31/08/2025: The worst taco fries I have ever eaten..all sauce no meat . never again.

24/08/2025: The place is very spacious with plenty of seating and a large parking area. Located right next to Tesco and Euro Giant, so it's easy to access. There's a drive-through as well, which is convenient. Food is above average. I've tried Supermac's food multiple times from here. Most of the time, it's good. But a few times the chicken felt a bit too salty. Haven't tried Papa John's from this location yet, so can't comment on that. Washrooms are clean and well maintained. Overall, it's an ok-ok place. Good for a quick bite, especially if you're around Tesco.

01/07/2025: Entered at 10:40pm asked staff if still serving was told yes I was left at the counter while they had a group chat only to be told they changed ther mind and is now closed horrible service won't be returning 0/5 stars

24/08/2025: Ordered 7.5oz burger meal with no cheese and extra bacon, regular coke and sweet chilli sauce. Got burger with cheese, Coke Zero and no sweet chilli sauce. Do you even read orders? Order 235 on 24/08/2025 at 6:58

08/08/2025: I have been here a few times, never a place that I got excited about going to, just simply half decent food and half decent service, easy. On this occasion though, I had to break my rule about bad mouthing a place. Every aspect needs to be remarked, firstly the food (veg)was more like formulated baby liga as if it was all blended and that was after the tiny portion which was dished out. First place ever to only serve just turkey and no ham also! (: And once I asked for a few chips just to prevent me leaving hungrier than when I came in, I was informed that would be additional charge. Oh and yes, the orange/blackcurrent dash is additional charge too. Was almost expecting to pay for tap water at this point. Regarding staff, there is like a fear lying over the younger staff from the older manager(s). A very stressful non relaxed environment overall. Definitely much better places to go to in the area!

03/08/2025: My daughter had fajitas and these were very tasty I had the salmon platter and it was very poor salad was mainly iceberg lettuce with red onion 2 scoops of cream cheese with a small portion of salmon 2slices of bread and I asked for another slice and was charged €2 for it I was very disappointed

10/08/2025: Very poorly received at 5 p.m. just to have a drink (maybe our fault!) the team, although young, was not at all welcoming or smiling. Our order clearly bored them and barely a goodbye, which was a shame but unpleasant enough to be highlighted 😌

08/08/2025: Seafood heaven at The Long Dock! 🦐🦪 Fresh oysters, juicy garlic prawns, and crispy bread, absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the outdoor seating with our dog and a glass of rosé. Great food, lovely atmosphere, perfect for seafood lovers!

26/03/2025: Food was beyond fantastic. Honestly we were surprised that we had some of the best pasta we had ever had in this hotel restaurant in Tralee. The cannelloni was absolutely to die for. Drink options were varied and extensive. Would love to come back here if only for the food.

24/01/2025: Arrived at this restaurant after walking out of Gallys where we were kept waiting twenty minutes and still nobody came to take our order in an empty restaurant so left.Food was amazing and Service was excellent, very efficient waitresses who were friendly and attentive.Food was beautiful, steak sandwich was very tasty and nice to find a strip loin steak in my steak sandwich and not grizzle like some places ,Guinness was good ,my Partner had Chicken which she enjoyed and everything was served warm and fresh.The cheesecake desert was the only dull moment ,a bit tasteless and if not for the caramel sauce would have been brutal .Nice to come out midweek and get nice decent food and drink with proper service.Menu selection is far superior to Gallys with alot more choice and better value.

14/08/2025: I was left standing and ignored at counter while I waited for a table on arrival. They weren’t even that busy. One waitress kept her back turned to me while she concentrated on the coffee machine. When another waitress eventually turned up I asked for a table for one. She looked at me without saying anything and then picked up 2 menus and walked off. I left and went to another cafe which I won’t name and was greeted with a warm smile and a good morning. Customer service at Grow HQ has declined significantly since I was last there.

27/07/2025: Below average experience. The food is ok. Portion size is absolutely terrible. Been here a few times but the last time was the final straw. Came here one day when it was busy, was just popping in with 3 friends to get a pint and be ok our way. There was a few people looking for seats so I approached the bar and asked the guy (mid 40’s?) about just sitting at the bar for a pint and he was absolutely foul mannered. He said “why don’t you join the queue like everyone else trying to get a table in here” I love locally and this bar/restaurant is quite close to me, many occasions I choose to go elsewhere for food and drinks. In this day and age that behaviour is unacceptable That episode, along with the overpriced menu and small food portion sizes and that barman’s behaviour ultimately made my decision on the palace. Couple weeks later “the shack” came up in conversation with different friends suggesting places to eat; I shut it down. Funnily enough one of the people in the group said that they ordered food weeks earlier and the same guy was intimidating to her because she didn’t eat her food and was pushing for answers, she was hungover and explained nothing was wrong with it. Won’t be returning, and I’ll be telling others the same story.

18/07/2025: Great atmosphere, delicious food, great drinks, and friendly personable service. Wife and I visited Athlone from the UK and were so glad we came here for lunch, highly recommend.

08/08/2025: We had 2 breakfasts and 2 Dinners at this place. The food was great, especially the custom breakfast options. I also loved the coffee from their in-house espresso machine

19/07/2025: Had a great evening meal there with my mother who had been given a voucher. All three courses were generous servings of perfectly cooked quality ingredients. The staff were super helpful and friendly too.

20/08/2025: Absolutely dreadful experience. Waited over an hour for food. Orders got mixed up. They did give us a free drink. Extremely understaffed. Food very expensive for what u got. Won't be returning

17/08/2025: Came from Tipp on Saturday afternoon before Oasis, great pizza and feed! Drinks were super. Pàulia served us and she was a great help with the menu for my girlfriend who has a couple of allergies. We were only in Dublin for the weekend that was in it, but will visit again the next time.

10/08/2025: Honestly, this restaurant blew me away! 😍 The food is super fresh, clean, and absolutely delicious – every bite was better than the last. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who are always ready to help. And the prices? 👌 Very reasonable for the quality you get. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to all my friends!

03/01/2025: My wife and I visited here on a terrible day two weeks weeks before Christmas. I've reviewed this restaurant before, do this will be short. The friendly server cleared a table for us, and we're seated in a few minutes. Food was delicious, served piping hot, sides of fries and mash were again delicious and piping hot. We visited on the day the heating was broken, but we did not notice, only the server told us. Coffee was again delicious. This is a beautiful restaurant, with good food and great staff. Can't wait to return soon. I'd highly recommend this place. Thanks again for another lovely meal.
