02/08/2026: I did not enjoy it at all! Overpriced food, grumpy and slow waiters, nothing spectacular about it, expensive Guinness. All other pubs around it are better. It ruined our evening’s mood! You just don’t feel welcome and don’t feel you’ve spent your okey wisely. I definitely don’t recommend.

20/07/2026: There were two of us here around 3:30 pm. We sat outside in the alley. The atmosphere was nice. There was no table service; it was self-service. I ordered two drinks and two small snacks at the bar. I then received cutlery, sauces, and the drinks, and the food was brought to me. The Coke was 200ml and not chilled, while the cider listed on the bill as 500ml was actually a 0.33ml bottle. When I asked about it, they said it was the non-alcoholic version they had and that was correct. The smoked sandwich and the fried brie arrived very quickly and were delicious.

25/08/2026: If you order tenders and they don't have them ready, you'll be waiting about 15 mins, the kids were starving but the staff were lovely

17/08/2026: Maybe it was an off day or maybe it’s a result of being understaffed but our attempt to have lunch here did not go well. We were “greeted” after a third pass by a salty server or merely directed us to “go sit over there”, in the manner in which you tell your annoying child when you’re fed up. We sat and waited for a menu… and waited…. and waited. Finally presented a crumpled paper menus, it wasn’t was listed online, so we chose to just stand up and leave. We found a freshly made meal across the way at Centra for a fraction of the price. I’m giving food two stars bc it looked decent enough on the plates lucky enough to get service.

05/08/2026: In my case, I ordered a pepperoni pizza without tomato sauce. I thought they might have a problem with it, but no, they were very friendly and even asked if I wanted a different sauce than the regular tomato one. I didn't have high expectations since it's a fast-food place, but to my surprise, the pizza was delicious and it came with fries!

28/08/2026: Delicious mussels! All of the food was perfect. On a sunny day it was gorgeous - not sure how it would fare in the wind and rain!

24/04/2026: Caesar salad was not worth the price. Seafood chowder was good. Cash only when we were there for lunch, their machine was broken - wish they had told us before we sat, never a good surprise.

06/08/2026: New owners and they’re getting things figured out. Some food was not cooked completely. Not an awesome experience. But I’m sure they’ll get better.

04/08/2026: Had a quick afternoon bite to eat. Given table and waited 10 mins to order. The wild Atlantic sandwich was crab & smoked salmon on brown bread with chips and small salad. It was very tasty. No alcohol served due to ownership change. The toilets need a lot of attention. Friendly but slow service. Food good. Toilets 👎. In no rush back I'm afraid 😟

08/04/2026: Old tired bathroom with grout missing from tiles in major need of a refurbishment. Never a 4 star hotel. Bedroom also old fashioned. Whole place needs modernisation. Update, the hotel apologised and said I should not have been in room 212 as it should have been closed for renovations. The hotel kindly offered a full refund. I will update score after I stay in another room. Update Room 209, bathroom brand new
