23/09/2025: I order Lunch regularly for company meetings usually delivered and sometimes we eat in, all the food is freshly prepared daily and nothing is too much trouble. The food is amazing and the staff are very efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend them for any event or just a lunch date.

25/12/2025: Very decadent and impressive christmas dinner! We had an amazing time and the food was amazing. Will definitely do it again, highly recommend. Oreo coffee Cheesecake was my favorite! Fast and Friendly service too, constantly checking up if all was fine and food was served quickly even with a full house. Cost atmosphere too. 10/10

05/08/2025: You need a reservation for it. The wine list is decent too and the food is not bad either. Try it out if you are around. Staff is super nice and friendly.

28/08/2025: Lovely cafe for fresh baked cakes and buns a good selection of sandwiches and salad bowls.

28/12/2025: Ordered for collection and went in and paid. Waited 30mins before going up to inquire where my food was as the place did seem busy. They first said my pizza was made without a topping and they were going to remake it. When I said I would take it as is as I didn’t have any more time to wait, they said the pizza had not even been made. Really disappointing. This is the second time this has happened to me this year from that branch.

18/12/2025: Got a Pizza for my girls here as a sneaky treat when we went to Waterford for the weekend, they were absolutely slammed busy ( always a good sign) but when we went back to collect order food was beautiful, no cut corners just because they were busy. It was my girls first time ever trying PAPA JoHNs and they loved it. Well done , keep up the great work.

31/12/2025: Hi came in for tea food waiting along time no one came take my order women with purple hair and son there girl short black hair working on this day . came with food 3 men come in every day just like me come in every day never asking me if I want order food very bad asking me take what put up down came back in man Noal came up to me telling me take it down its my right put it up if not doing job right who do you think are tell me take it down Cork people don't take this well never eat have tea this place people ask me about it tell them stay away not good place

31/12/2024: Muy, muy decepcionado. Visita anualmente @xmas pero nunca más. Gnocchi no comestible, hamburguesas secas, patatas fritas tan fuerte rebotó cuando trató de comer con un tenedor, la merluza era horrible. Platos muy desnudos, sin ensalada de acompañamiento en cualquier plato. Los ñoquis solo tenían un pequeño trozo de pan de ajo, las porciones eran extremadamente pequeñas. No demasiado ocupado así que no hay excusa. Quedó esperando años para ordenar y de nuevo para pagar. Dije que la comida no era buena, pero le dije que no le diré disculpas al chef. No volveré.

08/10/2024: Good for a pint of Guinness to wind down the evening while sitting out front to watch the people. There are bouncers at the door checking ID's but they could clearly tell that I am definitely of age. Inside, loud with music at 8pm on a Saturday night. So it was outside with the pint glass and thankfully, no one smoking out there. Great to sit for an hour and watch the idiots peel out from Eyre Square in their fancy cars. And watch the taxis make the u-turn to the stand directly in front. And when someone did decide to light up, finish off the pint and head onwards. Lots of tourists in town this evening so it was busy all around.

25/10/2025: The food was good, and the prices are reasonable. The quality of the food here seems a bit higher than other fast food options. If you have a larger group, there is an upstairs dining area (it was closed when I was there for dinner). My only real complaint was that the wait time for the food seemed a bit long. I believe I was waiting for about 20+ minutes, and there were people waiting for even more time that had already ordered before I arrived.

12/10/2025: Who is this manager type person who stands around either at the counter or is filling her lungs with nicotine on the street ? She is the perfect example of how not to lead or manage the without exception great staff behind the counter Arrogant, condescending and dismissive are descriptors that come to mind . Maybe a few secret shopper visits are due here The staff need help not barking at.

24/12/2025: Went here on Christmas Eve and although the place was extremely busy we were served promptly and the food was divine. Staff were amazing and performed so well under pressure. 100% spot on

06/12/2025: Great Value food. Chicken burger is the nicest I’ve ever had. Fantastic views all around. Great service and great pint of Guinness!

02/01/2026: By far the absolute worst Supermacs in the country. Staff are slow and disorganised. The seating area is constantly freezing. I wouldn't normally bother giving a poor review to a fast food restaurant but our recent visit will be our last here. They forgot an item from our order, so I had to queue back up to try and sort it out. Got to the top of the queue and explained the problem. The server went over to the fryer and mauled a couple of chicken nuggets sitting in a basket to see if they were cooked, threw a few in a box and handed them to me. The member of our group that was eating them said they were cold. Due to the cold temperature of the seating area and the fact that I had to queue to retrieve the missing item meant my meal was now cold too. There are better fast food restaurants in the town, and vastly better supermacs withing reasonable distance. Give this one a miss if you can.

13/12/2025: Absolutely raging they never ever give me dips or straws any time I come here always “forget” . Expensive too for the quality of food and the staff just looks like there on there last will to live never seen one smile in my life here there always so rude.

17/12/2025: I took my grandfather here for a nice lunch out. We had booked and when we turned up we had to wait 5 minutes at the host stand until someone even acknowledged us. We were finally showed to a table where we sat for 30 minutes until someone showed up to take our order, without even an apology for the wait. 15 minutes later our drinks showed up. 1 hour after we were first sat we received our food. The food was good and hot but unfortunately the wait and lack of communication overshadowed the good quality of the food. In the end we just wanted to pay the bill and leave.

16/12/2025: Unfortunately the food fell short of expectations this time, roast potatoes came out cold and the veg also. On a plus note the beef was very good, the service was very good also

22/11/2025: Sorry but, not for me, room small, extremely noisy, other guests arriving back very late, and could hear every sound. Went to boil kettle, to find it half full with dirty cloudy water. Self service breakfast cold. Even though cost is low, I still expect good clean basic service.

13/10/2025: You can not help not being impressed with this beautifully restored building where every element is tastefully done and finished to a very high standard. The late check-in option worked perfectly and the bedrooms although a little on the small side had everything you needed and were immaculately presented Roisin was very welcoming, super helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Fantastic breakfast, continental with a few hot breakfast specials and able to cater for a coeliac member of a party Highly recomend

26/08/2025: Very nice place to get lunch or eat a takeaway pizza in the evening. The service from staff was great, all of them very kindly. About the food, one day we got fish and chips and honestly was better than expected, not the same with homemade lemonade and ice tea, completely avoid order these. Another day we ordered few takeaway Pizzas around 9pm when every other place around is not serving food so they saved us.

23/08/2025: Ordered a salad and soup. Very little options for drinks, gin and tonic came in wine glass (couldn’t get much tonic in). Wooden cutlery ?! Food was ok. Perfect location on a lovely day. Seats outside and inside.
