24/04/2025: Perhaps we should have sticked to the cakes which looked delicious, but it was lunch so we had soup which was a joke. It was meant to be vegetable. It was very watery and tasted like stock cubes. The wrap and sandwich were ok but too expensive.

27/10/2025: The staff and food were both top notch! Everyone was so friendly and helpful and got our food out quickly! The food was also extremely delicious we almost ate here both nights of our stay!

13/07/2025: Esta fue nuestra primera experiencia cenando en The Horseshoe después de muchos años de simplemente "tomar bebidas" en este popular pub de Kenmare. En busca de mejillones con salsa picante los encontramos en Horseshoe. Una salsa de chile y chorizo que estaba perfecta. Los mejillones estaban cocinados en su punto justo, de modo que todos menos uno se abrieron, pero permanecieron regordetes y sabrosos en la salsa picante que estaba distribuida uniformemente sobre ellos. He probado porciones más grandes de mejillones en otros pubs, pero rara vez una salsa picante con mucho cuerpo que te pidiera que comieras la salsa que quedaba como sopa después de haber comido todos los mariscos. Nuestro mayor cumplido siempre es: "Volveremos".

10/06/2025: Gran lugar. Parece un restaurante una vez que estás en la puerta, no dejes que esto te desanime. Muy agradable. Gran stout. Muy agradable, personal amable. Comí unas pintas antes y luego volví para la cena, que estaba delicioso.

25/09/2025: I had the seafood trio which included sea bass, salmon, and tiger prawns. The portion of the sea bass and salmon was good but the tiger prawns just seemed like they were frozen shrimp. Service was incredibly slow and the server didn't put in one of our entree orders. Overall, I thought the meal was just ok.

02/10/2025: A place where paintings and ceramics are exhibited. Very interesting. In addition to having an excellent restaurant, you can visit the artists' stalls.

16/09/2025: I had the most amazing meal, carvery. The staff are super cool. Great to see craft beers and cider being supported. Big shout out to Stonewell Cider lovers, I'd a non alcoholic.

08/09/2025: The Bishopstown Bar is always a favourite for our family but we had not been in a year or so and we shocked by the increase in pricing. The steak sandwiches were only okay. Nothing in particular to complain about but nothing to praise either. The scampi was a small portion but delicious! The curry was extremely delicious though adding chicken certainly raised the price. The pasta however was extremely oily, with a pool of it even visible in the photo. The garlic bread was grand and was used to try and soak up the oil. The staff were lovely, the checked on us so regularly it was almost annoying but to be fair it was a quiet night and there were not many other customers. Overall I would come back but I would avoid the pasta dishes.

03/08/2025: We often go to 'Cafe Provence' for brunch and have loved it there every time. The food is absolutely delicious and we can genuinely say that about every single thing we tried off their 'Specials' menu. Their desserts are also very fresh delicious. The service is literally second to none with us never having to wait for anything too long. Having worked as a waiter myself, ai can say that the service is of top notch for what the place is. We will keep coming back as it is definitely worth a drive from Rush.

20/07/2025: Hi, Sitting here writing this review, we ordered breakfast. Arrived cold, they reheated the plate. Beans were burnt and pale, poached eggs were too runny, not cooked correctly to eat. This is the first review I've done, normally we let it slide if we get bad food. But this was so bad. The Service was great, waitress so apologetic, not her fault.

19/07/2025: we’ve gone here before and really loved the food. We haven’t been in about 6 months and the entire menu has changed and is way smaller now. The food is expensive for what you get, they forgot one of our sandwiches and it was rushed out to the table. The cheese wasn’t melted on any of the food, we ordered garlic cheese chips and most of the cheese was at the bottom with very little sauce. My partner found something hard in their beef toastie which seemed to be a part of a bone. Staff were very good despite everything. Food was disappointing for the price that you pay and it’s a massive downgrade from what it was.

10/09/2025: Driver went to the wrong house. When I rang I was told I had to pay again to get it delivered after waiting an hour already for my food. Terrible service

18/07/2025: I had the kids fish and chips and it was great portion and tasted amazing. My nanny got a spice bag and it was amazing aswell. Staff were really friendly.

10/10/2025: The only reason I didn’t rate my food 5 stars, is because it was a bit too spicy. Other than that I was PLEASANTLY surprised! I’m usually a very picky eater because I’m scared of germs and new food but this place was awesome. It was clean, happy environment, and the food made me come out of my comfort zone to try. I got the California bagel with everything removed except avocado but when my food came out it had avocado and grilled chicken. BUT, it looked amazing and even though they were very apologetic and willing to make it again, I insisted that it was okay and I didn’t mind. And I’m so happy they accidentally put chicken on my bagel because it was absolutely spectacular!

03/10/2025: Sometimes you don’t need the coziness of a pub, but rather good craic and a wide variety of beers – that’s when this is my go-to spot. And just one door down, you’ve got the cozy pub for when you’ve had enough of the big buzz.

13/10/2025: Fab hotel, was here as a wedding guest. Food was delicious. Function room beautiful. Didnt stay over so cant comment on the rooms.

11/10/2025: Have been with our kids and as we were provided with a table by the bar manager and only to be told it by the manager was residents only bear in mind this manager was a European ! Three people got tables afterwards we have been told and they confirmed they were not residents. It’s 2025 and racism is still and well alive. To the manager we will be seeing you in court !!! Plenty of hotels where we can spend our hard earned money with better service and would be glad to have our custom !
