoying so it really is impressive that this place has such good ratings.
20/07/2024: Chicken burger dry, chips warm, gravy warm,1 piece chicken on the bone warm,nothing hot and can of coke warm . Tenders were fresh though and hot.

18/03/2024: I received a gift voucher for The Black Barrel in Midleton for Christmas 2023. The Black Barrel has been closed every day since Christmas even though their website can take reservations but any reservation I have made is cancelled last minute. I have tried to ring and send emails to The Black Barrel on many occasions but I am unable to get in contact with the staff. I'm not sure what the owners of The Black Barrel are at, some communication would be great.

29/09/2024: Just had dinner here and it was disgusting...watered down condiments...disgusting ignorant behavior from staff in front of customers...absolutely never coming back here again...I'm actually shocked...almost 60 euro spent in this place...never again 😡

10/08/2024: Obviously meant for staff with easy access to walk across the road from the hospital, but we were just driving through getting a takeaway and had to do 'circles' around the busy roads to find parking. Food was usual Supermacs standard we come to enjoy in Ireland. Would only recommend this Supermacs if you dont have to park a car!

17/07/2024: Excellent food, great menu and service. We are visitors here and we were happy to have an excellent lunch here while we are driving around and exploring. The wait staff are welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend The Town Diner in Ballyjamesduff! Thank you!
