04/07/2026: This is a review of 2 separate visits, 6 years apart. In 2020, Alfie's served creme brulee. It is still the absolute best I ever had. It somehow had like a 1 inch sugar crust but the rest of the custard was still creamy and smooth and cool. As for the rest, food is above average, drinks are good and well priced, and the vibe is very chill. Even 6 years apart, aside from no more creme brulee, Alfie's is still a hit with my wife and myself.

01/07/2026: We came to dinner the fajitas were good, but the waiters could be more attentive. We had to ask for napkins two or three times.

08/04/2026: Soup of the day was fabulous-best soup I have had in a restaurant, veggie burger was also very delicious. Great atmosphere too.

12/01/2026: thank you to the tall blonde-ish woman who was working there saturday lunchtime for helping us get home via the concierge! you are an angel! also the warm breads and salads were delicious, and the other staff working that day were super kind and attentive 💛

20/02/2026: I came in here just few months ago just for few pints and I found the staff really nice there i have been to loads of pubs but this one was by far the most welcoming I've been to

17/07/2026: Highly recommend Relish, quaint and cosy, good grub also. May need to reserve table in advance.

10/07/2026: Standards have severely dropped since they updated the menu and painted it orange.. below average food, small portions and expensive for what it is.. back when this was relish or even the original navy restaurant (not docked) this was the place to be! Disappointed

11/07/2026: Super cute pub. Lots of great antiques and curiosities on the walls and ceilings and beautiful wood panelling and furniture. Great patio area as well. Food was fine, basic pub fare and of course there was a decent selection of draft. Pricing was consistent with the touristy area.

14/06/2026: We came at 00:17, the boat goes at 00:55 turns out the boat went early, we thankfully got another boat the next day at 21:00 because we complained about it. we didnt get any email or anything that the boat went early, PISSED ME OF ALOT.

07/06/2026: Lousy.. The one day in the year I wanted to travel by boat and it wasn't running due to a training exercise. Minimal help with enquiries. Electric Notice board broken for two weeks with out of date information on it ..

03/06/2026: Great place to stay, not too grand or pretentious, more of a relaxed luxury. Great breakfast also. Would not mind a more knowledgeable staff

02/06/2026: Fabulous! We had our wedding here and it couldn't have gone better. Every single member of staff was exceptional from Laura who coordinated the event to the bar staff, reception, the cleaning staff who gave my little nephew cookies on the house and Pierre who gave my partner a shirt coz he forgot his 🤦🏼‍♀️ Just an overall lovely experience, we were made feel so special. Would highly recommend The Dylan for a wedding x

27/10/2025: An excellent lunch spot when walking the Boardwalk at Arcers. Lovely staff. Delicious food. Will come back to stay for a night.

13/09/2025: If you're looking for good food, good Guinness, and a cosy atmosphere, this is the place! Very generous helpings for the price, and lovely staff. (And if you want to try Drumshanbo Gin this is a great place to enjoy it)

30/11/2025: Soup was chunky flavoured water with hard bread , roast beef was like a ready made meal from centra , no flavour to potatoes and veg was hard

07/06/2026: Dont bother ordering online for collection they wont look at it untill you are there even though i recieved a notification that order was confirmed and was given a time for collection and also they got the order wrong even at that. Wont be going back.

23/05/2026: What a fantastic eat out. The toasted burrito with all the works and designed by Ben was out of this world. On top of that, the friendly service and fresh and friendly manner of all the staff was very noticeable and it was a pleasure talking to them. Just fantastic guys, thank you Emma, Abby and Ben, we will definitely be coming back. :-)

13/12/2025: Amazing food 5 of us ate and everyone was more than happy. Steak was so tasty and cooked to perfection the mushroom was unbelievable onky thing I would improve on was the chips. Some way too crunchy but overall delicious. Staff are very friendly was a lovely lunch. Will be back.

19/07/2026: I am giving 1 star and thats for the staff, who were plesent and polite. The food took over 20mins to arrive. I ordered bbq chicken salad, thats not what i got. It was precooked chicken on willtered salad and bottled bbq sauce poured all over the top of it. My son ordered bbq chicken burger with chips. The chips were soggy and tasted like old oil and the burger was again precooked chicken in a bun with bbq sauce poured on top, it wasnt even a good bbq sauce. This place would make Mcdonalds look like fine dinning. The food was shitel and thats beening kind. DONT EAT HERE.

13/07/2026: Delicious food, friendly service, indoor and outdoor seating… What more could you want? Small but perfectly formed.

23/07/2026: Quaint little place. Quite and food was home cooking. It was all delicious.
