20/09/2026: The Most Perfect Wedding Day at Errigal County House Hotel ❤️ We got married at Errigal County House Hotel last week, and honestly, I would do the whole day over and over again. From the moment we booked our wedding in November 2025 for September 2026, right through to the big day, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. As we had to organise everything through email and over the phone, having Niall there to guide us made such a huge difference. He was absolutely brilliant from the very beginning. He helped us secure our date, answered our endless questions (and there were plenty!), and even contacted local photographers and bands to check availability and help organise things on our behalf. It took so much stress out of the planning process. When I travelled over in June to finalise everything, I finally got to meet Niall and the team in person. We had such a lovely time tasting the food, going through the plans and seeing the hotel properly for the first time. It made us even more excited for the wedding. We arrived a few days before the wedding, and Niall and his team were already on hand, ready to take care of all those last-minute jobs and little details. At that point, I was able to completely let go and trust them. I went off to enjoy the night before and the morning of the wedding without having to worry about a thing. When I finally walked downstairs on the morning of the wedding, I was completely blown away. The hotel looked absolutely incredible even better than I had imagined. Everything had been set up perfectly, and Niall had thought of every single detail. I genuinely didn’t have to worry about what needed to be done because he had it all under control. One moment that really sums up how amazing he is was when I suddenly realised I hadn’t given him a photo frame of my grandparents that I wanted on the cake table. Without hesitation, Niall ran up to the bridal suite himself, collected it and brought it down so that I could have it included in my photos. It might seem like a small thing, but in the middle of such a busy and emotional day, it meant so much to me. The whole day was simply perfect. The food, the hotel, the organisation, the atmosphere and, most importantly, the people all came together to create a day we will never forget. Niall is an incredible owner and manager, and it’s clear how much pride and care he puts into making every wedding special. He has a fantastic team around him, and they genuinely go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. If you’re a bride or groom looking for the perfect place to get married, look no further than Errigal County House Hotel. You can completely trust Niall and his team to take care of you, your guests and all those little details that make your wedding day so special. We honestly couldn’t recommend Errigal County House Hotel enough. Thank you, Niall, and the whole team, for giving us the most incredible wedding day. We wish we could do it all again! ❤️

18/10/2026: So overall decent restaurants, but I wasn’t too happy about when I was trying to order for fish and chips the waitress or the person that was taking the order was saying that I should be getting the fresh cod She said that’s the best one, but I was still trying to figure out which one I wanted to eat because I just want fish and chips obviously those a variety of fish and chips but I don’t know which one to choose so she just told me to get the fresh one I was like OK I went for the fresh one. I ate it, bro that shit was ass. I’m so sorry that was the worst piece of fish I’ve ever had in my life. I’m not even gonna lie. I’m never having that fish and chips again, the chips were good, but overall I feel like the rest would’ve been a lot better if it wasn’t so crowded in and had a bit more space because I still don’t understand why there is a whols blockages of walls around the entire place like we were just out as a group of friends and we can’t even be like close together because it’s so blocked off like it’s just sad man, but still is a good restaurant but for me anyway I don’t even think I’m gonna be going there again. I’m so sorry.

14/10/2026: Was in there yesterday evening and there was girl there called Tiffany and she was very excellent and polite at her job . As my father does say People like this would do your heart good . Food is good as usual. King regards James

14/09/2026: Superb food & service Was on route to Dingle and stop here for lunch. We had a pleasant surprise. Go for the shepherd's pie or pork chops. Both were outstanding. The vegetables and mash were great too!

05/08/2026: We’ve been to Ireland five times. Stopped here for food and had THEE best Irish stew I’ve ever had!!! Worth stopping on your way thru to Shannon or Limerick.

10/06/2026: The management of this so called establishment are absolutely disgusting the way they treat people, I’ve seen it multiple times now, the last being a woman they got onto for absolutely no reason whatsoever as she was doing no harm at all and then throwing her out in the end. The staff here most of them are friendly but any of the staff working here should really consider taking up employment elsewhere as this place is rotten to the core. All their “lovely posts” on FB you’d think for a moment it was a lovely place to visit but it’s the furthest thing from it. Will never ever be back in this dump.

23/07/2026: I come here every now and again for lunch during my work break and sometimes for a quick dinner. The food quality is very high as is the environment. The service is always fab, even during the lunch rush you’ll be met with a friendly smile and a good service. Keep in mind your server might be a bit faster with what they say around these times. ( 12-2PM ) , but that won’t affect your experience. My go to order is a toasted pork burrito, and I would personally recommend the pork. The chicken is the most popular but the pork has more flavour. A small burrito usually does it for me, and fills me up but it depends on yourself. Regardless I do recommend going in, and giving it a try. The staff are always lovely and don’t mind you trying sauces, meats or salads on spoons before you put it into your burrito/bowl so you know you’ll get your moneys worth. Great Staff, Great management. P.S the Guacamole is more than worth the price it tastes quite authentic and the guac and chips deal for 5€ is such a nice treat if you’re getting dinner.

07/06/2026: Dont bother ordering online for collection they wont look at it untill you are there even though i recieved a notification that order was confirmed and was given a time for collection and also they got the order wrong even at that. Wont be going back.

30/10/2026: Just got garlic cheese chips. Waited maybe 5mins only. They are very affordable Delicious in taste and the staff is so sweet I regret not going there before

05/09/2026: Came here to grab a something to eat and grab a beer. We got here at 4pm when google said they opened at at 2pm and the kitchen opened at 3pm. The bartender said he had just opened and when I asked for food, he said food was not being served. Oh well, moved on. Please fix your you hours and fix your food hours.

06/01/2026: Unfortunately, Nanny Quinns has closed down now. We didn't book ahead of time but we will in future. That said they were very accommodating and took the pressure in their stride.Lovely old style pub serving great food and a great pint. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was second to none. Beside the canal so perfect for a drink on warmer days. I have passed it by for years but now that we are actually living nearby, we will definitely be frequent visitors.

13/03/2026: I cycled a hundred miles the day I visited The Courtyard Café and was very impressed with the Chicken Caesar wrap and chips that was served, absolutely outstanding.

17/10/2026: First of all when me and my girlfriend arrived we could tell that the waiting staff already knew we weren’t going to enjoy our time here, for starters we ordered the prawns and the chicken wings, as below you can see the chicken wings we were given and the prawns we’re lacking in sauce and flavour, there was a bit of bread that was given on the side that wasn’t cooked, flavourless and cold, we were made order mains before we were given starters. We ordered a pizza that was cooked on top but not cooked on the bottom at all, when we picked it up all the toppings fell off, our server was very apologetic as he knew himself, only good thing was the wine which thank god they didn’t make in the kitchen. Also online menu completely different to actual menu and at least 20% more expensive in house, wouldn’t recommend for food very disappointed, had to ask for them to play music as well as we sat inside and was so quiet
