19/08/2025: Michaela greeted us and served us, lovely woman straight talker warm heart. Food was outstanding. We went just after covid and didnt think much, but returned last month and were blown away. 5 adults, 4 kids, 0 complaints. Thanks guys will be back soon!

05/08/2025: Disaster! Waited an hour for food. For a burger and fish & chips. The noise level was like a train station. Never again.
05/08/2025: The vegetable soup here has absolutely no flavor. It's just diced potatoes, chopped onion, and carrots in water. Only after adding a lot of salt and pepper was it even remotely edible. The coffee was definitely not freshly brewed and was still very strong with milk. We wouldn't recommend it. The ice cream and fries are probably better.

But im coming on here too note that a woman that works he has gone above and beyond with her work. The lady has not stopped making sure everyone is happy. Cleaning up when shes not busy and always on the go. Asking everyone if we need anything. Very polite. I havent seen that tyoe of service in a long time. Fair play too her.
27/05/2025: Twice now I've ordered and the burger is not cooked.
My advice to people is to stick to the chicken.

Histórico, encantador pub vintage de la vieja escuela con el famoso Snug!
Seguro que el mejor pin Guinness (ssss) que he probado, tan fresco, cremoso y perfectamente aprovechado por bartenders muy agradables, amables y divertidos!
Conocí nuevos amigos irlandeses nacidos y vivos en The Snug; ¡una de las mejores noches que he tenido!
Como me dijo el muchacho irlandés: ¡Eres más irlandés que el ppl más irlandés!”

Ottimo il loro piatto della tradizione fish & chips, per me in versione senza glutine con una perfetta panatura croccante e non unta. Atmosfera informale ma con stile e servizio attento e curato. WHEN I POINTED THIS OUT TO STAFF SHE SAID THE HAIR IS BLACK , AND YOU HAVE DARK HAIR .
BUT OTHER STAFF HAD LONG BLACK HAIR ALSO .
I GOT NO APPOLAGY NO SORRY NO NOTHING. SHE JUST WALKED OFF AS IF IT WAS MY PROBLEM NOT HER'S.
RUDE , AND CHEEKY STAFF .
UN TRAINED IN FOOD SAFTY OR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
DONT EAT HERE , ITS A DUMP.

08/06/2025: The whole Sunday lunch experience was absolutely disgusting…..the food was second rate the beef looked like it came form a package in Aldi and was as dry as a Camel’s Gowl …..carrot /peas /lumpy Mash…..coloured water for gravy…..I don’t know how these people can serve up this rubbish and get away with it …I don’t know……battered Garlic mushrooms 5 to be precise for €6.50……..avoid this place at all costs….it overpriced and Tasteless….never ever again

20/08/2025: What a find! Lovely setting, smart but relaxed bar and dining areas, great food!
15/08/2025: We were staying at Rockhill House and popped down to the Church both nights we were staying. Food was great and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There seemed to only be one barman and one waitress and they were busy but everything ran like clockwork! Great location too! Will definitely be back!

I went for the veggie option, The quality was good, the quantity was just right, the eggs were slightly overcooked.
07/06/2025: Called in to the pub to listen to the Irish music on Tuesday evening. A group of musicians perform a lovely selection of traditional music and songs, it’s like watching a group of friends enjoying performing together rather than a staged show. Great evening.
