08/01/2026: Lovely spot. Marking down a star because we rented a wooden pod. The website states: "private patio", which it wasn't, it also states "kettle provided" but the circuit breaker keep tripping every time we tried to boil it, so the power isn't sufficient. Also the parking near the pods should be reserved for pod occupants as they were taken by visitors or residents in the chalets.

06/08/2026: Lady was awesome and so kind to my daughter. Cant get good chinese food in California and was looking forward to this. Didnt disappoint and was great value. 3 adults and a kid ate for under €45 with a few apps too.

18/09/2026: Love this place, food and atmosphere are fantastic but it's the staff that make it really special. You have to try the pizza - homemade base and sauce and the toppings are so fresh. Cannot recommend enough.

09/08/2026: Had the pizza and chicken wings at RockHill and both were fantastic! The pizza had a perfectly crisp crust with a great balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings — every bite was packed with flavor. The chicken wings were cooked to perfection too: crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a delicious sauce that wasn't overpowering. Portions were generous, service was friendly, and the whole meal felt like great value for the quality. Highly recommend RockHill if you're craving a solid pizzas— we'll definitely be back!

31/08/2026: Very dear for what we got portions sizes are a joke plain pasta for a child 10.00 very over priced for the quanity of food we got also 8.00 for a dessert is a disgrace hence we didnt get any as would of been 36 for us all to have some wouldnt return here staff werent overly friendly either

11/04/2026: Room were nice and cosy,hot water took some time to come, Rooms have no sound proofing, breakfast was sad and really uneatable, nobody ever answered phone at reception, Reception staff can be over worked, tried / grumpy.

27/03/2026: We had food here.It was very nice.The house Chardonnay was poor and the man who seemed to be in charge was really smarmy so much so I jokingly asked him was he a Kerry man looking for business.But as I said I enjoyed the food….we didnt go back today.Returned to Lahinch a couple of months ago.The food here was top class.Big plates of perfectly cooked food.Exactly what you need after long walks.We will be back soon and will eat here everyday

08/10/2026: Was staying in Dun Loaghaire on vacation from the states with my female friend and we stopped in to the Two Foxes on a Sunday night for a pint after dinner. A drunk guy with a small dog came up between us panhandling for a free beer, putting his skittish dog on the bar with a loud two-person band blaring. I finally agreed to buy this guy one beer as we were leaving and another guy comes up from behind and grabs my arm as I am handing the bartender A 10 Euro note. I told him to let go of my arm or we were going to have a problem and the way-to-young bartenders just stood there stunned. Then, 4 tequila shots arrived that the two guys planned for me to pay for the tequila, which I didn’t. I would avoid this pub unless your idea of fun is getting hustled for drinks, rolled for cash, or worse.

20/08/2026: Attempted to go into two foxes when I was met at the door by a manager who told me that I wasn’t getting in due to a few underage teenagers who had come from a nearby pub were too drunk and causing a disturbance. He immediately grouped me and a friend with them as we are young looking, but was unbelievably rude to us throughout the whole experience. I then went up to the bar where I provided ID showing that I was of age and I explained that I had no idea who the teenagers where and the manager told me that I was “chatting way too much” being very rude and then told me to leave. If you want to be treated like a scumbag by the management in a pub, I suggest you come here! If you don’t, go to anywhere else.

25/09/2026: Every time you order online for collection and show up at time given,the food is never ready. They put it in when you come to pick it up. Whats the point ordering it online and being charged online fee if theyre only putting it on when you get there. Should be ready to pick up or id just come in and order it. Whats the point otherwise. Happens every time

22/09/2026: Delicious food. Very good and kind service. The atmosphere is calm. Honestly, one of the best Supermac's I've been to❤️🎉.

16/08/2026: So today we went to meet up at Reddans. The people I was with were going to eat. I had my very well behaved dog with me and tied her near the door away from food and people. An employee asked us to move to the outside area with the dog. One of the party was in her 80s and certainly couldn't sit outside as it was too cold. The place was quiet and the dog was disturbing no one. I had to leave. I hope the new owners don't run business off the premises.

04/07/2026: Great place to stay 😁...loved it great service lovely room, lift's too, Food very good. But like the location is fantastic in the heart of the beach town of Bettystown.....lots to do and see. Plus the D2 bus stop is located outside taking you to laytown and then drogheda minutes away.....

24/05/2026: Room 29 is not suitable for guests. There was a heavy, stuffy smell in the room. Fortunately, the window could be opened to air it out. Unfortunately: the kitchen ventilation exhaust was located right in front of the window. Besides the smell of frying, it made quite a lot of noise. We asked for another room, but were assured that the kitchen would close at 8:00 PM and wouldn't reopen until 8:00 AM the next morning. Well, in practice, that was 9:45 PM and 6:30 AM (!). But even when the ventilation was off, things weren't right: the small terrace where guests or staff could smoke a cigarette or make a phone call was directly under our window. And unfortunately, this was done regularly at night as well. In short: refuse room 29. The hotel management really needs to do something about this; such an unsuitable room detracts from the entire stay. It is a real shame, because the location is good, the people are nice, and the breakfast is good.

12/05/2026: I would gladly give the food stars. My room was still awaiting renovation, but it was clean and we lacked nothing. A charming hotel, just as you'd expect in Ireland. Super friendly staff.

19/11/2025: Poppyseed is a wonderful place to spend an hour beside the river with an outdoor seated area overlooking the river and bay. The food is freshly cooked to order with plenty of variety. Coffee is the best I’ve had in any location worldwide!! Seriously, the coffee is a lovely blend. It is the heartbeat of Clarinbridge village. It has a beautiful garden centre practically linked to its back entrance. The staff are just lovely, well trained and very friendly. Go and enjoy. Pat Surlis

19/02/2026: Please be advised, this is no longer a cafe! Tried to visit in Feb26 and it only does interiors. I’m sure the interiors are lovely. The lady in the Top forecourt across the way said the cafe is gone now.

04/10/2026: Had and evening meal here yesterday, from start to finish it was lovely , the 2 members of staff that attended to us were pleasant and friendly girls , the decor was tasteful and cosy , and the food was top notch ! We enjoyed every bite ! Will definitely be back when in Kilkee again . Compliments to the chef and owner !

01/08/2026: First time here for food. Absolutely amazing. Beautifully presented and full of flavour. Portion size wont leave you hungry thats for sure. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Highly recommend.

27/07/2026: We had the most beautiful meal at Vines Ballyneety last Saturday. It was a family gathering after a funeral and I just can’t praise Gerry and team enough. It had been prebooked and from the min we arrived you could see how professional this place is. We were shown to our tables, all were set beautifully. Menus already at each sitting and what a choice there was. It was a three course meal with tea and coffee and whatever drinks we wanted. It was hard to choose from menu as from first glance, I wanted everything that was on the menu. The food was beautifully cooked, and presented on plate. The service from the staff was excellent, asking several times if we were ok for everything, fantastic young people. Lovely comfortable chairs and beautiful views while having your meal, drinks and chat. I was so proud that my American family had somewhere like this to come to for meal and get together with their Irish family. Everything about the place is Hotel quality. Thank you so much Gerry and staff again for making a day that was sad for my family, as comfortable and stress free as possible.
