30/08/2026: went out for a day in limerick and went to the unicorn, my dad ordered “scampi” and it wasn’t even scampi he didn’t eat it. i got chicken goujons mash and gravey. the mash was terrible and the gravey was basically water with no seasoning at all. the food was just not nice i do not recommend going here

28/08/2026: Maybe it was the time of the day 2 o'clock there was only 2 other tables occupied the menu was limited but good portions were good the staff were very efficient.

26/08/2026: Had a great time here with my family. Food was served promptly, the staff were very welcoming and to be congratulated for their attentiveness and good humour. Good value for very decent food. 26th August.

18/08/2026: Got a chicken salad box and a coronation chicken sandwich for lunch €26:45. The salad box was basically lettuce leaves and some chicken. Pretty tasteless and didn’t taste of anything good at all. The chicken sandwich was awful. It fell apart and had the barest minimum of ingredients. Definitely won’t be going back again.

12/09/2026: An extremely rude staff member served us coffees this morning. He got the order wrong, had no light milk and the coffee cups were only half full. He was by far the rudest member of staff I have ever come across. Avoid this place.

22/01/2026: The owner’s behavior was beyond inappropriate. After I briefly used the restroom, I was confronted about forgetting to flush — fine, human error — but it escalated into being scolded about needing to *wash the sink* because I used hand sanitizer and “you don’t leave a sink that way.” I wish that were satire. What pushed it into absurd territory was the owner then **following me outside onto the street** to continue berating me. For context, this was in Ireland, where public bathrooms regularly survive far worse than a missed flush, and I was a young tourist who had literally just stopped in looking for the Wi-Fi password. That level of hostility says everything about this establishment’s culture. If you’re looking for genuine warmth, fair prices, and an actually wholesome experience, go somewhere authentic instead. Keep your “positive energy” far away from this negative environment — the branding may say serene indication, but the attitude screams bitter.

23/07/2026: I come here every now and again for lunch during my work break and sometimes for a quick dinner. The food quality is very high as is the environment. The service is always fab, even during the lunch rush you’ll be met with a friendly smile and a good service. Keep in mind your server might be a bit faster with what they say around these times. ( 12-2PM ) , but that won’t affect your experience. My go to order is a toasted pork burrito, and I would personally recommend the pork. The chicken is the most popular but the pork has more flavour. A small burrito usually does it for me, and fills me up but it depends on yourself. Regardless I do recommend going in, and giving it a try. The staff are always lovely and don’t mind you trying sauces, meats or salads on spoons before you put it into your burrito/bowl so you know you’ll get your moneys worth. Great Staff, Great management. P.S the Guacamole is more than worth the price it tastes quite authentic and the guac and chips deal for 5€ is such a nice treat if you’re getting dinner.

07/06/2026: Dont bother ordering online for collection they wont look at it untill you are there even though i recieved a notification that order was confirmed and was given a time for collection and also they got the order wrong even at that. Wont be going back.

30/08/2026: The food comes from the food truck behind the house and is very good. Serving it on plates would be better to reduce waste.

08/08/2026: A very pleasant surprise, this unassuming little restaurant. Excellent draft beers and very good, reasonably priced dishes (salmon tacos and ribs). Friendly service.
