11/11/2024: The live music was incredibly good: I've paid for worse concerts and this one was free and with great musicians and singers. The waiter's attention was perfect. I didn't eat there, just a beer and a couple of soft drinks... But everything looked good, apparently you should eat well.

15/11/2024: Chicken was dark in colour and not fresh, obviously extras reheated from the evening before ! I don’t recommend a lunchtime meal, maybe later in the day would be better.

10/11/2024: Disappointed with the quality of the food. Priced relatively high, the quality was poor. My wife had seafood mix. Crab claws were tasteless and not fresh. Only the battered fish was up to standard. Staff were very nice, so a pity the food standard was low.

27/10/2024: This was a very odd dining experience. We were left standing at the front door for a few minutes without any acknowledgment from restaurant staff. The manageress was cold and not very welcoming and when she checked us in, she pointed in the direction of our table and didn’t show us to our seat. The only other poor server on duty was under so much pressure trying to deal with a full restaurant, she was working very hard and seemed to be taking all of the slack. The waitress behind the bar was abrupt and seemed totally fed up. Food was ok but nothing special unfortunately. The restaurant has so much potential, it’s in a prime location and will get the tourists regardless but really needs to take a look at what’s not working as plenty of reviews prior to this one call out the same issues.

06/11/2024: Third time giving this place a try. Staff so uninterested. server forgot to put in the same round of drinks TWICE! And also forgot to put in our appetiser. I asked if the steak sandwich was popular and any good to which he said yes, it looked like a McDonald’s burger and cost €16 how shambolic. It’s a shame how terrible this place is run by the management and the staff as the decor is lovely. DO NOT VISIT. Take your custom somewhere where it may be respected 👍

05/11/2024: We dined as a group of 14 for a special occasion. I had emailed in advance and was told that a there was a set menu for groups of 12 or more and that a Sunday roast special would also be included. On the day we were then advised that it was not. Most of the food was delicious particularly the starters and desserts. However 5 out of 14 people ordered well done steaks which all came out medium at best. We paid a supplement for the steaks to be cooked to order so this was disappointing especially as we were treating our guests to this meal and so they would not have wanted to complain. Service of the main course was also slow with 10minutes between the main course and sides being brought out. Most disappointingly, I emailed the restaurant afterwards outlining the issues and still have not received a response a week later. As a result I would not recommend the church for a similar event.

04/11/2024: Dined here for Sunday lunch food was delicious and April and Wes serving us couldn't do enough for us. Very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back thank you for the great service and good food

10/10/2024: Having travelled around Europe for two months we spent a wonderful lunch time with friends at your restaurant… and it was the best food and friendly service in over eight countries. Try the duck confit salad, mussels or any other item of your choice; flavours were amazing, portions suitable for a midday meal and attention by staff wonderful. We would definitely recommend a stop-over if you have time. 👏

04/09/2024: Pizza House has friendly staff and the food is always lovely. The prices are fair and the location is convenient for anyone living north of Navan. Would definitely recommend.

09/11/2024: This used to be a great spot back in the day but the last time I visited I was shocked to hear some of the backwards comments about immigrants from the manager himself. I took some international work colleagues here and to say I was embarrassed at the comments he was loudly making for all to hear would be an understatement. I will never come back again.

28/09/2024: GET A NEW SECURITY MAN! We were sitting down outside and an older couple came up to the door and asked some fellow having a cigarette if they were still serving inside and he said he wasn't sure but they'd probably be finishing soon (it was about 12.20am and the security had already turned away 2 or 3 pairs of people from going in). They asked for recommendations on where they should go and he VERY POLITELY gave them some, they then thanked him and left. Next thing the security very aggressively told him that he didn't work here and to get out. There was no need for this attitude at all. We've been talking about it all night and think it's an absolute disgrace that you'd have someone on your door treating a customer who couldn't have been nicer with such disrespect!

16/06/2024: Got in late, and they had just quit serving dinner, but the guys there were awesome and were able to hook me up with a couple of dishes. Food was outstanding, wished I could of tried a few other items. Highly recommend!

06/11/2024: They no longer have a restaurant. The bar is so friendly and fun. My favorite bar while visiting Ireland. Thank you to the sweet man Jerry for letting me to take his picture. Thank you to Carl for the ideal place to be while visiting from the States. 💕

15/09/2024: Really welcoming pub and an interesting history. Base of operations for Kalem studios in the early 1910s. Also have a lot of different kinds of wood with labels around the bar. Just la lot or look at and a lot of history to absorb. To top it all off is the amazing staff who really know how to expertly pour a pint.

19/10/2024: Had a lovely relaxing breakfast.

06/10/2024: No matter how hungry you are, do NOT order the Asian Stir Fry. Horrible tasting food. It was swimming in a thick vinegar sauce that had such a strong taste, you couldn't taste anything else. When I went to pay, I complained to the waitress and I got "Thank you for your feedback". Shall I talk about the espresso? Black water. Horrible. Never again. At least the tea my wife took was good.

29/06/2024: Staff are very disrespectful shouted at me when I asked kindly if I could borrow a charger to charge my phone to call a taxi told me to “go home charge it yourself and don’t come back” very disappointing
