01/11/2024: Terrible, came for my flight at half 6 and arrived at 4. Got my bags in check-in and went to sit down. Had to ask for menus, no table service even though it says it on signs all over the place. Asked for a carbonara and was told they only doing pizzas. Maybe let people know you do that after they sit down for 10 minutes and wait for someone and no one comes. Atrocity that this is the only restaurant here and it's such terrible service. Burger with extra cheese,bacon, and crispy onions €28. Tasted like an aldi burger meat.

05/10/2024: Terrible food. Can you mess up chicken wings? Oh yes! Asked several times for the sauce to be on the side. Over cooked wings came smothered in a very poor hot sauce. Whatever you do, don’t eat here.

08/10/2024: Took my family in here on Sunday for dinner and to watch Man Utd. Anytime we're in Dundalk, we go here as the dinners are lovely and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended 👌

01/10/2024: Staff very friendly. Service was fast but didn't feel like we were being rushed, quite a relaxed atmosphere. Food was lovely, albeit the portions were not very big and expensive for what you get but main reason for losing a star is, despite saying vegetarian/vegan options available there was one main, a stir fry with a bit of rice which was also vegan but there were no vegetarian starters, I was able to get one adapted by asking for no parmesan cheese, which is not a vegetarian cheese, and they obliged but overall disappointed with there being no choice. We did not get a dessert as none of the options really appealed to us. It also wasn't marked what ones, if any, were vegetarian, cheese cake, trifle and tiramisu being three of the options that sometimes contain gelatine.

17/08/2024: One of the nicest meals I had in a long time. The duck spring roles for starter were the nicest I’ve ever had and the rib eye steak was really succulent and tasty. Really friendly staff too. Highly recommend

28/10/2024: Inside restaurant is clean and tables well maintained. Food was piping hot and chips lovely and crispy and served on proper plates when eating in.

19/10/2024: Got a Taco fries take-away. It's the best in the South-west!!

03/11/2024: We had Sunday dinner with our 2 kids, very relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff. Food was freshly cooked with a great selection. Highly recommend

23/10/2024: I have been to this Superman's a few times over the years, and I've never had an issue. Today, however, I met a young man who I can only describe as rude. When he served me, I felt he wasn't listening and had to repeat my order for him. When looking for a table, there were four or five tables that were dirty and rubbish on them. My food took a long time and when it arrived it was wrong. I had ordered a plain chicken burger, and on the box was a plain sticker, but it wasn't plain. I went back up, and another young man said he would get me a fresh one. He arrived thirty seconds later with it, and I was my original burger, just scrapped clean. When I was finished and putting my rubbish in the bin, the bins were full. Several other customers had to wipe tables themselves to sit down. This was shocking, and I will not be returning.

27/09/2024: Met my girlfriends for lunch on a Saturday,1pm. They have a varied menu but mostly sandwich,wrap type foods,with two main meal dinner type specials,for lunch menu. Nice staff and left us chat away for 2hours! Free carpark at rear of restaurant.

06/09/2024: Bland. Had avocado toast... FYI, smashed avocado doesn't also need hummus, especially not the beetroot kind. Hummus tasted of nothing, bread was too thick, no salad or vegetables with it. Maybe other dishes are good, but they are failing on on the non-meat options. Coffee was OK, not bitter, but for a 3 shot americano it was very mild.

04/08/2024: Great mix of locals. Very nice place to sit and relax with a pint. Bridget also makes a good Irish stew. Live music from time to time and located bang in the centre of town

07/11/2024: Very nice restaurant. Great service, in particular from Robert and Adrian. The table d’hôte menu was delicious and we really enjoyed the evening. It’s not cheap but I think the prices were fair for the quality of the food and venue. The staff were particularly friendly and added to the evening.

18/10/2024: Beautiful dining room. Very nice staff. The food was beyond subpar. The first and middle courses and desert were not good at all. Thankfully, the mains we had saved the day. The duck was excellent. The cheff was throwing way to much over the top spices on simple dishes. On a scale of 1-10. It was a 3.5 at best. It was nowhere near what we had hoped for. That said. The bottle of win we had was very good. The staff were excellent.

15/09/2024: 日曜の夜19時半頃伺いました。店内が狭いため20分ほど待ちました。 担当してくれた店員のサービスは良いとは言えませんでしたが、料理はボリューミーかつ美味しかったです。 会計時伝票の値段から勝手にチップを上乗せされ、断っても「日本人はほとんど払ってくれる」などとしつこく言われるので、チップを払わざるを得ませんでした。 その店員にバッグを踏まれたのに謝られなかったりした事があってチップを払いたくなかったので、悔しい気持ちで退店しました…。

11/09/2024: A nice small friendly good food restaurant. In the center of Temple bar area. Make reservation early. Otherwise you will wait. We loved this place. Recommend it.

09/07/2024: Don't believe all the bad reviews on here. We have just returned from a hen doo at the weekend and I can't find any fault. We booked absolutely everything with the lovely Aisling from Taaffes and she was the perfect host. Accommodation slept 14, basic and clean, just what is needed for a hen weekend...the activities and games we chose were completed in Taaffes and our meal was arranged for Juniors. The weekend went absolutely perfect and I couldn't find any fault. Staff were all very attentive and nothing was a bother for our large group. Safety deposit was returned two days later and no chasing up required. If anyone is booking a hen I would highly recommend booking through Taaffes.

01/07/2024: Disappointed...went in there for a post dinner sip ...ordered two double Jagermeisters, which we normally sip as a digestive....The drink we got was NOT Jagermeister...rather some form of cheap knock-off sold as the main brand....at the same price... Clearly the Hens and Stags don't notice when they are shooting shots....synical management decision...cheap and nasty
