The Bailey Bar

05/11/2024: We didn’t stay in the room but had heard this was the best food in the area. Thank you random Irishman “you were right!” Atmosphere was pleasant and busy. Definitely an older building; they used a dumbwaiter to bring the food from the kitchen. Everything we ate or drank was delicious and filling. My wife tried different ciders and I continued my Irish whiskey drinking! If the rooms are as good as the food then next time we’ll stay here for a day!

13/11/2024: This is one of the best fast food outlets I have been in in a long time the food is 100% fantastic unfortunately thay don't do fish any longer due to the cost unless thay have put it back on the menu in recent times again
27/10/2024: What a fun spot! The staff, especially the manager Jimmy, were so attentive to our needs, the Chips were delicious, and there was really a happy vibe!
Can’t be beat for a casual meal and the price is just right :)

17/10/2024: Just love Gurn's. Chicken Parmesan was delicious. Was there back in 2019 and had the same wait person. Great place!
02/09/2024: The people at Gurns made me feel at home. Alana and Grace, in particular, were super friendly. Made leaving Ireland just that much harder. Can't wait to visit again.

03/11/2024: We were lucky enough to stumble upon this beautiful cafe. The decor was very relaxed and inviting. Service was impressive and the food was second to none. I would highly recommend popping in. I most certainly will return.

The Restaurant at Cobh Heritage

09/10/2024: I ate a delicious cake there, Gurr, which is a cake with raisins...and I drank a cappuccino, which was very good, and the staff was helpful.
The catering is in the form of a cafeteria.

Food homemade. I had a “spiced cauliflower soup”. Very fine taste. The seating is in the front part of the museum. It's a very nice atmosphere, bright, light-filled and spacious.

McGann's Pub
13/10/2024: This pub was full! When we walked into the pub all of the tables were full, but we were offered seats by the people there. We sat with a couple from France that were traveling before their medical residency was going to start. The music was fun and the fiddle player asked people to come up and sign with them. Our table mate was reluctant, but he found a French song and he went up front and entertained our crowd with his singing! The music was lively and the beer flowed freely. This was exactly what we hoped to find
09/10/2024: Difficult to review as we had planned to go given information that this pub is dog friendly . However it is not . No issue with that, their pub their rules but more to just to make other travellers aware as they are flagged up as being dog friendly on other sites.

28/10/2024: Love the mix of different age groups in the Crawford. Basically, you can't be too young (within legal limits) or too old!! Music at weekends, also great place for party with finger food provided by bar ... must be arranged in advance!

The chicken tenders are SPECTACULAR!!!
Very good service, especially from a dark-haired girl whose name I don't remember.
Nice setting.
In my case I avoid it on weekends because of the amount of people and loud noises.

31/10/2024: They opened a tad early and we were some of their first customers this morning. The croissants were fresh out of the oven and delicious! I ordered a strong cappuccino and it was made to perfection. I also got the Oreo Brookie (choc chip cookie base, layered Oreo cookies over the top and a brownie over that - wild yum!). Very welcoming atmosphere! We also got to meet Sandra the pup - I’m guessing the owner’s friend’s pup.

22/05/2024: Llegamos a este restaurante del hotel central para el almuerzo. El lugar era muy oscuro y no olía muy bien. Nos sentamos en una mesa (el personal simplemente nos ignoró). Diez minutos después todavía no hay reconocimiento del personal. Nos fuimos y encontramos un restaurante muy amable a la vuelta de la esquina.

17/11/2024: Amazing place to go watch sports. A must on your visit to Dublin. At night there is a disco and it is very good. I totally recommend.
15/11/2024: Always a good night at the Camden. I don't write reviews but my friend and I had issues with a bunch of lads being severely inappropriate. Chris, one of the security members was discreet and one of the nicest people I've dealt with. He moved us to a different table all while keeping an eye on the group. As two young woman out alone, my friend and I were extremely grateful for his professionalism. What a gem!
