23/04/2025: We had lunch here on Easter Sunday. The food was really nice. Four of us had lunch different dishes, roast beef, pasta, and curry, all of which were really good. The staff were very attentive & nice We will definitely go again

02/10/2025: Took 17 minutes to get my 1st Guinness (and we visited at 3pm) I watched the poor girl, who was doing everything herself, pour my Guinness almost to the very top, before slamming it down. I had to remind her to top it off - worst point I've had in Ireland. Food was average - an expensive lesson learned.

07/10/2025: Very nice cozy atmosphere and the chef is great. Food came out quickly. Some of the younger waiters are rude with no manners. If staying in the hotel this place is still a great place.

26/09/2025: We celebrated our engagement with the three course meal at Mapas, and it was wonderful! Every course was delicious, filling with beautiful presentation. The staff was hospitable and accommodating, I highly recommend dining here and getting the 3 course meal.

10/10/2025: Had the worst experience yesterday when I went for dinner, unbelievable. As soon as I came in I spoke with a girl to place my order, that was fast, she asked me a few times to repeat my order, but no issue on that. I asked her for table service and she gave me the number and I sat on my table to wait for the food, that’s when my nightmare started. I’ve been here for food many times and they do usually take a long while in giving you the food, so I was patient, till 35 min passed by and I was looking at the people that was arriving next to me getting served their food before me. I approached the same girl that I ordered from and asked her if she knew where my food was, she said you ordered garlic bread right? I said yes and she pointed at one that was coming out of the oven in that moment, I knew it wasn’t mine because it didn’t have bacon but I let it passed cause I don’t like complaining or getting into arguments but even her attitude when she pointed at it wasn’t what I would call customer service. Ten more minutes passed by and I was still without food, when I went back up to her she panicked when she looked at me, went to talk to her supervisor and came back saying someone took my food by mistake. Are we genuenly messing here? Do they not check receipts?? She asked me if I wanted the food or a refund and I said I wanted the refund but I was annoyed cause now I had to drive down to McDonald’s to get food. At this stage she didn’t even say sorry. When I asked when the refund was going to be back into my account she said now and I said right now? And she said in the next 5-7 days. That annoyed me even more and I asked her to just give me the food. The supervisor came down to do the refund but didn’t even bother to talk to me or say sorry I told her I just wanted the food. 5 minutes after she came to my table saying that they had my food but she put it for takeaway and they called my number out but “I didn’t hear it” why should I be hearing whatever they’re talking when I know I ordered table service? So not only she made a mistake but she tried to blame me. I had to repeat how unfair she was being and that she hadnt even said sorry once and that was the first time that she said I’m sorry and then asked if I wanted the food that was kept for the past 20 min or if I wanted new food. I told her to just give me the food that was standing there. No respect, no apologies, from employee or supervisor. I definately do not recommend this place after this and I don’t think I’ll ever be back after this horrible experience and overpriced for a garlic bread and chicken wings that btw I asked for bbq sauce and got given frank hot sauce.

05/10/2025: The restaurant's location is excellent, and the meal vouchers from our hotel were a great start. The food itself was fantastic, which made our experience even more frustrating. Unfortunately, the service was atrocious. We were not attended to at any stage during our meal, and no one checked if we wanted more drinks. We also had long waits for our food and had to flag down staff just to get the bill. It was disappointing to see what looked like a lack of training or management, as staff seemed to stand around talking to each other instead of helping customers. The poor service completely overshadowed what should have been a wonderful meal.

06/09/2025: For the past 6 years we have booked rooms for 7 families to visit and enjoy Laytown racing. We stay 2 x days and Reddan's cannot be anymore accommodating. We love everything about this hotel. Location, rooms with stunning views, food, service and the owner is absolutely lovely. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR REDDAN'S xxxxxxx

17/07/2025: We stopped into Reddans for a bite to eat and enjoyed a delicious meal. They also make a wonderful latte.

20/08/2025: A restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. They don't have a ton of options on the menu, but both the food and the location are very good.

23/07/2025: I got Lunch Sandwich Special here yesterday for a small party in my house Sndwiches, wraps & rolls...different variety of each...all very fresh tasty...and all enjoyed by my guests!!!Most asked where I got them and had no problem passing on details... Would highly recommend

09/07/2025: Staff are always lovely, food and coffee are great and very reasonably priced in comparison to other establishments in the Blackrock area. Really good selection of sandwiches, almost too good though, hard to make up your mind 🤣

19/08/2025: Great pub , good food , well worth going to , we had 8 people last Saturday evening, no booking and they did their best to accommodate us for late food , would definitely recommend the loft .

08/08/2025: Popped in this morning for breakfast with my newborn in his pram. The waitress took me to the back, which was stuffy and filled with patrons, I expressed that I’m breastfeeding and don’t feel comfortable feeding my baby while literally sitting 30cm away from a stranger and said I’d like to sit in the front section which was empty apart from one occupied table. I sat down, 10 mins later I was asked to move to the back again by another waitress. I repeated my concerns but she insisted I move because the pram was too close to the empty 2 seater table next to me. I told her I’d rather leave, which I did.
