11/11/2025: Average nice hotel close to the Visual Carlow (actually, close to everything in Carlow) - there was a student week and the club was working till 2am, because of the thin walls we could hear everything.

07/11/2025: Rooms get pretty noisy about 6am. Would recommend asking for a room away from road. Apart from that it was nice and comfortable.

05/11/2025: I went there last Sunday. Everything would have been perfect, but the manager was really disappointing. He was very aggressive and spoke rudely. Honestly, he seemed to be 100% under the influence of alcohol. An older man, with completely inappropriate behavior for a public place.

01/01/2026: The food was delicious, the portions were huge and the service simply fantastic. The host and waitress were amazing and contributed to a wonderful pub experience, the best in years for me. If you are in Nenagh, I highly recommend stopping by for some food and/or a drink. Loved it.

05/12/2025: Tables where filthy and the place cold. Prices are also ridiculously expensive for basic fried pub food. Bartender came to our table, saw the dirt, grease and dried ketchup on our table, then walked away. We got up and left. What an overpriced dump!

05/11/2025: The cafe at the Midleton Distillery is a lovely spot to relax before or after your tour. It’s perfect for enjoying a nice breakfast or a good cup of coffee. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great place to unwind while soaking in the distillery’s charm. Whether you’re visiting for the whiskey experience or just passing by, it’s definitely worth stopping in for a peaceful break.

04/01/2026: We had a great evening overall at this cocktail bar. The upstairs bar was excellent: amazing cocktails, great atmosphere, and perfect service. Everything was top quality and we truly enjoyed our time there. Unfortunately, the experience ended on a disappointing note. At 1:00 AM, a security guard aggressively insisted that we leave, even though Google Maps lists the bar’s closing time as 2:30 AM. He even tried to take my girlfriend’s glass while it was still half full, without asking if she had finished. When I calmly asked why we were being asked to leave so early, he questioned where I was from and threatened to kick me out without any valid explanation, simply for asking a question. It’s a shame, as the quality of the cocktails and the service do not match this kind of unprofessional behavior.

14/09/2025: We stopped for breakfast on a Sunday morning and when we opened the door we were told to go out as she was closing at 10.45am in the morning there was people inside we weren't the only people turned away. Won't be recommending this place to anyone she was very rude and the people inside just stared at us. We did nothing wrong.

11/01/2026: We had lunch here one Sunday when out for a walk. The food was lovely with the exception of the fries, which could have been crispier. The service was mostly good and the place was busy with a good atmosphere. On the negative side the coffee and hot chocolate arrived too early and were cold by the time our food arrived. The rustic apple pie we shared at the end was tasty but arrived cold and on its own even though they had said they would heat it up and serve it with cream. It was rectified for us quickly enough.

22/07/2025: Lovely spot in the middle of the town for a coffee pick me up and a slice of cake or bun. It’s v busy but had quite a lot of seating. My son loves the Cornish pasties which make for a lovely breakfast or lunch on the campsite. Coffee is good

31/12/2025: Have had great meals here, mediocre meals and sub-par meals. Service has always been top notch regardless of the quality of the food and whenever food has been bad the floor staff make up for it massively

10/01/2026: Oct 2025 We stayed at this hotel while holding a memorial for my beloved sister, and I truly cannot put into words how much comfort and kindness we received during such a painful time. The hotel’s central location was perfect, and the rooms were always warm, cozy, and immaculately clean—exactly what we needed. Breakfast each morning was excellent, with many delicious options offered daily, and the dining staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating to my food allergies, which meant so much to me. We have stayed here many times over the years and always loved it, but this visit was exceptional. The compassion shown to us will never be forgotten. The hotel manager, Edel, was professional, kind, and genuinely compassionate, going above and beyond to support us on short notice. Her leadership truly shows in her amazing staff—Chloe was wonderful,, kind and professional maureen the server had outstanding service accommodating all of us especially with food allergies This hotel will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We are deeply grateful to everyone who made a very difficult time a little easier.

04/01/2026: Good location...but be prepared to wait ...a cafe where you are not provided with menus, but expected to wait at random for wait staff to make eye contact. Happens too often. Staff training needed badly

30/12/2025: The location is perfect I met a very nice lady today working in the cafeteria downstairs, she was so sweet, im the man on crutches, if you see my comment i will comeback to see you.

18/07/2025: I had the kids fish and chips and it was great portion and tasted amazing. My nanny got a spice bag and it was amazing aswell. Staff were really friendly.
