27/12/2025: Food not great the hotel needs Upgrade and more staff at parties and weddings . They give a resent glass of wine . Good location right in the middle of Bandon Kid friendly I am sure it’s great value

01/09/2026: A great, typical neighborhood pub, just the way we like them. Lovely atmosphere with music playing on the rugby screens, families, couples, friends, and very few tourists. The food is excellent. Efficient, attentive, and quick service.

31/08/2026: Had Sunday lunch yesterday. I had pork w that came with mash potato. No vegetables or salad on plate. My wife ordered fish and chips and asked for chunky chips which our server told us they had. When served it came with ordinary chips and we were told that they had no chunky chips. My wife then decided not to have it and sent it back. We were then told they found a bag of chunky chips. When served the second time the fish was greasy and mostly batter and the 'chunky chips' were undercooked. We complained but got no satisfaction other than 'sorry about that'. We were also charged full price. We will not be returning ever again.

03/06/2026: So surprised at how poor the food quality was in the bar. Ordered the vegetarian fajitas. The attached picture was allegedly guacamole... it looked like something poured from a bottle instead of guacamole. Seating badly needs to be replaced or upholstered too. This place gets rave reviews for weddings. I cannot understand after visiting the bar

28/08/2026: Spent around 90 minutes here with the charming Ellie serving and educating me about Ireland, tractors and pine martens! I schooled her on quokas, Cottesloe and road trains! Really lovely time and hopefully you don’t end up losing your arm Ellie 😂

12/08/2026: Went to the Killumney Inn for lunch today..hadnt been there for a long time....brilliant menu with huge variety of food options . Top quality food and the service was fantastic...I had salmon with potatoes and vegetables with white wine sauce on the side...My husband had lasagne with garlic bread and huge portion of chips..plenty of food perfectly cooked and lovely quality..We definitely will recommend to friends and families and plan another visit in the near future. Very satisfied customers and phenomenal value for money.

24/08/2026: 1:30pm August 24th 2026. Girl called out our order and had it in a bag, I said our order isn't for takeaway. She said "I KNOW BUT I'VE NO TRAYS", I didn't say anything then she continued "AND I CAN'T GIVE YOU SOMETHING I DON'T HAVE CAN I?"... Stacks of dirty trays on top of the bins if she had the work ethic or cop on how to solve her lack of trays situation instead of being abrupt and rude to customers. . . 30 euros I wish we spent somewhere else. People like that are not employable which I'm sure she'll discover soon.

15/08/2026: Our guide may have hyped the food quality toooooo much. Average burger, okay fries. That said, the staff was wonderful!!!!

28/11/2025: Has obviously changed with new owners but not for the better. Restaurant size is reduced for the inclusion of a bakers shop. Walls are now bare. The menu and choice has somewhat shrunk. Sorry not changed for the better. Left feeling disappointed that the must have breakfast in Donegal town is no more. NOW PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

09/10/2025: Great food and atmosphere at Dock 84! 🍴☕️ We stopped into Dock 84 while in Donegal Town and had a really enjoyable experience. The place has a relaxed, modern vibe with plenty of space to sit back and enjoy a meal. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome right away. 😊 I ordered the grilled chicken burger 🍔🐔 and it was excellent — the chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked, with fresh toppings and a soft bun that held everything together nicely. It was filling without being too heavy, and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. My wife went for the waffle with a spread of Nutella 🧇🍫 and it was a real treat. The waffle was light and fluffy with just the right crisp on the outside, and the Nutella made it indulgent without being over the top. A perfect sweet option to balance out my savory choice. The second time we went we had egg shakshuka and Tikka wrap which was good again as usual One of the highlights here is that Dock 84 has its own bakery products 🥐🍞, and they are absolute delights — fresh, tasty, and clearly made with care. It’s a lovely bonus alongside the main menu. Do note that there’s usually a wait time of around 15 minutes ⏳ throughout the day, but honestly, the food and atmosphere make it worth it. For convenience, there’s a car park directly in front of the café 🚗, though it is a paid one 💳, so keep that in mind if you’re driving in. Service was quick once seated, prices were fair 💶, and the location is ideal if you’re exploring Donegal Town 🏞️. Whether you’re after a hearty bite or something sweet, Dock 84 is a spot worth visiting. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town! 🙌

11/09/2026: GAGGED. Chips? SO BAD. OKAY. NOT EDIABLE. RATHER EAT DIRT. CHICKEN? DID YOU BUY FROZEN CHICKEN AND JS THROW IT INTO THE OVEN AND CALL IT A DAY? ALSO WHY IS THE DRINK WARM? OKAY

06/01/2026: Unfortunately, Nanny Quinns has closed down now. We didn't book ahead of time but we will in future. That said they were very accommodating and took the pressure in their stride.Lovely old style pub serving great food and a great pint. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was second to none. Beside the canal so perfect for a drink on warmer days. I have passed it by for years but now that we are actually living nearby, we will definitely be frequent visitors.

04/08/2026: Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Busy spot which is always a good sign. Pancakes and full Irish were decent, not a fan of the sausage but otherwise a good feed before heading off on a hike.

15/08/2026: The service and atmosphere are fine, but the food and the price are terrible; it's a disgrace to Spanish cuisine. It's a pitty.

13/05/2026: Food is beautiful here. Tapas are great portions , Prawns an Bree are gorgeous. Atmosphere is nice im surprised this place isn't busier. Guinness is lovely also. Staff are all very friendly . Food comes out abit slow but they use authentic and good quality produce .

21/08/2026: Short angry lady at the counter demanded, very rudely, to see my ID and said its 21s only. Im 23 and the place was empty. I didnt like her attitude at all so i took my business elsewhere. Sack that cruel lady and maybe youll have more customers!
