30/10/2024: I can't share the positive reviews. We booked 5 nights there and as a thank you we were given a very old-fashioned room with mold in the bathroom. Everything looked different when we booked. After complaining, we were allowed to change - to an identical room with a little less mold. There were only lamps in the room (one of them broken) with dark lampshades - no ceiling light - which is why it was always dark in the room. The room was on the ground floor and you could easily see the bed from the parking lot. The heating knocked at night and it was still always cold. Of course there was no air conditioning either. We will not be returning to the Montenotte Hotel and feel it was an expensive experience... The Motion Health Club, the panoramic restaurant and the spa are really good, hence still 3 stars.

26/10/2024: We requested early checkin, and even on a very busy weekend we got it! Staff are so friendly and helpful. Could not recommend this place more! A walk up a big hill to get here but taxis and buses are easily available.

21/09/2024: An extremely cozy little bar, you feel at home here! We went to live music and it was really nice and familiar. I can only highly recommend it to anyone who comes here!

18/09/2024: Not a great spot to be honest. The food is basic, no frills. Not very clean innthe kitchen area. Best thing about the shop is the fishing supplies.

26/10/2024: This is a great little restaurant. They Have a good dinner menu. They do a lovely turkey and ham. Very friendly staff. You can have a couple of non-alcoholic beers with your meal. Good value kids meals.And you get a free jelly and ice cream with them. Overall , if I could give it six stars I would.

29/10/2024: Very busy chipper with good reason.Called here on a monday evening and it was non stop busy.Counted 6 staff all flat out yet were very nice to deal with.Chips were top class i must say.Only negative is its too pricey for what it is.I had small chips,2 plain sausages and a tanora,it was €11.

10/10/2024: Huge bar near the wonderful People's Park just on the outskirts of the city.Chess club every Tuesday night,,but it's a nice pub if you'd like a quiet pint or to watch the football..they do food,but I can't comment as I've never eaten here...seems to have standard fare(Soup and sandwiches chicken Kiev's,casserole/stew,fish and chips etc.)Plenty of room and a cosy snug with fire at the front.Has potential to be a great pub.Could do with a makeover as it's tatty,

28/09/2024: Friday night, after work pints, rugby on the TV. Great pub to sit in with a few friends. Quick and friendly service.

12/08/2024: We went for dinner. Both the starter and main courses were over cooked and very disappointing. We complained to staff but they weren’t very responsive. There didn’t appear to be anyone in charge. Would not recommend

19/08/2024: Stayed in Shamrock Inn Hotel with my wife, for 2 nights, 16/17 August 2024. Altogether positive experience of this delightful family run hotel !! Room was delightful and spotless, with a "secret " Bathroom -- slide the full size mirror, and there it is -- good size and spotless also ! Our vegetarian breakfasts were delicious and freshly cooked, and evening meals and desserts, first class !! We strongly recommend this hotel, and its always attentive, most pleasant and helpful staff - at all levels 😀!! We will most definitely return !! Thanks, everyone there, for a most enjoyable experience !!

01/11/2024: First time there, I had just finished my shift and couldn't have chosen better. The drink, Orchard Thieves was cold and well tasty with their delicious Burger was a damn excellent option, staff was genuinely helpful and attentive. Will def go back if I am ever around.

25/06/2024: DJ was no use. The guinness was very poor, there'd be never a ballad session on a Saturday night in here

09/06/2024: Live music and plenty of large portions when eating. Very nice service.

20/10/2024: We ended up there by chance, just passing by. The place isn't much to look at, outside or inside, but even though it was lashing rain outside, there were good few people inside eating lunch. We decided to join. I had the best chicken curry in a long long time. The chef Shantha Hettiarachchi (I took their card) is very friendly, we got chatting and he even gave us a bag of Sri Lanka's "chips" to go (find out for yourselves, I'll leave it be a mystery). Definitely worth a visit, we'll be back there for sure next time we are around Limerick area. While there, locals were calling in for take aways, so other food must be gorgeous too.

20/09/2024: Mein Extrawunsch beim essen wurde ohne Problem genehmigt. Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Ich durfte sogar für 3 Stunden mein Gepäck dort lassen und die Umgebung zu erkunden. Vielen herzlichen Dank!

05/09/2024: Hard to say. Marked as temporary closed in Maps. Went to check for any notice about it reopening and there was nothing. Looks pretty shut up. If they've shut down for a holiday without leaving any indication then it's on them really. There's a very faded notice in the window with opening times - picture included for what it's worth.
