29/08/2026: Was there with two kids and partner yesterday evening Friday 28th August 2026 at 9pm. Ordered food and a man behind the counter and he was absolutely brilliant. Made ordering good craic and was a genuine nice fellow. I regret not getting his name to personally mention him. Highly recommend. First time in Supermacs for a while and he made it memorable, was nice to us and the kids too.

13/07/2026: Ordered through the Supermacs app. We got a call after an hour to say our food had been delivered to the wrong house. Then had to wait an additional 30mins for our order to arrive. Food was stone cold when it arrived. Genuinely disappointing. When you go in the food is always so good but delivery is just terrible. This is not the first time this has happened either. We’ve gotten wrong food before and sometimes missing items too. If you’re going in, grand, if you’re ordering for delivery order on just eat so at least you can get a refund!

13/10/2026: Hello, I ordered a Double Beef Mag (Max Meal) from Supermac’s in Carrickmacross this evening and paid €11 for it. Unfortunately, this is what I received. Where are the salad, sauce, and cheese? The burger was completely different from what I expected, and the overall service was extremely disappointing. For €11, I expected much better quality and value for money. This experience was unacceptable, and I’m very disappointed with the service I received. I wouldn’t recommend this branch based on my experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue.

12/09/2026: Been to various Supermacs over the years and I've never been disappointed with their food. Carrickmacross was equally good but their service was ridiculously slow. I was 20 minutes waiting for a burger, there were only 2 people ahead of me and they had already ordered. I could see my burger sitting in the hot shelf for 10 minutes while the staff wandered around talking. I have family in Carrick who also commented on how slow it was. I've been in others and never had this problem. Sort it out Supermacs, the food is great, but 20 minutes for a burger and chips?

18/09/2026: I am not a fish person, but the cod was amazing! Also had onion rings and was very impressed. Service is top-notch.

16/09/2026: Best fish & chips I've ever eaten by far! The chips were cooked to perfection - crunchy on the outside & soft on the inside. Just how I like them. They even came with there own tartar sauce & a slice of lemon. Shame we were only passing through as I'd happily make a detour just to go there again...the folk of Tralee certainly are fortunate to have Quinlan's...

19/06/2026: Very helpful and friendly staff. Food was excellent. Rooms spacious and very well equipped. All in all Great. 🏆.

08/04/2026: Old tired bathroom with grout missing from tiles in major need of a refurbishment. Never a 4 star hotel. Bedroom also old fashioned. Whole place needs modernisation. Update, the hotel apologised and said I should not have been in room 212 as it should have been closed for renovations. The hotel kindly offered a full refund. I will update score after I stay in another room. Update Room 209, bathroom brand new

18/10/2026: We came here for the NFL Redzone on Sundays. They were offering €5 for all pints. After 2 hours they changed the price of half the selection to €6. Absolute cheap asses with no commitment to the principle. Everyone but Heineken and their own brand shite price gouged.

25/08/2026: I was looking for a quick dinner nearby, no particular expectation. The menu is quite extensive but don't let it scare you. The food was really tasty, the staff incredibly welcoming and nice, I'd recommend 100%. Thank you for such a warm welcome!

09/08/2026: Loads of choice, including vegetarian options. All available as take-away as well as eat-in. Friendly service. Good price. Highly recommend.

26/09/2026: Burger was okay, but the fries weren't cooked enough. The staff wasn't very friendly.

25/09/2026: This place has gone downhill massively over the past year. Definitely my last time here. The staff seem completely careless. Even the 99s are a joke. tiny scoop of ice cream with a flake almost as big as it. Almost €3 for that is ridiculous. Standards have seriously gone downhill.

02/10/2026: Nice place. Very clean. Facilities well maintained and in good working order. We had scones, they were huge and tasted delicious. The coffee tasted good too but I think I confused the girl serving us by asking for a 'white coffee' - I should have asked for a flat white! Either way, we had a lovely hour sitting chatting eating our tasty scones. Will definitely return.

24/09/2026: We drove to this restaurant for half an hour, only to find it closed. It’s a shame about the wasted time.

19/10/2026: We visited this restaurant yesterday! Overall, everything was fine, the food was delicious, the portions were large. But there was a very unpleasant moment: I ordered chips to go with my ribs, but they didn't come. The waiter who took my order didn't come back. When we were leaving, I went to the restroom and my husband paid the bill. When I went outside and looked at the receipt, I discovered that my chips were still included in the bill. So I recommend checking carefully before paying.

11/10/2026: Food is great. But besides that- the staff are HORRIBLE. Very rude and not polite. Especially a blonde girl. Constantly on her phone and rolling her eyes and not doing any work. Looks bad for the business. I also seen on an app called TikTok Jalan Jalan has a TikTok page where she posted videos about her boyfriend. This is not business appropriate. I definitely think they need to upgrade the staff.

20/09/2026: Very disappointed. I wouldn't say avoid it entirely, but almost... if you prefer spicy food served in cardboard boxes, with no atmosphere or friendliness: go for it! For the same price, there must be better options elsewhere. On the plus side: they took our request not to put pepper in the spaghetti carbonara into account. But they forgot the egg! The penne was inedible, it was so spicy. We made the wrong choice :(

06/01/2026: Unfortunately, this restaurant has closed permanently. It will be sadly missed by regular happy customers. See my review below: The best breakfast / lunch restaurant in Monkstown bar none. Everything on the menu is delicious it’s so hard to choose. Super service too! I’m a regular and always will be. Highly recommend an early G&T.

06/12/2025: 3 stars max because the place is cosy and the coffee is good, but I wouldn’t return there for the brunch menu…branch menu is just average and not a good value for money.
