02/05/2025: Muy decepcionado con la comida. Fui con mi hija esta misma noche, 7⁄8 para celebrar sus grandes logros en la universidad... no teniendo demasiada hambre, pedimos una pizza y una porción de cuñas entre nosotros... las cuñas podrían haber sido de Aldi o Dunnes, a 99 centavos por bolsa!!!, pero cobramos 8. 50 euros la porción... ¡vergonzoso! La salsa era mayonesa o chile agridulce... pizza a los 18 años. 50 euros era muy mediocre. . . . menú limitado en comparación con hace un tiempo. . . . lugar estaba bastante vacío. . . ahora sé por qué! ! Solía traer a mis hijos aquí para tomar el té todos los viernes, y el lugar estaría lleno de zumbido... ¡qué pena... ya que realmente me encantaba el lugar... no tendré prisa por volver pronto!

21/04/2025: Unfortunately our last meal in Ireland was our worst. The place is very nice and our waitress was very friendly. My son liked his meal off the kids menu but my wife, father, and I ordered steak and I've never had a steak this overcooked in my life. All three of us were very disappointed. Once our food was dropped off we didn't have anybody check in to see how it was or if we wanted another drink until we asked for the check. Everywhere else we ate this week was wonderful so it was a little surprising. Rough experience to end our otherwise incredible trip.

14/09/2024: Sold us gift vouchers day before they closed permanently, never told us yet took our money , absolutely disgraceful behaviour shame on owner . Closed without any information and hasn’t reopened, tried using vouchers in their other establishments but they won’t accept them Con artists at the finest

19/03/2025: Went from having the best veg in town to the worst. Before the current owners got here, they had fresh veg, mash, cabbages, carrot and swede etc. Always great. Now they have unseasoned frozen veg that is barely edible. We understand that inflation exists but vegetables? Really?

12/03/2025: tried to order food online they took the money from my card without placing the order so I had to order and pay a second time over the phone absolute disgrace if your not going to take orders through your website then don't take the customers money!!

07/03/2025: —- Oh guys what happened? Was going there for years and used to be great but now very disappointing! —- I know your in middle of renovations, but portion for chicken supreme was pigeon leg sized and in red wine gravy and mash… ehh and chicken supreme is usually in a white creamy sauce? Too expensive shrink-flationed portions! Bridges burnt won’t return.

31/05/2024: Good selection on the menu and nice size portions. Food was amazing and not a long wait. Cosy atmosphere with the open fire on, I wasn't able to manage a pudding but from looking at others they looked lovely too. Highly recommend 😀

06/05/2025: We’ve arrived relatively late in the evening in Killarney and we were browsing for a place to eat. Passing by, a lady spotted us reading the menu displayed outside, she came to us and radiating satisfaction: “trust me, you won’t regret the food is fantastic”. We decided to try. The service was friendly and fast, the pork tenderloin cooked to perfection. My wife was very satisfied with her oven roast chicken. Definitely will revisit the place on our next trip to Ireland

08/06/2025: The whole Sunday lunch experience was absolutely disgusting…..the food was second rate the beef looked like it came form a package in Aldi and was as dry as a Camel’s Gowl …..carrot /peas /lumpy Mash…..coloured water for gravy…..I don’t know how these people can serve up this rubbish and get away with it …I don’t know……battered Garlic mushrooms 5 to be precise for €6.50……..avoid this place at all costs….it overpriced and Tasteless….never ever again

25/03/2025: Great place for drinks and the staff are very friendly

09/03/2025: The bar food was lovely and had a great menu. We ended up going there three times; however, every time we went there, and this happened to every other table as well, the food always arrived before any drinks. Had to ask for water and where our drinks were. It took about 10 mins for the food to come out, which is brilliant; however, 10 mins after the food arrived, still no drinks. Had to ask staff every time for the drinks. I wouldn't say anything if this only happened once, but every time we visited, this happened; it also happened to every other table.

23/11/2024: Went with friends for coffee a couple of wks ago and meant to write a quick review here just to say it was very enjoyable with great service from the very competent Mairead. She’s friendly and great at her job. Went for a bite to eat this evening with two friends and the experience was very good again. The hotel was warm, with beautiful Christmas decorations up and the food was lovely and not over priced. All the staff were lovely.

20/05/2025: Great place with a wide selection of fresh food and coffee, very comfy and open atmosphere with hardly a delay to be seen, even when it's busy!

02/05/2025: This place is nice, to enjoy. Lovely and helpful staff, tasty and great food. We ordered breakfast and took coffees, asked to get in take away cups, girls brought them with lids to the table 🤌🏼. Small details but really nice.

17/05/2025: We try not to use fast food, but if you are in a hurry, it helps out. And the different types of ice cream are just lovely.

17/03/2025: Ordered online for collection. Was given collection time of 18.15pm Arrived at supermacs at 6.05pm as had another order to place . Wasn't served till 6.20pm. Placed order stood aside for another 15 minutes waiting . Was given order and then I asked for my order placed for collection too, the pizza hadn't even been made yet . At this stage I was too annoyed to wait for them to cook the pizza plus my other food was going cold. I just said give me 2 burger meals instead. I was given burnt chicken goujons as compensation to which were inedible. ☆☆☆☆ update☆☆☆☆ Was given a €20 courtesy voucher as an apology dealt with efficiently and promptly. My next order was perfect on using said voucher , food was fresh, Piping hot and delivered within minutes.

30/05/2025: Called in here for a bite of Breakfast the premises is okish only one member of staff that we encountered was nice this was a young girl with a very pleasant way about her. The breakfast when served was simply disgusting it flowed in grease the Sausages as were the Eggs, Bacon, Fried Tomato were half cooked Toast Was Burnt To A Crisp Tea Was Cold Atmosphere Was Cold. This must have been one of the worst breakfasts that we have ever had served to us. No enquiry to find out if we enjoyed the meal or if everything was ok no comment apart from the nice young girl that took our order. The same when paying at the till no interaction from the girl taking the money apart from, your change. No Thank You We Will Definitely Not Be Going There Again When We Are In Bantry.

24/05/2025: I spent a week in Bantry and had breakfast here every morning! The service was impeccable, and the food divine! Easy to access in the centre of town, opens early with plenty of spacious tables and is the perfect spot to fuel up for a day of sightseeing and hiking. Definitely will be my 1st port of call on my next visit to Bantry!

25/04/2025: What a great find tonight. We went for the 3 course dinner 35e everything was delicious and so fresh. The waiters were great . Pity it's not nearer us.
