11/08/2025: Rooms were aged and service was spotty (receptionist often missing from the lobby).

10/08/2025: Central location but noisy! Our room facing the street was excruciatingly loud during the night. The source of the noise was a club or pub with noisy guests and roaring cars. Otherwise, the room was clean and OK. Breakfast was poor and lacked freshness. However, the staff was friendly and the service was good.

23/08/2025: Got a great friendly welcome from the two people on duty, Freya and Enda. Shown to my room, tastefully laid out and really felt homely. I'm extremely fussy about my bed and it was so comfortable. Good shower and tea/ coffee making facilities and a stylish breakfast area. Handy parking, seating area to the front and overall I'm delighted.

27/09/2025: Food is disgusting half bag of chips for a bag of chips that nearly broke my teeth way to over priced for the portions you get, would 100% not eat here again.

19/07/2025: Had a great evening meal there with my mother who had been given a voucher. All three courses were generous servings of perfectly cooked quality ingredients. The staff were super helpful and friendly too.

22/07/2025: Lovely spot in the middle of the town for a coffee pick me up and a slice of cake or bun. It’s v busy but had quite a lot of seating. My son loves the Cornish pasties which make for a lovely breakfast or lunch on the campsite. Coffee is good

02/10/2025: It’s what you expect: intricate plating prepared with fairly classic techniques (foams, gels etc). Everything cooked perfectly and glimpses of a few exciting flavours. The room is very quiet - this is a hushed tones kind of place with almost no decor - it feels like a rented space, not a long standing restaurant with any discernible personality. Service was kind, but not at the highest level (examples: dishes were introduced but not explained in any detail. They took my napkin when I left for the restroom and forgot to replace it for ages. They didn’t notice chips in the wine glass rim. The pacing was extremely uneven - long gaps between courses meant we were there over 4 hours). And the wine pairing unfortunately didn’t add anything to the food. I think it’s a good place for the golf club crowd who like classic, approachable fine dining.

16/08/2025: Exquisite dining experience. Enjoyed the tasting menu with accompanying wines selected by the sommelier. Beautiful dining room in the Manor House. Food was amazing and enjoyed speaking to the Head Chef who visited our table to discuss the food and his preparation of the dishes.

14/07/2025: Stayed here in car park in Motorhome. Got a warm welcome when we phoned and boy is it worth a visit! Dog friendly. Had pate and garlic mushrooms to start! Best pate I have had in a very long time! Then sizzling prawns and chicken in sauce for mains! I could finish mine! Beautiful. Well worth a visit . If we’re back this way we will be back

17/06/2025: This place is an all rounder, lovely bar, great Sunday lunch, its a huge place with a great roof terrace, looking forward to my next visit for a longer stay and to sup a few more Guinness's, the staff were friendly and the toilets were spotless and well stocked.

28/04/2025: This place was absolutely hopping when we arrived. Very popular with millennial and particularly hens and stag parties. It appears that they start at the farthest point and work their way in. Everyone well behaved

22/10/2025: Decent food decent service. Don't know what they are washing the floors with but feel like I'm going ice skating while in the seating area.

14/10/2025: We were there over the weekend and we are very disappointed in the food that was served. None of the food had any flavour, and also we asked for outside seating and we couldn't get it. But advertise it's outdoor seating as well. We feel we paid alot of money for food that was not great at all. Mussels had sand in it still. And the rest of the food just wasn't nice and bland. We come from far and it was horrible. Email was sent and just no feedback what so ever, very bad from them.

14/10/2025: The food was edible but otherwise not very good. Nice interior with a view. Service was decent. The food wasn't bad, just completely unremarkable. Chowder was a little too watery. I expected more from the Cajun salmon. But it was fine I guess. Whole town is kinda a tourist trap so it is what it is

01/08/2025: Assolutamente da provare. Si trova nel pieno di Temple Bar ma, a differenza di altri locali, qui non c'è il frastuono della musica live. Cibi squisiti e personale simpatico e molto veloce. Noi abbiamo provato la beef stuve, super buona. Se andate nelle serate di grande afflusso dovete avere pazienza, c'è da fare un pò di fila, ma ne vale assolutamente la pena.

30/07/2025: Nachdem wir 30 Min. auf der Strasse auf unseren reservierten Tisch gewartet haben, war das Erlebte dann wirklich nicht sehr gemütlich. Chaotische Zustände im Restaurant. Bierfässer werden im Gastraum und den Toiletten gelagert. Der Burger war trocken, unterstes Level. Ambiente, ist nicht vorhanden eingepfercht wie Tiere. Das Ganze ist einfach eine gut organisierte Abzocke.
