04/09/2025: We enjoyed a lovely lunch here, recommended by a local resident. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, fresh, and satisfying. A very pleasant meal! I am sad I didn't get to return for the Irish breakfast!
26/08/2025: One of the few coffee shops in Dublin that has wifi and you can work from, staff are always so nice, pleasant and welcoming. The beetroot goats cheese salad and coffee are fab, recommend the pastries as well!

From the start, Maurice was fantastic to deal with. Calm, professional and after listening to what we wanted, he more than delivered. His expertise and attention to detail excelled.
Our food, from flavour, quality, ingredients and very generous portions, we all agreed, was excellent.
We were served drinks from a waitress and waiter on a very busy night, who did so with humour and efficiency.
The weather was fab, location perfect, both top class food & service, topped off with the firework display, made for a very enjoyable & memorable night.
Happy to highly recommend Maurice & all at One the Waterfront.

21/06/2025: The Town Diner was such a wonderful find. The food was some of the best we had in Ireland, no matter the price. Everything was fresh and simply prepared. The seating area was relaxed with a mix of locals. Our sever was a young lady that couldn’t have been more pleasant. We are from the U.S. and it reminded us of a classic American diner. Even the coffee was excellent.
My wife and I were researching her Irish lineage in Ballyjamesduff and were looking for someplace to get a bite.

14/06/2025: Angry, rude bartender accusing people of stealing glasses he claims are “5 euro a pop” and refusing service on said baseless claim. Was made to feel extremely uncomfortable despite frequenting the place often since I have moved to the village. He showed a nasty side to a woman having a quiet drink alone.

People with reduced mobility won't have any problems.

21/05/2025: Friendly and central hotel in Lahinch with great value for money. The staff organised overnight storage for my bike, even carrying it in and out! Room was perfect and excellent breakfast with full Irish options, including vegetarian version. Lots of options nearby for food and the beautiful beach to enjoy the sunset!

On our most recent trip when it came to paying, I asked the waitress to round up the bill to include a tip as I was paying by card. She told me that she 'would like to let me know that waiting staff prefer to receive tips as cash because if its on a card they have to pay tax.' She said it was ok this time but she was letting me know for the future.....
I can honestly say that this has never been said to me anywhere before. I've worked as a waitress myself and was always appreciative of tips, no matter how they were paid to me.

21/08/2024: If you would like to see the garden of Eden on a plate ask for a BLT. Never seen anything like it , a plate full of lettuce. Very hard to eat this , the bacon (also Mediterranean) physically very hard to eat , so I didn't, avoid this BLT
