30/05/2026: I have ordered from the Fermoy Supermac's several times because my son enjoys the Margherita pizza. Unfortunately, I have noticed that both the food quality and service have been declining over time. A few days ago, I ordered a pizza that was extremely disappointing. The cheese was burnt, and the dough was so thin and overcooked that it became dry and hard within minutes. My son refused to eat it, and I ended up throwing it away. To their credit, they replaced the pizza when I complained, but the replacement was only slightly better and still far below the standard I would expect. I have visited other Supermac's branches, and the difference in quality is very noticeable. The branch on Lower Glanmire Road in Cork consistently serves well-made pizzas that are properly baked and never burnt. Another detail that bothers me is that the Fermoy branch places a tub of garlic mayo directly on top of the pizza. Not only could the outside of the tub be dirty, but it also damages the pizza. I have never seen this done in any other Supermac's branch. Overall, this was my last order from the Fermoy branch. The lack of consistency and attention to basic food preparation standards is disappointing, especially when other branches clearly manage to provide a much better product.

11/05/2026: A lovely café with a great team. We were there on a Sunday morning and service was incredibly fast. Many locals were getting their breakfast to go. They also had some gluten-free options. We really enjoyed our meal.

03/04/2026: What a horrible judgemental owner. I walked into this pub tonight looking a bit worse for wear due to the weather and my outdoor clothing but I was very polite and the owner spoke to me like I was the gum on his shoe. I clearly was not the clientele he desired in his pub. I asked him why he asked me to leave and he told me he did not need to give an answer and to not come back. He then proceeded to escort me to the door. I then went to Collin's bar where I was welcomed , had warm conversations and had such great craic without judgement.

16/05/2026: 8:45 Friday night, the back room has some sort of gathering & the pub side has a few empty tables. I ask a barman if still selling food “Yes, I’ll get you in a minute”, so I sit at one of the high tops directly across from the bar. Time goes by & he never comes, a waitress is walking around talking to customers and the barmen, passing by me a few times as if I was invisible. I finally raised my arm high to guarantee her notice and ordered a Guinness and a menu. I check the menu and ready to order as she comes over and says “Sorry, the kitchen closes at 9”. It’s 9:10 and I’ve been sitting right across from the bar for over 20 minutes without any notice, not like it’s a huge place, just a few tables and high tops but apparently more than the staff knows how to service. Went elsewhere.

01/06/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a wonderful experience with my recent order! The Paneer Pizza was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and great flavor. The Indian dishes were equally impressive—authentic taste, excellent quality, and perfectly cooked. Everything arrived fresh and was packed well. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tasty and authentic Indian cuisine. Will definitely be ordering again!

27/12/2025: In the Pub on Saturday afternoon the 27th of December and the place was freezing. There was no heating at all. The other customers were also complaining that the pub was too cold. Especially with the flu going around this is disgraceful, not a cosy pub at all. No wonder the place is going down hill

14/03/2026: My brother has additional needs due to Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. While he was simply enjoying himself, dancing, and having a good time like anyone else, we were asked to leave. There was no disruption — just someone expressing happiness. Not all disabilities are visible, and situations like this highlight how important awareness and understanding are in public spaces. People with additional needs have the same right to enjoy a night out, listen to music, dance, and socialise without feeling judged or excluded. I would encourage staff and management to keep this in mind in the future and to consider disability awareness training. A little understanding can make a huge difference. I hope this feedback is taken constructively so that others with hidden disabilities are treated with the respect, dignity, and inclusion they deserve. being dragged clean out with additional needs is absolutely unacceptable and do not go if u want a good night and have a disability and you will be taken out if enjoying themselves not even one star absolute dogs in there

08/01/2026: Lovely spot. Marking down a star because we rented a wooden pod. The website states: "private patio", which it wasn't, it also states "kettle provided" but the circuit breaker keep tripping every time we tried to boil it, so the power isn't sufficient. Also the parking near the pods should be reserved for pod occupants as they were taken by visitors or residents in the chalets.

21/05/2026: I visited Galway for the day from Cork City and happened upon this wonderful café. I had the Cubano sandwich, paired with a small bottle of Brisa Merlot and a chilled San Pellegrino. Everything was exquisite — simple things done beautifully well. Upstairs, the view overlooking the main thoroughfare was the perfect finishing touch: sitting by the window, watching the world drift by, with the rhythm and charm of Galway unfolding below. A truly memorable little escape.

11/05/2026: Had a wonderful experience at McCambridge. The store has such a warm and inviting atmosphere and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Everyone was happy to chat, offer recommendations and make the experience feel personal and relaxed. The hot chocolate was absolutely delicious rich, smooth, and easily one of the best we’ve had. The whisky sampling was also a fantastic touch and made the visit even more enjoyable. It was a great way to try something new in such a comfortable and enjoyable setting. A lovely shop with amazing products, great service, and a genuinely pleasant atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit when in Galway.
